Abstract

Seiring terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 di dunia, berita-berita bohong atau hoax semakin gencar beredar di media sosial. Banyak masyarakat, terutama di Indonesia, yang mempercayai berita hoax tersebut, meski banyak pula yang tidak mempercayainya. Dalam kondisi semacam itu, peran media massa seperti halnya Harian Sinar Indonesia Baru (SIB) menjadi sangat penting. Tidak saja untuk menangkal berita-berita hoax tersebut, melainkan juga untuk menyajikan berita-berita yang akurat dan menyejukkan masyarakat. Beban Harian Sinar Indonesia menyajikan informasi yang benar, akurat dan menyejukkan di masa pandemi Covid-19 tersebut, tentulah menjadi berat mengingat kondisi kehidupan sosial yang berlaku seiring diberlakukannya Prosedur Kesehatan yakni Memakai Masker, Mencuci Tangan dan Menjaga Jarak. Ditambah lagi dengan kondisi perekonomian yang lesu sebagai dampak dari pandemi Covid-19, dimana penghasilan media massa menjadi berkurang drastis karena berkurangnya pendapatan dari iklan dan penjualan Koran.

Abstract

This study aims at finding out what perceptions and messages the children get when watching Upin & Ipin shows. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The population of this study is the students grade V and VI in Public Elementary School 040 Huta Godang Muda, Siabu Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency. The results of this study describe the meaning of the message, basically the children reveal that Upin & Ipin are good, polite, like to help people in distress, please help, protect the environment, funny, honest, friendly and most importantly they already understand the messages the message conveyed in the film Upin & Ipin. Upin & Ipin way of speaking Also good and polite, Upin & ipin's behavior is also good and can be replicated in everyday life.

Abstract

Political communication among Political Party Factions in the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Nias Regency occurred in the acceptance of aspirations regarding infrastructure development and obstacles to solving welfare problems. In this study, the faction of Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDI-P) in Nias Regency was chosen as the winning party in the 2019 general election. Qualitative or interpretive methods were used in this study. Research subjects: key informants are Deputy Chair I of the DPRD, the main informants are the Chair of the PDI-P Faction, and the supporting informants are community leaders in the Electoral District (Dapil) members of the PDI-P Faction. The findings of this study are, the PDI-P faction is open to accepting the aspirations of the community; people do not understand about policy formulation; and disruption of coordination with Regional Apparatus Organizations (ODP). The conclusion of this study shows that the Communication Pattern of Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) Faction occurs in a circular manner. The pattern of circular communication is reflected in the acceptance of people's aspirations to the PDI-P faction regarding development and re-submitting them to the community in the form of policy priorities. Regarding the results of the policy formulation process, not all prioritize aspirations, so that people feel dissatisfied. On the other hand, the coordination between the PDI-P faction and ODP to be involved in formally accepting aspirations is not well established.

Abstract

Television is a mass media that is currently widely used by the public to meet their information needs. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of the community, television stations provide news programs that provide information about various events in the lives of people. Metro TV does not only broadcast national and international news but is obliged to broadcast local news. Therefore in this study the writer wants to know how Metro TV Medan Bureau broadcasts its local news. This research method used is descriptive qualitative paradigm; the author only explains the process of producing news on the program North Sumatra Face in Metro TV Medan Bureau. The research informants are staffs who carry out the production of the North Sumatra Face program news. The results of the study explained that the North Sumatra Faces program was carried out in stages about the manuscript coverage from contributors to a news script spruced up in the news room, then it would be submitted to the editor for editing news images according to the script. The editor censors news images related to the elements of violence, pornography, blood, corpses, narcotics, and things that are prohibited in the KPI Act (Indonesian Broadcasting Commission) while the inhibiting factors are technical problems in the camera and computer that are in the studio and conducive field conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul. Persepsi Karyawan PT. Rifan Financindo Berjangka Medan Terhadap Iklan Mito A68 Dengan Menggunakan Celebrity Afgan Syahreza. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menjelaskan suatau produk, dan mengigatkan yang diaman lebih cocok untuk produk yang sudah memasuki tahap awal. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menguji relevansi atau kecocokan antara persepsi target audience terhadap celebrity endorser dengan persepsi target audience terhadap brand image produk baru.Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) dan didukung oleh studi pustaka yang relevan dengan penelitian.Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Tematik, dimana berdasarkan transkrip wawancara informan, diperoleh kata-kata kunci yang kemudian dikelompokan ke dalam tema-tema tertentu. Adapun tema-tema tersebut diperoleh dari kerangka konsep yang dipakai sebagai panduan penelitian yaitu DAGMAR Approach, Teori Persepsi, dan Model VISCAP.

