Abstract

Bullying behavior is a widespread phenomenon, including in elementary schools. This behavior has serious implications that have a negative impact on the victim, perpetrator, and even the school environment. In this context, it is important to study bullying behavior in elementary schools and design prevention efforts. Researchers use a qualitative phenomenological approach to explore how this behavior occurs, then follow up by developing prevention efforts. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is checked for validity using triangulation techniques. The results of this research reveal that: first, there are several bullying behaviors that occur in elementary schools, namely: in the form of verbal and non-verbal bullying, verbally in the form of insulting peers based on the physical factors of friends who are different from other friends, calling friends by people's names. old and so on. Meanwhile, non-verbally in the form of pinching peers or cornering peers who are considered different. Second, efforts to overcome and prevent bullying behavior in elementary school students can be done by instilling character education values in the principles of Pancasila through learning, habituation, art, and giving awards by educators to students.

Abstract

Problems identified at MI Islamiyah Syafiiyah include limited learning media, especially the use of simple theme books and accompanying books, which causes low cognitive learning outcomes. This research aims to evaluate the use of the Manipulative Fraction Puzzle (Mapupec) educational tool in increasing students' cognitive learning achievement. The research method applied is Classroom Action Research (PTK) by implementing the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggar in two rounds of the cycle. Each cycle involves four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects consisted of 41 class IV students at MI Islamiyah Syafiiyah. Data was collected through test instruments, observation and documentation, with data analysis using a quantitative approach. The findings from the research indicate that the use of the Fraction Puzzle Manipulative educational tool (Mapupec) is able to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of class IV students at MI Islamiyah Syafiiyah. The evaluation value in cycle I showed an increase from 21.95% to 70.73%, while in cycle II, the results increased again to 85.37%. These findings conclude that the use of Fraction Puzzle Manipulative educational tools is not only a learning tool, but also an educational game that can stimulate the brain, hone the speed of thinking, and train coordination between the mind and hands.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide information to teachers about the important role of technology in mathematics education in elementary schools. Increasing teacher awareness of the importance of technology involvement in mathematics teaching in elementary schools is a solution suggested in this research. The method used in this research is the library research method. This strategy, known as library research methods, involves a series of actions related to collecting library data from books and the internet to answer the problem formulation that must be solved. Research findings show that using technology to learn mathematics has benefits. Students can use technology as a learning resource. By using technology, children can more easily understand abstract mathematical concepts by seeing them as concrete objects. Many timeless learning platforms and software are available to facilitate learning and replace the role of the instructor in the classroom. However, technology also has its drawbacks. For example, children can easily gain knowledge through the internet with hands-on solutions, and using technology can even make students less proficient in mathematics. Technology can improve learning activities if used appropriately.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of test equipment used in schools and the quality of the questions is unknown. Therefore, the assessment results may be false or not reflect the students’ true abilities. This research was conducted to analyze the questions used to measure the suitability of the questions and the level of difficulty of the questions for class V students in mathematics at Pekalongan Private Elementary Schools. The research method used is evaluation with a quantitative descriptive approach. The Rasch model is used to obtain fit test items. This analysis was carried out with the help of Winsteps software. From the output of the Winsteps program, the results obtained were 15 questions according to the Rasch model with an Outfit MNSQ value of 1.03. Meanwhile, the Outfit ZSTD value is 0.0. As well as the PT-measure Corr which has a positive value, there are 11 questions and 4 questions have a negative value. This means that there are 4 questions that do not fit the model. The results of the research show that the mathematics assessment questions can meet at least one of the three predetermined criteria and are in accordance with the fit characteristics. On the other hand, one question is considered easy based on the difficulty level of the question.

The learning of Akidah Akhlak aims to develop creeds through understanding and appreciating the material as well as students’ practice of Islamic creeds so that they become muslims who believe and are devoted to Allah SWT. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of implementing the group learning model in the Aqidah Akhlak subject in class V MI Ma’ahidul Huda Banjaran, Salem, Brebes Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by learning observations, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research show that the use of the group learning model in learning moral beliefs is able to increase the effectiveness of learning and form students’ thinking intelligence, group organizing skills, and noble character towards others. Factors that support learning include teacher professionalism, support from the school principal, and good cooperation between teachers and students. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the teacher’s readiness in compiling certain material that is not well understood by students, students who are hyperactive so that it disturbs the concentration of other students, and students who are less active in learning.

This relevance is related to the dimensions of P5-PPRA such as; Be civilized (ta’addub); b) Exemplary (qudwah); c) Citizenship and nationality (muwatanah); d) Taking the middle path (tawassut); e) Balanced (tawazun); f) Straight and firm (I’tidal); g) Equality (musawah); h) Deliberation (shura); i) Tolerance (tasamuh); j) Dynamic and innovative (tatawwur wa ibtikar). From these dimensions, it can be seen that P5-PPRA links Pancasila values with moral cultivation.
