Abstract

Health care is an essential factor in improving the health and welfare era at every insane worldwide. Patient satisfaction is a crucial problem for health care providers. This is the word-of-mouth promotion for prospective patients to expect more favorable for the operation of hospitals. This study aims to determine the patient satisfaction of BPJS participants and the general patient satisfaction in service pharmacy prescriptions in the outpatient RSU Lirboyo Kediri. The samples in this study were selected patients with the accidental sampling method as many as 85 patients and 85 patients BPJS general. The analysis was done using a questionnaire RATER method using gap test, customer window, and test independent sample t-test. The quality of pharmaceutical services that in terms of the average value of five dimensions of reliability, collateral, direct evidence, empathy, and responsiveness to patient BPJS negative gap values obtained for -0012 with patient satisfaction is less satisfied. In terms of the average value of five dimensions of reliability, guarantees, direct evidence, empathy, and responsiveness to public patients, the quality of pharmaceutical services obtained a positive gap value of 0.032 with a satisfying degree of satisfaction. Test results Independent sample t- test available significant value of 0.620> 0.05. Thus, it can be said that satisfaction outpatients and patients BPJS general users significantly no difference.

Abstract

Obesity prevalence has increased in recent years and has caused severe health problems. This research was carried out to obtain alternative antiobesity therapy with more minimal side effects. The antiobesity activity of rose apple (Syzygium Jambos (L.) Alston) leaves on female Wistar rats induced by high carbohydrate food for 45 days and subcutaneously injecting MSG 2 g/kg BW. Extraction was carried out using the maceration method 96% ethanol. The test parameters observed were body weight, food intake, stool consistency and weight, liver and abdominal fat tissue weight. The results showed that high carbohydrate food and monosodium glutamate could induce obesity. Ethanol extract of rose apple leaves at doses of 25, 50, and 100 mg/kg BW body weight had antiobesity activity by inhibiting body weight gain significantly compared to a positive control group (p<0.05). The highest antiobesity effect was shown by the ethanol extract of rose apple leaves at doses of 50 mg/kg BW with % inhibition of body weight gain of 169.3% to a positive control group. Ethanol extract of rose apple leaves may reduce appetite but didn’t have a laxative effect and couldn’t reduce fat deposits in the liver and abdominal fat tissue.

Abstract

A thin-layer chromatography (TLC) Densitometric method for analyzing acrylamide in fried sweet potatoes is not reported before. The research aims to determine the development of acrylamide validation and acrylamide concentration in fried sweet potatoes. The retardation factor for evaluating acrylamide uses silica gel column 254 with range 0.4-0.5 and eluate by methanol: benzene (2:1) was analyzed in a maximum wavelength of 200 nm. Linear response of acrylamide standard was tested within a 120-300 ppm concentration range, and the correlation coefficient (r) more remarkable than 0,99, detection limit 17.45 ppm and quantitative limit 52.36 ppm. Sample preparation was performed by ethanol 70%. The precision resulted from 2,67%, and this result was less than 16% (literature). Percentage of recoveries 98,18 %, and in the literature, 98%-102%. The TLC densitometric method is selective, precise, and accurate. Finally, the research showed that fried sweet potatoes contain acrylamide less than 230,32 ng samples, so the selection is very safe to consume.

Abstract

Jatropha multifida L. is a plant that has many medicinal properties. The active compounds of this plant include tannins, saponins, flavonoids, and phenols. However, the content of active compounds and the quality of extracts of a medicinal plant cannot be guaranteed to be in the same amount, and this is due to the influence of different growing sites. Therefore it is essential to do standardization. This study aims to characterize iodine leaf extracts from the cities of Kediri, Nganjuk, and Madiun. Specific parameter tests include the section's identity, organoleptic, content of soluble compounds in water and ethanol 96%, and screening for phytochemical flavonoids, tannin alkaloids, and saponins. This study can be concluded that extracts from Kediri, Nganjuk, and Madiun have a thick extract form with a blackish-brown color and have a distinctive odor and bitter taste. Based on phytochemical screening, all extracts contain alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins. Furthermore, the test levels of soluble compounds in ethanol 96% from Kediri, Nganjuk, and Madiun were 74; 77.70; 73.52%, and the class of soluble compounds in water were 40.90; 31,78, 41.87%.
