<![CDATA[Educational tourism (Eduwisata) is an activity where tourists travel in groups to a place with the main aim of gaining direct learning experience about the location they are visiting. The Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA) Educational Area has great potential to develop education-based tourism, with interesting locations such as Embung A, which is currently used by students and the community for sports, Botanical Gardens, Astronomical Observatories, and other potential that has not yet been fully exploited. maximum. Even though it has a lot of potential, the use of edutourism in the ITERA area is currently still centered on Embung A as a sports facility. Therefore, this research aims to develop educational tourism zoning within the Sumatra Institute of Technology so that tourists can enjoy educational tourism more easily and to prevent the concentration of activities in only one location. This zoning development also aims to facilitate policy determination in optimizing the potential of edutourism areas. Through analysis of land capabilities and suitability, this research will produce a zoning map of the edutourism area. With this zoning map, it is hoped that visitors can more easily access various educational tourism locations in ITERA, and educational tourism activities can be spread more evenly throughout the area. Apart from that, it is hoped that better management of the edutourism area can make ITERA a superior edutourism destination that not only provides an enjoyable learning experience for visitors, but also supports the development of education and research in the campus environment.]]>

<![CDATA[By focusing on the @pandawaragroup account in particular, this study intends to dissect the function of Instagram as a platform for environmental advocacy campaigns. Global environmental difficulties, including pollution, deforestation, and climate change, need community engagement and are driving this study. A collective of young individuals hailing from Bandung, Indonesia, run the @pandawaragroup account on Instagram. They want to raise awareness about environmental issues by sharing engaging and educational visual material. Eighty posts from the @pandawaragroup account during October and November 2024 were analyzed as part of the descriptive qualitative study technique. Relevance to environmental concerns, communication tactics, and audience reactions were the criteria utilized to evaluate these posts. Symbolic interactionism theory is also used in this study to understand how social media content's symbols create collective meaning that inspires actual action. Findings from this study highlight the significance of the @pandawaragroup account in bringing environmental concerns to the attention of the general population. This account has had great success in generating audience engagement—comments, likes, and involvement in environmental campaigns—through the use of visual-based communication methods including films, infographics, and cooperation with other groups. According to these findings, Instagram in particular might be a powerful social media tool for campaigns advocating for environmental protection.]]>

<![CDATA[The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a strategic initiative aimed at improving the nutritional quality and learning motivation of students in Indonesia. This program is based on data showing that 41% of students in Indonesia experience hunger while studying, which negatively impacts their concentration and academic achievement. MBG not only targets school children, but has also been expanded to include toddlers, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. The government has allocated a budget of IDR 71 trillion in the 2025 Draft State Budget for the initial phase of this program, which is planned to start on January 2,A 2025. Through critical discourse analysis developed by Teun A. Van Dijk, this study will analyze the structure and discourse strategies used in the MBG program, as well as how public perceptions of this program are formed and influence students' attitudes and behaviors at school. Data were collected through non-participant observation in schools involved in the program as well as documentation from various social media and related news. The results of this study are expected to provide a clearer picture of the impact of the program on students' learning motivation and its implications in the context of education in Indonesia. Thus, this study can contribute to the development of more effective education policies in Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[The enforcement of legal measures against the misuse of registration plates on two-wheeled vehicles has become a critical concern in Indonesia's traffic system. This issue is exacerbated by the increasing number of violations leading to erroneous electronic fines (e-tickets), undermining public trust in the legal system. According to 2023 data from the Indonesian National Police, over 500 cases of counterfeit license plate usage resulted in misdirected e-tickets. This study examines the enforcement of laws addressing the misuse of vehicle registration plates under Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation. It focuses on identifying weaknesses in the current legal framework and ensuring the application of justice in cases of misallocated fines. Employing a normative juridical approach, this research analyzes existing regulations and evaluates relevant cases. The findings indicate that such misuse contravenes Articles 280 and 288 of Law No. 22 of 2009, which stipulate compliance with technical specifications and legality in vehicle registration. However, enforcement efforts face challenges such as inadequate monitoring tools and the lack of integrated vehicle data systems. This study recommends enhancing the data verification processes in e-ticketing systems and fostering stronger collaboration between law enforcement and related agencies to address these issues. Such measures aim to improve legal accountability and ensure equitable traffic supervision. By tackling these systemic shortcomings, the research contributes to restoring public confidence in traffic law enforcement and promoting a more effective legal framework for road safety in Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[Flight safety is a cornerstone of the aviation industry, heavily reliant on the professionalism and vigilance of pilots. This study examines the legal consequences of pilot negligence in maintaining flight safety, focusing on a case involving a fatigued Batik Air pilot. Employing a normative juridical approach, this research analyzes relevant legal frameworks, including Indonesia’s Law No. 1 of 2009 on Aviation, Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 13, and related legal instruments. The findings reveal that negligence resulting from fatigue constitutes a severe violation of safety standards, breaching the duty of care expected in aviation operations. Such negligence may attract various legal repercussions, ranging from administrative sanctions, such as license revocation, to criminal charges as stipulated under Artt. 411 and 412 of Law No. 1 of 2009. Additionally, airlines may face civil liabilities for compensating passengers for damages incurred. The study also highlights the legal obligation of airlines to ensure the physical and mental fitness of pilots through stringent monitoring of work schedules and regular health evaluations. This paper concludes that strict law enforcement and the establishment of a robust safety culture within the aviation industry are essential to mitigating risks associated with human factors, particularly pilot negligence.]]>