Abstract

Sejak kasus pertama Coid-19 diumumkan pada tanggal 2 maret 2020, jumlah kasus penyebaran covid-29 semakin meningkat dan sangat mudah menyebar, kelompok lansia sering di dominasi dengan kelompok yang rentan mudah terkena karena kondisi fisiologisnya dan sistem imun tubuh yang menurun dan rendah. Dalam hal itu pemerintah Indonesia terutama kelurahan Mangga Kecamatan Simalingkar melakukan tindakan pembatasan sosial, penyekatan pembatasan, penyemprotan disfektan dan pemberian edukasi terhadap bahaya dari penularan covid-19 serta menggunakan masker. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi dan hambatan lurah dalam mensosialisasikan vaksinasi covid 19 kepada masyarakat di kelurahan mangga kecamatan medan tuntungan. Dari penelitian mendapatkan hasil yang menunjukan kalau strategi komunikasi lurah didalam mensosialisasikan vaksinasi covid-19 adalah dengan lurah sebagai komunikator dan masyarakat sebagai komunikan, dengan isi pesan atau informasi mengenai penyuluhan dan penjelasan tentang vaksin yang disampaikan melaui secara langsung dan menggunakan media online (wa) dan media cetak (spanduk) dengan harapan agar masyarakat mau untuk divaksin sehingga menurunkan penyebaran covid-19. Tetapi ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti kesimpangsiuran informasi tentang vaksin yang membuat masyarakat takut akibat gejalanya setelah divaksinasi.

Abstract

This study entitled "Construction of Interpersonal Communication Commuities Share & Care in Motivating Self Cancer Patients at Murni Teguh Hospital Medan" which aims at determining how interpersonal communication is formed among cancer sufferers as well as how the relationship between family support in self-motivation and knowing the psychological condition of the patient cancer in the Share & Care community. Interpersonal communication is an important instrument in approaching cancer sufferers, the Share & Care community in this case was born as a forum for them to provide motivation, enthusiasm and fight fear in undergoing treatment. Researchers used descriptive research methods, namely by collecting data through observations or observations, as well as managing information to then draw conclusions from the study. The number of informants taken was 5 informants who were members of the Share & Care community as well as cancer patients. This study resulted in a way of interpersonal communication carried out by members of the Share & Care community which had a positive effect on cancer patients, namely motivating themselves so that they were willing to follow the entire treatment process that had been determined by the doctor.

Abstract

Dalam skripsi saya berjudul “Strategi Manajemen Media Mediabinsnisdaily.com Dalam Meningkatkan Pengunjung Website”. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengunjung website. Metodenya adalah: perencanaan, pemantauan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, konsistensi, berbagi ke media sosial, membuat akun media sosial, grup wa, membangun komunitas, acara yang relevan, dan memfilter konten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pengelolaan media Medanbisnisdaily.com dalam meningkatkan pengunjung website dan juga untuk mengetahui salah satu faktor penghambat yang dialami media Medanbisnisdaily.com dalam meningkatkan pengunjung website. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang merupakan salah satu strategi dalam melakukan penelitian dimana peneliti menelusuri atau menyelidiki secara seksama suatu kejadian atau kejadian dalam mengumpulkan data. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, pemaparan data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diperoleh dengan meningkatkan pengunjung website yaitu: perencanaan, pengarahan, pengorganisasian dan pemantauan, konsisten, berbagi ke media sosial, membuat akun media sosial, membangun komunitas, acara yang relevan dan memfilter konten di medanbisnidaily. com. Dan adapun faktor penghambat yang dialami media Medanbisnisdaily.com dalam meningkatkan pengunjung website adalah sumber daya manusia (SDM), moda, padat karya, pandemi covid-19, sarana dan prasarana, keterlambatan menggali informasi dan persaingan di media Medanbisnidaily.com.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country located in the ring of fire circum has caused many volcanoes in Indonesia. Most of the people also live in areas close to volcanoes this makes disasters like eruptions unavoidable. Communication is required in all aspects of life, including in the context of disasters. One of the disaster management agencies or Institutions is the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). This study aims at finding how the Disaster Communication Strategy by BPBD Karo Regency in Disaster Resilient Village Activities. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data used in this study are primary data collected from the field. Research methods is qualitative approach. There were 6 informants in this study. Based on the research results, the conclusion is that the strategy in selecting communicators is seen from the point of view of credibility, attractiveness, and strength of the communicators, namely the sources. The credibility of the sources possessed is the extensive knowledge related to disasters, attitudes and personalities that are favored by the community, as well as sufficient experience to become a communicator. the attraction that has able to attract people to come to listen to the material. In the Strategy of Reviewing the Message Conducted by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) it is education and selection of communication media used by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), namely old media in the form of old media, outdoor media in the form of banners, billboards, and Umbul-Umbul, and media new in the form of social media Facebook and the WA Group.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the communication strategy used by the Department of Culture in an effort to preserve the Serampang Dua Belas Dance in Medan City and the obstacles experienced in implementing communication strategies in preserving this dance. The research subjects are Policy Stakeholders at the Culture Service, Malay Community Leaders, and the owners of the Serampang Dua Belas Dance Studio in Medan City. Data collection techniques are through research in the field using observation methods and in-depth interviews with research informants and using literature or documents that support research. Data processing used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the descriptive analysis of the study indicate that the communication strategy used by the Department of Culture is not as effective as before, especially in the areas of message preparation, method use, and media use. The Department's program experienced obstacles and did not run as it should, this was because the presenced of Covid-19 made the work program of the Office constrained due to budget constraints for funding the preservation program, reduction of activities, especially dance dance training, and no competitions were held in connection with the prohibition of crowds on the grounds of health protocols, and others. Preservation methods such as the Redundancy method and the Persuasive Method in the form of approached and establishing cooperative relationships with related parties such as the executive, private parties, the press, and others had not been carried out, to strive for the Serampang Dua Belas Dance to be more existent in the eyes of the public and tourists in particular.
