Abstract

The two stay two stray cooperative learning model basically emphasizes students to work together in groups, and provides opportunities for groups to share the results and information obtained with other groups, so that the learning process will be student-centered. This study aims to achieve optimum student learning activities through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model in learning the concepts of alpha, beta and gamma rays, and to describe the student's response to the TSTS cooperative learning that has been implemented. The method used is quantitative with the pre-experimental research model type one shot case study. A total of 26 students taking radiochemistry courses were the subjects of this study. Research data were collected through student activity observation sheets during lectures and a student response questionnaire consisting of 10 statements. The results of observations on student activities show that the aspect of explaining in the lecture material, the aspect of cooperation between colleagues, and the activity of answering questions, respectively, have a value of 86, 85 and 90 percent. In general, students' positive responses to the application of the TSTS model were 95%. From the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of TSTS is very effective in increasing student learning activities, making students happy in learning, and fostering self-confidence in learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe research, entitled “The Effect of Using Prezi Desktop Learning Media on Students Learning Outcomes on Intermolecular Force Material”, was conducted in class X IPA MAS Ulumul Qur’an Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this study was to analyze the affect of using Prezi learning media on learning outcomes, describe student learning activities and analyze student responses to Prezi learning media applied to intermolecular forces material. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. The research instrument used in the form of test questions, student activity observation sheets and student response questionnaire sheets. Data analysis using t-test obtained t-count results were greater than t-table using a significant level of 0,05, namely 2,692 1,671, which means accepting Ha. The results of student activity observations obtained from student activity sheets in the experimental class of yhe first meeting were 81,77% in the active category and 96,59 in the very active category at the second meeting. Students responses to the use of Prezi media on is said to very good, with a percentage of 89,9%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materihidrokarbon melalui penggunaan pengembangan bahan ajar modul. Pengembangan modul menggunakan modelHannafin and Peck yang terdiri atas tiga fase, yaitu fase analisis keperluan, desain,serta pengembangan danimplementasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel diambil secara acak dan terbagi dalam kelaskontrol dan eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas X SMA Negeri 11 Banda Aceh tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Pengumpulan data untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dilakukanmelalui tes awal dan tes akhir pada kedua kelas, dan untuk mengetahui tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadappenggunaan modul sebagai bahan ajar pada materi hidrokarbon digunakan angket. Pengolahan data dilakukan melaluibeberapa tahapan, diantaranya validitas, reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan daya beda untuk instrumen yang akandigunakan dalam penelitian. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar kognitifsiswa dilakukan perhitungan N-gain dari hasil tes awal dan tes akhir siswa. Uji hipotesis menggunakan beberapapengujian, diantaranya uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji kesamaan dua rerata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapatdisimpulkan bahwa penggunaan modul hidrokarbon dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan hasil belajar kognitifsiswa. Di samping itu, guru dan siswa sangat setuju terhadap penggunaan modul tersebut.

