Abstract

This study develops a web-based digital marketing platform for tourism-sector micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Rua Village to improve access to business information, product promotion, ordering, and transaction management. The research applies a software engineering approach through system analysis, system design, Agile Scrum development, and system testing. Data were collected through documentation, field observation, and interviews with tourism and MSME stakeholders. The resulting platform provides a public page for information and promotion, buyer registration and product purchasing, an MSME-owner dashboard for managing business information, products, orders, and reports, and an administrative dashboard for managing users, MSMEs, categories, products, transactions, payments, and public content. The system was developed through four Scrum sprints using Laravel, HTML5, Tailwind CSS, Vue.js, and MySQL. Functional evaluation using Black Box Testing covered 15 scenarios and achieved a 100% success rate. User experience evaluation used the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 30 respondents comprising MSME actors, tourism managers, and prospective tourists; the manuscript does not report a numerical SUS score because individual questionnaire responses were not included. The platform provides an integrated digital channel to support the promotion and transaction of local MSME products in Rua Village.

Abstract

Inventory management is an important part of supporting the continuity of company operations, particularly for companies whose production activities depend on the availability of raw materials. PT Sinar Epoxindo Sejati previously managed raw material inventory through manual recording and verbal or WhatsApp-based reporting, which caused several problems, including discrepancies between administrative records and physical stock, delays in recording incoming and outgoing materials, difficulties in tracking stock movements, and limitations in preparing inventory reports. This research aims to design and develop a web-based raw material inventory system that can centralize inventory data, improve the accuracy of stock information, support accountability in inventory transactions, and facilitate real-time stock monitoring. The research uses the Prototyping software development method, which involves requirements gathering, quick design, prototype development, prototype evaluation, prototype refinement, and final system development. The system was implemented using CodeIgniter 3 as the web application framework and MySQL as the database. The developed system provides user access management, master data management, supplier management, purchase order processing, goods receipt, stock issue using the First In First Out (FIFO) method, stock adjustment, stock monitoring, transaction history, and inventory reporting. Functional testing was performed using the Black Box Testing method on the login, purchase request, purchase order, goods receipt, and stock movement modules. The test results showed that the tested functions operated according to the expected scenarios. The implementation provides a centralized inventory data environment and supports more structured monitoring and reporting of raw material stock at PT Sinar Epoxindo Sejati.

Abstract

This study addresses the selection of free digital meeting platforms, where user choice may be influenced by habit and popularity rather than a structured multi-criteria assessment. The study aims to evaluate Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams using a Decision Support System based on a hybrid Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Product (WP) approach. A quantitative descriptive design was applied using questionnaire data from 230 respondents who had experience using at least two of the three platforms for educational and/or professional activities. Four benefit criteria were evaluated: popularity, user interface/user experience (UI/UX), accessibility, and user satisfaction. SAW was used to normalize the decision matrix, after which the normalized values were processed using WP with criterion weights of 2, 3, 3, and 2, respectively. The detailed calculation produced preference values of 0.514 for Zoom, 0.450 for Google Meet, and 0.036 for Microsoft Teams. Thus, the resulting order was Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. The findings indicate that the hybrid procedure can integrate usage intensity and perceived quality dimensions into a transparent decision-support process. The result is applicable within the respondent context and criteria used in this study.

Abstract

The development of information technology provides opportunities for government agencies to improve data management and public services. The data collection process for uninhabitable houses at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of Southwest Sumba Regency still requires an integrated information system to support data recording, verification, storage, and reporting. This study aims to develop a web-based information system for collecting data on uninhabitable houses to support the management of data at the village and regency levels. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using web-based technologies with PHP and MySQL as the database management system. The system, named SIPERATU, provides separate functions for village operators and regency administrators. Village operators can input uninhabitable house data, upload supporting photographs, edit data, and submit data for verification. Regency administrators can review submitted data, verify data, accept or reject submissions, manage verified data, and export data for reporting purposes. The developed system is expected to support more structured, centralized, and efficient management of uninhabitable house data.

Abstract

The management of student organizations in higher education requires accurate, accessible, and traceable information to support activity planning, administration, monitoring, and reporting. At Universitas Stella Maris Sumba, organizational information and activity administration can be consolidated through a web-based monitoring information system so that relevant stakeholders can access current data according to their roles. This study aims to design and develop a web-based student organization monitoring information system using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. The research uses a systems development approach consisting of system requirements analysis, UML-based system design, implementation, and functional and usability testing. System analysis is conducted using the PIECES framework to identify problems in performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service. System design employs use case, activity, sequence, class, and entity-relationship models, while the Waterfall model is used as the development method. Laravel is used to implement the application using an MVC architecture and MySQL is used for structured data management. The proposed system provides role-based access to organization data, administrators, activity programs, proposals, accountability reports, monitoring status, and reporting. The empirical testing values, including the number of test scenarios and usability score, should be inserted from the actual test results before publication. The study is expected to support more structured, transparent, and traceable management of student organization activities at Universitas Stella Maris Sumba.

