Abstract

Bilingualism is an increasingly common phenomenon in Indonesia due to globalization and technological development, which accelerates cross-language interaction and affects the structure of Indonesian in various aspects. One of the impacts is the increasing use of foreign words, especially English, which can enrich vocabulary but also risk replacing Indonesian equivalents. This study aims to analyze the impact of bilingualism on the development of the Indonesian language, both in terms of vocabulary, syntax, and morphology, and identify strategies that can be used to maintain a balance between the acceptance of foreign elements and the preservation of the Indonesian language. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results show that bilingualism contributes to the linguistic development of society, but also causes interference that affects the structure of Indonesian. In the academic realm, bilingualism without a clear strategy can hinder understanding of the material. In digital communication, the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing is increasingly prevalent, especially among Generation Z, which shows the integration of bilingualism in their linguistic identity. Therefore, linguistic policies are needed that support a balance between the acceptance of foreign elements and the preservation of the Indonesian language so that bilingualism remains an enriching asset without threatening the sustainability of the national language.

Abstract

This final project report aims to calculate the maximum flow rate capability based on the IPR curve to determine the comparison between fluid types based on PwF, after which the volumetric efficiency calculation is carried out on the installed HPU pump to find out whether the volumetric efficiency is below 60% - 80%, if the volumetric efficiency is below the target then optimization is carried out on the HPU pump. To carry out this final project, a preliminary study was carried out by reviewing information both in literature from the company and interviews, and field observations. Furthermore, data collection was carried out through interviews and field observations for data acquisition. After knowing and obtaining data, data processing is carried out to study related to the initial objectives of this final project. After data processing, it is known that the evaluation results before optimization that volumetric efficiency is 42.816% with pressure well flowing conditions of 273,859 psi. This of course has been outside the provisions of a company where the company has a volumetric efficiency target of 80%. To increase volumetric efficiency, pump intake calculations are carried out to determine the optimal parameters of stroke length and SPM under PwF conditions obtained from the relationship curve of N and S values to Q. After using the optimal parameters from the N and S value relationship curve results, the volumetric efficiency increased to 85.751% with a pump displacement of 377,838 bbl/day which is not much different from the gross Q of 324 bfpd, so the objectives of the final project have been achieved.

Abstract

This study analyzes the slope stability in Pit X of PT Bukit Asam, Tbk (PTBA), which is a former disposal area that has been re-excavated, resulting in the presence of old dump material. The objective of this study is to analyze and process the material properties used in assessing the slope stability in Pit X and to determine the optimal overall slope geometry for Pit X. In this study, the determination of material properties for slope stability analysis in Pit X was carried out by creating cross-sections, considering the position of boreholes, and processing material properties from the nearest borehole data using a class creation and interval creation approach for each material property. The material properties used are the median values of each class. The most optimal overall slope geometry consists of a single bench height of 6 meters, a single bench width of 12 meters (1:2 ratio), and a bench width of 23 meters. This slope geometry was applied to all cross-sections, resulting in a dynamic factor of safety (FoS) of 1.216 and a static FoS of 1.393 for cross-section A-A', a dynamic FoS of 1.552 and a static FoS of 2.016 for cross-section B-B', a dynamic FoS of 1.529 and a static FoS of 1.760 for cross-section C-C', and a dynamic FoS of 1.585 and a static FoS of 1.827 for cross-section D-D', all of which are considered safe. These FoS values were obtained under conditions immediately after rainfall had ceased, with a recorded rainfall intensity of 110.08 mm and a duration of 4.18 hours.

Abstract

The limited knowledge of mothers regarding the provision of complementary feeding (MP-ASI) is one of the factors contributing to nutritional issues in toddlers. Therefore, the development of educational media is necessary to enhance mothers' understanding of MP-ASI. This study aims to design and assess the feasibility of an animated video as a learning medium for MP-ASI provision. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed media was then validated by three content experts and three media experts, followed by a field test involving 30 mothers of toddlers. Data collection was conducted using a validation form designed by the researcher, with the Content Validity Index (CVI) threshold for the validation test set between 0.8 and 1.0, while the field test results ranged between 85% and 100%. The findings revealed that content specialists assigned a Content Validity Index (CVI) of 1.0, while media professionals also rated it at 1.0, signifying the media’s appropriateness for application. Additionally, the field trial yielded a score of 88.16%, categorizing it as highly viable for educational purposes. From these analytical outcomes, it can be inferred that the animated video is both valid and appropriate for use as an instructional resource to improve mothers’ understanding of complementary feeding (MP-ASI).

Abstract

The study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive design. Data sources included informants’ statements and actions, as well as primary and secondary data. The data collection procedure consisted of four stages: pre-fieldwork, fieldwork, data processing, and report writing. The findings reveal that active community participation at every stage of development is a key factor in ensuring success. Nevertheless, community participation in Wasior District remains relatively low. Bureaucratic behavior has not effectively boosted participation, as indicated by suboptimal leadership, communication, and education. Moreover, coordination between the District Head and branch offices or district-level agencies has not been executed in accordance with the established work plan. Low education levels among the local population impede their ability to participate effectively. Meanwhile, the capacity-building efforts directed toward village government officials and community institutions are still not optimal. Over the past five years, development programs have predominantly been driven by higher-level governmental directives, leaving community aspirations inadequately addressed. Additionally, customary regulations regarding land ownership pose significant obstacles to the implementation of development programs and adversely affect overall community participation.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the authority of notaries in terms of buying and selling land for investment and analyze the form of notary's responsibility if proven to have committed a criminal act against security deposits in terms of buying and selling land for investment. The research method used is normative legal research, with a statutory approach, conceptual approach and case approach. The results of the research can be concluded that the Notary who receives the deposit money indirectly becomes a party to the deed he makes himself, because a deposit agreement arises between the Notary and the confronters. The deed, which was previously an authentic deed that has perfect evidentiary power, degrades its evidentiary power to become like a deed under the hand. The form of criminal responsibility in the criminal decision of the Mataram High Court Decision Number 1/PID/2023/PT.MTR. which in its opinion upheld the Mataram District Court Decision Number 126/Pid.B/2022/PN.PYA which stated that Defendant I Chuck Wijaya S.H., M.Kn. and Defendant II Lalu Ading Buntaran Alias Lalu Buntaran were legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a crime as charged by the Public Prosecutor.