<![CDATA[his study aims to evaluate the feasibility of Middlemist Florist’s business expansion by opening three new booths in strategic locations in Indonesia. Middlemist, as a leading player in the florist industry, has been operating since 2021, offering various fresh flower arrangements with exclusive designs. However, in the face of increasing competition, Middlemist needs to develop innovative business strategies to enhance revenue and expand its market reach. Using a quantitative approach, this study assesses the financial feasibility of Middlemist’s expansion by analyzing financial reports from 2021 to 2024, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Financial projections for the next five years were conducted to evaluate feasibility using methods such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Profitability Index (PI), and Payback Period. The analysis revealed that the expansion project’s NPV is IDR 32.7 million, with an IRR of 66.52%, significantly exceeding the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) of 6.78%. Additionally, the PI value of 3.18 indicates substantial financial benefits compared to the initial investment cost. The Payback Period is estimated at only 1 year and 6 months, reflecting the efficiency and short-term profitability of this expansion. Sales projections indicate potential annual revenue of IDR 51.6 million per booth, with an average monthly sales target of IDR 4.3 million. This success relies heavily on Middlemist’s ability to capitalize on seasonal trends and customer demand for high-quality flower arrangements. However, the main challenges include competing with other florist businesses and maintaining high standards of quality and product innovation. This study recommends that Middlemist enhance its marketing strategies through digital approaches and collaborations with event organizers to expand its customer base. Revenue from the new booths should also be allocated to strengthening the operations of the main store and diversifying products to reach a broader market segment. Additionally, Middlemist should ensure sustainable operations by prioritizing environmentally friendly flower sourcing and supporting local farmers, aligning with the company’s vision. These findings suggest that expansion into three strategic locations not only has the potential to increase revenue but also strengthens Middlemist’s position in the growing florist industry in Indonesia. This study provides practical contributions to data-driven business strategy development, focusing on financial efficiency and business sustainability. This expansion is expected to be the first step in realizing Middlemist’s vision of being a premium flower provider that brings beauty and meaning to every important customer moment.]]>

<![CDATA[Mining workers are crucial human resources in operating mining production processes, in addition to machinery and digital equipment. These workers possess specialized, specific, and complex skills, facing significant risks both to human lives (mortality) and corporate assets. Therefore, nurturing, developing, and enhancing their well-being, particularly in knowledge and skills (both soft skills and hard skills), are the main focus of this study. This research aims to illustrate the management of training and skills for mining workers at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. and analyze it descriptively in terms of realization, achievements, and objectives. The subjects of this research are the Operation and Waste Management divisions at SMBR. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques involving triangulation, yielding findings that show: 1) Training and skills are worker competency standards, 2) Training and skills are necessary to fulfill competency and certification requirements, 3) Training is tailored to job positions, and 4) Competency evaluation and job rotation practices are implemented. The conclusion is that SMBR has adequately implemented training and skill management, covering both soft and hard skills. Hard skills are reflected in training aligned with Ministerial Regulation of Energy and Mineral Resources (Permen ESDM) No. 1827, while soft skills are included in in-house training implementation.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out the important role of the Witness and Victim Protection Institution (LPSK) in the judicial system in Indonesia. This assessment was carried out by reviewing various relevant regulations, such as Law Number 35 of 2014 and Number 11 of 2012. This study found that LPSK has a crucial function in providing comprehensive protection to victims' children. The protection includes assistance in legal proceedings as well as efforts to recover physical and psychological conditions. The results of this study emphasize the significance of LPSK's role in ensuring that children who are victims of sexual violence receive appropriate justice and protection.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia as a country of law prohibits gambling, including the promotion of online gambling, because it is contrary to religious values, Pancasila morals, and endangers society. Criminal provisions related to gambling are regulated in the Criminal Code and the ITE Law, including sanctions for promotion through electronic media. Online gambling is increasingly rampant along with technological advances, driven by promotions by influencers who violate ethics and the law. An example of a case is two celebrities who were arrested for promoting gambling sites. The law strictly prohibits the distribution of gambling content in any form, as regulated in the ITE Law and other regulations. This study uses a normative juridical method, namely a method that emphasizes research on library materials as the main basis. This approach is carried out by analyzing legal regulations, relevant literature, and expert views or theories related to the problems studied. The results of this Online gambling and its promotion are regulated in the ITE Law which prohibits the distribution of gambling information with a criminal penalty of up to 6 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion, as well as the Criminal Code which punishes online gambling promotion with the same criminal penalty. Law enforcement involves digital forensics to collect evidence and provide a deterrent effect, protecting the public from the negative impacts of online gambling.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the determinants of job satisfaction and the implications for employee performance in sub-districk in Teluk Bayur Districk East Kalimantan. The research method used in this research is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The number of research respondens used was 68 ASN ( Civil Service ) employes in sub-districts in Teluk Bayur District, East Kalimantan.The ssampling with a saturated sample approach because the entire population was taken as a sample. The result of the research are (a)leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction, (b) organizational culture has an insignificant effect on job satisfaction, (c) leadership has a significant effect on employee performance, (d) organizational culture has an insignificant effect on employee performance, (e) job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, (f) job satisfaction has succeeded in mediating the influence of leadership on employee performance, and (g) job satisfaction has not succeeded in mediating the influence of organizational culture on employee performance.]]>