Abstract

Digital images are increasingly used as documentation in educational environments, while image-editing tools make manipulation increasingly accessible. This study analyzes a workflow that combines Error Level Analysis (ELA) and a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for preliminary detection of manipulated images using photographs from SD Padedewatu as a case study. The dataset initially consisted of 34 original photographs. Because the supplied photographs did not contain verified manipulation labels, controlled manipulated variants were generated from each source image using copy-move, splicing, and object-erasure operations. The resulting labeled dataset contained 136 images, consisting of 34 authentic and 102 manipulated images. ELA was applied by recompressing each image and visualizing the resulting compression-error differences. A CNN classifier was then trained on ELA representations. To reduce source-image leakage, 24 source-image groups were used for training and 10 source-image groups were reserved for testing, producing 96 training images and 40 testing images. The model achieved 75% test Accuracy, 75% precision, 100% recall, and an F1-score of 85.71%. However, the confusion matrix showed that all test images were predicted as manipulated, including the 10 authentic images. Therefore, the Accuracy value should not be interpreted as evidence of balanced or robust forgery detection. The experiment provides a reproducible local ELA-CNN workflow and identifies dataset balance, sample size, and external validation as important priorities for subsequent research.

Abstract

Anapallu Village, Central Sumba Regency, still uses conventional processes in population data management, correspondence administration services, and information delivery to the community. This condition causes services to be less effective and people have to come directly to the village office to obtain information and administrative services. This research aims to design and implement a web-based Village Information System that can help village officials manage data and provide services to the community more quickly and easily. The development of the system uses the Waterfall method which includes needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with features of population data management, letter submission, news, announcements, profiles, and village galleries. The system test uses the Black-Box Testing method to ensure that each function runs as needed. The system developed is expected to increase the effectiveness of administrative services and make it easier for the community to obtain information about Anapallu Village quickly and transparently.

Abstract

Amid the intensifying currents of modernization and globalization, a segment of Javanese society in urban areas continues to uphold the complete Javanese traditional wedding ceremony. This phenomenon is compelling to examine, as the choice demands considerable economic, cultural, and social capital, while embodying complex dimensions of cultural identity representation and social status. This study aims to describe and analyze how Javanese communities represent their cultural identity and social status through the complete Javanese traditional wedding ceremony, and to identify the social, cultural, and economic factors underlying this decision amid modernization. The research employs a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design and Clifford Geertz's thick description analysis. Data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with ten informants, including three couples, a wedding organizer, a bridal stylist, a traditional elder, wedding guests, and content creators in the Bekasi area, West Java, from April to June 2026. The findings reveal that Javanese traditional weddings function as a living and meaningful symbol system in which each ceremony constitutes an active symbolic act of cultural identity construction. The completeness of the ceremony correlates with socioeconomic status; however, true distinction is measured by depth of cultural appreciation rather than material extravagance. Intercultural weddings reinforce appreciation of traditional meanings, while digital content creators play a significant role in expanding the transmission of Javanese cultural values in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system for monitoring and evaluating social assistance programs in Kadi Wanno Village. The research addresses the need for more structured management of beneficiary data, assistance programs, distribution records, monitoring indicators, and evaluation reports. The study uses an applied research approach with observation, interviews, and document analysis as data-collection techniques. System requirements are analyzed using the PIECES framework, while system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) through use case, activity, and class modeling, complemented by a relational data model and interface design. The system is developed using the Waterfall model and CodeIgniter 4 framework based on the Model-View-Controller architecture. Functional verification is designed using Black-Box Testing with test cases derived from the identified functional requirements. The proposed system integrates beneficiary management, program management, verification, distribution recording, monitoring dashboards, evaluation records, and reporting into one web-based platform. The contribution of this study is a village-level monitoring and evaluation information system that emphasizes traceable data management and periodic reporting rather than merely recording recipients. The empirical testing results, including the number of test cases and successful execution rate, should be inserted from the actual field testing before journal submission.

Abstract

Selecting high-achieving elementary school students is a multi-criteria decision problem because academic performance alone does not fully represent student achievement. This study proposes a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) to identify outstanding students at Sekolah Dasar Katolik Wikico Kawango using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The research design combines system analysis, object-oriented system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), Waterfall-based development, and black-box functional testing. SAW is applied through criteria identification, criterion weighting, decision matrix construction, normalization by benefit and cost attributes, and calculation of the preference value for each student. The proposed model is intended to make the selection process more structured, transparent, reproducible, and easier to document than a purely manual process. Because the source materials supplied for this drafting stage do not include the school's actual student dataset, criterion weights, or testing records, the numerical ranking results in this manuscript are presented as a validation-ready model, not as empirical findings. The resulting manuscript therefore provides a complete methodological and reporting structure that can be populated with verified school data before submission.
