Abstract

In the psychological changes that occur in adolescence, one of them is socio-emotional changes, when they have high emotional tension. This creates the pressures for adolescents, such as the pressure of academic performance, the need to be popular, the desire to be accepted in an appropriate social group. The ability to be able managing the emotions for adolescents is related with habit of experiencing various problems that pressurize themselves such as stress, anxiety and depression. They should have the ability to manage adaptive of emotion. Some studies state that art therapy helps to explore one's feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts,, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, etc. Researchers conducted research using descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection using observation and interviews with 5 adolescent respondents aged 11-15 years in one of the junior high schools in Bandung City. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the five respondents were able to manage their emotions adaptively, but there were still respondents who did not understand much about the types of emotions and how to respond when others showed negative emotions. Art therapy groups were given and the results showed that there were respondents who felt suitable for art therapy done in groups, but there were also those who preferred to work alone because they felt more free to express themselves. There needs to be clear rules given before the activity and needs to be done on an ongoing basis so that art therapy groups can be felt the benefits

Abstract

This study aims to explore the potential of Tangerang City as a transit destination through the “Tangerang City Tour” package and its impact on improving the local economy. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The analysis results indicate that Tangerang City has significant potential to be developed as a transit tourism destination, thanks to its strategic location and the diversity of attractions it offers. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, insufficient promotion, and limited community capacity within the tourism industry must be addressed. Proposed recommendations include infrastructure development, more effective marketing strategies, and training for local businesses. With these steps, it is hoped that Tangerang City can enhance its tourism appeal and make a significant contribution to the local economy. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of more sustainable tourism policies in Tangerang City

Abstract

Intensive aquaculture requires strict water quality monitoring because fluctuations in parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia can cause stress and even mass mortality among farmed organisms. Accurate and timely monitoring is a critical operational requirement to ensure the sustainability and profitability of intensive aquaculture operations in meeting global demand for animal protein. This study aims to design, develop, and test a comprehensive, cost-effective IoT sensor system for real-time water quality monitoring in intensive aquaculture ponds. By integrating multi-parameter sensors into a platform connected to an automated aeration system, the system sends early warnings and action recommendations to farmers via a mobile app in areas with limited connectivity. The methodology employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), a systematic, explicit, and reproducible approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant empirical evidence from the scientific literature. The SLR produces a comprehensive and objective synthesis of research findings, minimizes bias, and provides an evidence-based foundation for decision-making, following a structured protocol for the critical evaluation of study quality and relevance. The discussion covers four categories: the basic implementation of an IoT system monitoring key parameters provides real-time data and early warnings to boost productivity at low cost—a game-changer that minimizes risks and reliance on manual labor; connectivity innovations using LoRa technology transmit sensor data without adequate WiFi or cellular infrastructure, eliminating adoption barriers for small-to-medium-scale farmers; commodity-specific parameter expansion using TDS and turbidity sensors achieving high accuracy with an error rate <0.5% for sensitive aquaculture such as shrimp farming; system integration and automated response demonstrating the integration of sensors with automatic feed-dispensing actuators to create a responsive and autonomous closed-loop system. This study concludes that IoT systems monitoring fundamental parameters such as temperature, pH, and DO are viable and provide significant benefits in the form of increased productivity through proactive management. LoRa technology successfully overcomes connectivity challenges in remote areas, expanding the scope of IoT applications. Monitoring specific parameters with high accuracy is key to cultivating sensitive commodities. The future of precision aquaculture lies in the integration of IoT monitoring with automated control to create a responsive and autonomous cultivation environment

Abstract

Adolescent obesity is a global health issue that requires serious attention. This study aims to describe the relationship between physical activity and dietary patterns and the prevalence of obesity among adolescents. The method used was a qualitative case study with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and anthropometric measurements. The results indicate that adolescents with low physical activity levels are more likely to be obese, while high-calorie, low-fiber diets also contribute to weight gain. The family environment, school, peers, and social media also play a significant role in shaping adolescents’ eating behaviors and physical activity. The conclusion of this study is that low physical activity and unhealthy dietary patterns are the primary risk factors for obesity in adolescents. Efforts to prevent obesity must involve increasing physical activity, promoting a balanced diet, providing nutrition education, and fostering a supportive environment

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a global health issue that requires effective glycemic control to prevent complications. This study aims to investigate the relationship between adherence to dietary patterns, physical activity, medication use, and HbA1c levels in T2DM patients aged 25–55 years. This study employs a case study approach with an observational design. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, medical records, and HbA1c laboratory tests. Key findings indicate that adherence to a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and taking antidiabetic medications as prescribed are significantly associated with lower HbA1c levels. Patients who are more compliant with these three aspects tend to have better glycemic control. The conclusion of this case study emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach involving lifestyle interventions and optimal medication management to achieve effective glycemic control in working-age T2DM patients. These findings support the need for ongoing education and adequate support for patients to improve their adherence to therapeutic recommendations
