Abstract

This activity explores the concept of green waqf as an Islamic philanthropic instrument supporting environmental sustainability and examines the responses of café business actors, specifically the Kopishop “Kopimu” located within the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar (Unismuh) campus environment. The objectives are to (1) assess the awareness and understanding of green waqf among Kopimu stakeholders, (2) analyze their perceptions and responses toward environmental sustainability issues, and (3) formulate potential collaborative strategies between green waqf programs and sustainable business practices. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through educational activities, short surveys, and semi-structured discussions with Kopimu managers and employees. The findings reveal that literacy on green waqf remains low, while sustainability awareness is relatively high, driven by consumer demands and institutional academic culture. Kopimu demonstrates openness to environmental collaboration initiatives, yet emphasizes the need for clear mechanisms, institutional support, and promotional incentives. The activity concludes that green waqf has the potential to serve as a complementary sustainability instrument for Kopimu, provided that literacy and partnership platforms are strengthened.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moral values contained in the book "Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia" for Junior High School Grade IX published by Erlangga and to analyze the extent to which the moral values in the book support the character formation of students in accordance with the goals of national education. The method used in this study is a type of qualitative research with the content analysis method, which involves identifying and grouping moral values contained in various types of learning texts. The results of the study show that the book contains moral values such as responsibility, hard work, empathy, solidarity, honesty, discipline, compliance with norms and laws, concern for the environment, self-confidence, and politeness. These values are presented in a context that is relevant to students' daily lives, making it easier for them to internalize and apply them in life. This study concludes that the book "Mahir Berbahasa Indonesia" for Junior High School Grade IX not only functions as a source of academic material, but also as an effective instrument in the character formation of students, supporting the goals of national education to create a generation of integrity and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an operational boundary between dowry killing and honor killing by identifying their underlying driving mechanisms, explaining the consequences of these differences for mens rea and evidentiary indicators, and assessing whether special offence regimes and evidentiary presumptions enhance accountability or instead displace proof with category-based judgments. The research employs normative legal methodology with a conceptual approach, mapping coercive mechanisms onto offence elements and evidentiary pathways, while critically evaluating the design of special offences and judicial presumptions. The findings indicate that dowry-related killing operates through economic coercion based on recurring material demands, coercive family bargaining, and escalating harassment, making transaction trails, demand communications, and patterned cruelty central to proof. Honor-based homicide, by contrast, operates through reputation restoration oriented toward social recognition, where proof turns on shame-related language, reputational threats, markers of social legitimation, and the collective dimension of decision-making. The study further shows that special offences and presumptions may strengthen accountability but risk over-inclusion and under-inclusion when applied without evidence-based classification gates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze social barriers in economic development that affect the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency. MSMEs play a strategic role in supporting regional economic development; however, their growth is often constrained by various non-economic factors, particularly social barriers. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, utilizing secondary data obtained from academic journals, reference books, and relevant institutional reports. Data analysis is conducted descriptively to identify the forms of social barriers faced by MSMEs and to examine their implications for business growth and competitiveness. The findings reveal that MSMEs encounter several dominant social challenges, including low levels of business literacy, traditional entrepreneurial mindsets, limited access to information and business networks, and low utilization of technology in business activities. These conditions hinder MSMEs from innovating, expanding market access, and improving productivity, which ultimately weakens their competitiveness. Therefore, strengthening social aspects such as education, mindset transformation, information accessibility, and technological adaptation is essential to support sustainable MSME growth and enhance regional economic development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of Zapin Dance based on the community and to identify the character values of students that are internalized through this learning practice. Art activities in pesantren are generally positioned as the development of interests and talents, so the learning experiences and social experiences within them have not been fully understood as part of the character education process. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Community Based Learning (CBL) is used as an analytical framework to study learning practices that naturally occur within the Zapinestars community. The results of the study indicate that learning takes place in a non-formal, gradual, and participatory manner through social interaction, habitual practice, cooperation, and collective responsibility. Character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, social care, and manners are evident through the behavior and habits of the students during the training process. These findings confirm that Zapin Dance functions not only as an art activity but also as a social learning space that allows the internalization of character to take place through real experiences within the community.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of implementing Ronggeng Amen traditional dance through Project Based Learning in extracurricular dance activities at SMA Negeri 1 Mangunjaya as a strategy for introducing local culture. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included students participating in dance extracurricular activities and related parties involved in the program. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with verification through triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of Project Based Learning in extracurricular dance activities effectively facilitates active student involvement in learning Ronggeng Amen. The project-based approach encourages students to understand Ronggeng Amen not merely as a sequence of dance movements, but as a cultural heritage with symbolic meanings and social functions. Furthermore, the implementation contributes to the improvement of students’ understanding of local culture, appreciative attitudes, active participation, as well as the development of collaboration and responsibility skills. Therefore, Project Based Learning is considered a relevant and effective strategy for introducing and preserving local culture through dance extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the deep learning approach in creative dance learning and its impact on the learning process and character development of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Ciamis. The deep learning approach emphasizes meaningful, conscious, and reflective learning through the stages of observing, exploring, practicing, discussing, and reflecting. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation during four creative dance learning meetings. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of description, reduction, and selection. The results of the study indicate that the application of deep learning-based creative dance learning can increase students' active involvement, creativity, courage to perform, and understanding of the elements of dance space, time, and energy. In addition, there is a gradual development of student character, especially in aspects of discipline, cooperation, responsibility, creativity, and self-confidence. Learning oriented towards the exploration and reflection process provides a more meaningful learning experience for students. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the deep learning approach is effective in creative dance learning because it not only improves the quality of the learning process and outcomes, but also contributes to strengthening student character through collaborative and reflective learning experiences.

Abstract

The construction of the Tiga Dihaji Dam, located in Tiga Dihaji District, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, is part of a National Strategic Project aimed at supporting irrigation and raw water provision, flood control, and regional economic development. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Tiga Dihaji Dam construction on community life and identify opportunities and benefits that can be utilized by affected communities. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that dam construction has positive impacts in the form of new job creation and increased community economic activity. However, it also has negative impacts, including loss of productive land, environmental damage, decreased discharge and quality of the Selabung River, and disruption to ecosystem balance and social order. This study uses Urip Santoso's Agrarian Politics Theory as an analytical framework to understand power relations between the state and society in infrastructure development. Sustainable social and environmental impact management policies, along with economic assistance and equitable compensation, are needed to optimally achieve development goals without sacrificing local community welfare.

Abstract

This final project report aims to document the activities of the Dharma Andalas University PKM-PI Team in developing an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Used Aluminium Melting Electric Furnace for UMKM's. This documentation is made as a reporting and promotional media through Instagram @pkmpi_alatpeleburaluminium by referring to Media Production Theory which includes three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. Instagram was chosen as the main platform because of its interactive features like Instagram Insights that enable content performance analysis. The results of this project show that the right visual communication strategy in social media can increase audience engagement and the effectiveness of information dissemination, especially in supporting technological innovation for UMKM's.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of the Malang City Education and Culture Office in handling bullying cases that are rampant in the school environment. Bullying is an act of violence that has a negative impact on students' psychological, social and academic conditions, and is a real threat to human security. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods to describe the phenomenon in depth. The results showed that the Education and Culture Office plays an active role as an educational facilitator, driver of school culture change, and shaper of preventive policies. This research also highlights the link between the bullying phenomenon and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially point 4 on Quality Education.