Abstract

Learning curriculum in a vocational school combines the adaptive, normative and productive subject group. The adaptive, normative and productive subject groups are expected to be mutually supportive and complementary, in fact the group of subjects did not support each other. The purpose of this study is to develop a learning module for productive subject package (composting techniques) which is integrated by the concept of chemistry as one of the adaptive subjects in vocational school, another purpose of this study is to collect the responses of teachers and students on the module, the module quality assessment by experts, assessment of the portion of chemical concepts that integrated in the module by specialists and module effectivity test. The development of module is using the one of instructional development model in teaching materials development known as ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The results showed that 92% of teachers responded positively to the module, 85% of students responded positively . While the negative resposes from teacher wes 8% and 15% for student responses. The module quality assessment indicate score 3.36 which the criteria "good" and the expert assessment of chemical concepts are integrated in the module is 70% - 80%. The effectivity of module using student test results indicate the average grades is 92 which criteria "very good". The results suggest that the effectivity of the module is very good for learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, to analyze the feasibility, and to describe students' responses to the video tutorial learning media using the Sony Vegas Pro 13 software on palm oil waste processing material in the Craft material d. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development / RD). The video tutorial learning media developed in this study is the ADDIE model which has five stages, namely, (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development (4) Implementation and (5 ) Evaluation. Data collection was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Sampoiniet with 20 students taken from class X. The feasibility of video tutorial media was assessed by Experts at 93.18% and student responses to the video tutorial media developed were 91.8% each with a very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the video tutorial media developed is very suitable for use in the learning process of waste treatment materials.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the activities and responses of students to the RTE learning model on the concept of molecular geometry and to analyze the completeness of student learning outcomes. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The sample used in this study was class X MIA-2 MAN 6 Aceh Besar for the 2019/2020 school year. Data were collected by observing student activities, learning outcomes tests and questionnaire responses. The results of observing student activities for three meetings 1,2 and 3 respectively were 86%, 89.25% and 95%. The learning outcomes of students in class X MIA-2 MAN 6 Aceh Besar with the application of the RTE learning model on the molecular form material can be categorized as good, with the percentage of students who complete the completeness of 79.2%. 99.3% of students responded positively to the application of the RTE model.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Kimia di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) DarussalamKabupaten Aceh Besar Melalui Implementasi Lesson Study” bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas pembelajaran kimiadi MAN Darussalam melalui implementasi Lesson Study, sebagai jawaban atas permasalahan bagaimanakahkualitas pembelajaran kimia di MAN Darussalam melalui implementasi Lesson Study. Peningkatan kualitaspembelajaran melalui Lesson Study dapat diketahui melalui beberapa indikator, diantaranya perencanaan (plan)pembelajaran secara kolegalitas/tim, pelaksanaan (do) oleh guru model melalui open lesson, dan refleksi (see) yangberkualitas, serta aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi danmengedarkan angket kepada enam responden, yang terdiri dari dua orang praktikan PPL PPG SM-3T, guru pamong,dosen pembimbing, dan dua orang guru kimia yang terlibat dalam observasi open lesson. Data yang terkumpuldianalisis dengan teknik persentase berdasarkan perhitungan skor yang diberikan responden dibandingkan denganskor maskimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran kimia di MAN Darussalam sangat baik,yaitu dengan persentase sebesar 95,83%.

Abstract

The research about Application Problem Solving Approach to content colligative properties of solution in MAN Model Banda Aceh aims to determine student learning yield, student activities, and student responses after given problem solving approach used in learning. The subjects of the research were 32 students of class XII-IA2 MAN Model Banda Aceh in academic year 2012/2013, with heterogenous acchivement. Data collection was conducted through written tests and observations. Based on objective tests given after the study ended, student learning yield was obtained very good with the level of completeness of 96.67%. Activity of student suggests that a good percentage of the activity (79.82%). The response of students to the problem solving approach learning shows that students gave a positive response is very good (91.52%). Thus, it is conclused that applying of problem solving approach to the material colligative properties of solution can increase student learning yield, activities, and student motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a video of nutmeg oil distillation as an alternative material for craft and entrepreneurship subjects for class XI SMA N 1 Pasie Raja. This study  is research and development (RD) with the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The videos that have been successfully made have gone through the ADDIE stage, namely validation by media experts and material experts with an average score of 88.9% and 88.5%, respectively, so that the material and media aspects are categorized as very good. The learning video is applied in the classroom by showing it; teachers and students gave positive responses of 100% and 88.14%, both of which were categorized as very good. The score of students' understanding of the learning video media obtained an average percentage of 79.47% and was categorized as good. Video learning of nutmeg oil refining is appropriate to be used as a medium of learning in the subjects of crafts and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

It has been conducted a research entitled "enforcement analysis of the works in chemistry studies at Banda Aceh high school." The purpose of this study is to analyse the practice of chemistry studies in all high schools in Banda Aceh. The kind of research used was descriptive research with a survey approach. This research was conducted at high school in Banda Aceh. The reasons for the selection of a research facility, based on observations of high school researchers in the city of Banda Aceh is still lack of practical activities. The population in this study are all the teachers of chemistry in Banda Aceh high school of 78 people. The sample used in this study is twenty five of chemistry teachers. The selection of samples is conducted in a random sampling way by the researchers' consideration that the sample was considered homogeneous since high school at Banda Aceh was accredited to A. Data collection techniques were carried out by a wider distribution of questionnaires. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on research done on the implementation of the practice in chemistry  at the high school of Banda Aceh, it could be concluded that the performance of the law in chemical study at the city high school of BandaAceh was perfectly great with an average percentage of what obtained was 88%.
