Show Abstract | Download Original | Original Source | Check in Google Scholar | DOI: 10.58812/wsbm.v3i03.2241

Abstract

This study examines the influence of accounting competencies, information systems, and compliance on the quality of financial reporting in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with accountability as a mediating factor. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 130 MSME respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5). The analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that accounting competencies, compliance, and information systems each have a significant positive effect on financial reporting quality. Compliance emerged as the strongest predictor, emphasizing the importance of adhering to regulations and standards in enhancing reporting credibility. Furthermore, the combined effect of these factors explained 71.8% of the variance in financial reporting quality, underscoring the integrated role of human resources, institutional legitimacy, and technological adoption. This study contributes both theoretically and practically by providing insights into strengthening MSME financial governance through improved competencies, compliance culture, and digital system utilization.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of public administration research using data retrieved from the Scopus database and visualized through VOSviewer. The objective is to map the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and global collaboration patterns in the field from 2000 to 2024. The analysis includes co-authorship, keyword co-occurrence, temporal overlay, and density visualizations to identify the most influential authors, institutions, countries, and research topics. The findings reveal that while traditional themes such as bureaucracy, public policy, and administrative reform remain central, there has been a notable shift toward contemporary topics such as e-government, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. The United States emerges as the leading contributor in terms of publication volume and collaborative influence. The study offers practical insights for researchers, policymakers, and academic institutions, while also contributing theoretically by highlighting the evolution and diversification of public administration as a multidisciplinary field. Despite limitations related to database scope and keyword standardization, this research provides a valuable foundation for guiding future studies and strengthening strategic collaboration in the discipline.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric review and author network analysis of scholarly literature on financial management within the context of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Utilizing data from the Scopus database and VOSviewer software, the analysis maps the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaborative patterns of publications from 2000 to 2025. The findings reveal that core concepts such as sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ESG performance, and financial performance dominate the research landscape. Emerging themes, including green finance, climate risk, and stakeholder engagement, indicate a growing interdisciplinary interest and the expansion of ESG-related financial strategies. Author and institutional co-authorship networks highlight fragmented yet globally distributed collaboration, with China, the United States, and the United Kingdom playing central roles in knowledge production. This study provides critical insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers, while also identifying theoretical gaps and future research directions in the integration of ESG into financial management practices.

Abstract

This study explores the evolving intersection between cryptocurrency and behavioral finance through a scientometric approach using co-word analysis. By analyzing publications indexed in the Scopus database from 2010 to 2025, the study identifies dominant research themes, intellectual structures, and emerging trends within this interdisciplinary field. The analysis reveals that early research focused heavily on investor sentiment, market efficiency, and behavioral biases related to bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading. Over time, the literature has expanded to include advanced methodologies such as machine learning, sentiment analysis, and portfolio optimization, highlighting a growing convergence between behavioral theories and data-driven techniques. Furthermore, the study maps global collaboration patterns among authors, institutions, and countries, showing that knowledge production is increasingly international and interdisciplinary. The findings provide valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers by highlighting key research clusters, practical implications, and future directions in the study of digital financial behavior. This work contributes to the theoretical integration of behavioral finance and crypto-asset studies and lays the groundwork for more nuanced, data-informed behavioral research in digital markets.

Abstract

This study explores the intellectual terrain of general management research using bibliometric research and visualization techniques with VOSviewer. Drawing on data obtained from the Scopus database between 2000 and 2025, examination graphed co-citation, co-authorship, and keyword co-occurrence networks to unveil the topical structure of the field. The results indicate that the concept of the general manager serves as the hub node linking multifarious clusters of research, ranging from leadership and strategic management to talent management and career development, sustainability, and employee job satisfaction. The visualization reflects both the continuity of traditional concerns—leadership development, globalization, and strategic direction—and the aggregation of new ones like competencies, sustainability, and organizational well-being. These findings bear witness to the multidisciplinary nature of management scholarship, bridging human capital, strategic leadership, and global responsibility. The book enhances management literature through the presentation of an replicable and systematic intellectual mapping of the domain, which will serve as a valuable handbook for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to harmonize their agendas with evolving knowledge patterns.

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has emerged as a strategic cornerstone for modern retail, driven by the dual forces of customer-centric business models and digital transformation. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to map the intellectual structure, research trends, and thematic evolution of CRM in the retail sector. Using the Scopus database, publications from 2000 to 2025 were retrieved and analyzed with VOSviewer, producing co-authorship, co-citation, and keyword co-occurrence visualizations. The findings reveal that traditional themes such as customer satisfaction, loyalty, and public relations remain central to CRM research, while newer areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, and e-commerce have emerged as critical enablers of CRM innovation. The analysis further highlights the dominance of the United States, the United Kingdom, and India as major contributors, alongside strong collaborations across Europe and Asia. Theoretically, this study consolidates fragmented insights across marketing, management, and information systems, situating CRM within the broader paradigm of digital business ecosystems. Practically, it provides retailers with guidance on aligning relationship-building strategies with data-driven technologies to achieve competitive advantage. While limited by database coverage and language scope, the study offers valuable directions for future research, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of advanced analytics into CRM practices.

Abstract

Employee innovation has become an increasingly critical topic in organizational and management studies, as firms rely on the creative and proactive behaviors of their workforce to remain competitive in dynamic environments. Despite growing scholarly attention, the literature on employee innovation remains fragmented across constructs such as innovative work behavior, employee creativity, and employee-driven innovation. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of publications indexed in Scopus between 2000 and 2025 to systematically map the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaboration networks in this field. Using performance analysis and science mapping techniques with VOSviewer, the study identifies leadership, human resource management, and innovation performance as dominant research anchors, while recent trends highlight the emergence of inclusive leadership, sustainability, and psychological enablers such as self-efficacy. The collaboration networks reveal China and the United States as central hubs, with increasing contributions from Asian and European countries. The findings underscore both the maturity of core themes and the presence of underexplored areas, including employee-driven innovation and digital transformation contexts. This study contributes by clarifying research fragmentation, proposing the integration of dispersed strands into more holistic theoretical frameworks, and offering practical insights for organizations seeking to foster inclusive, sustainable, and innovation-driven work environments.
