Education has a very important role in the development of Indonesian people as a whole. Based on this, it is necessary to develop various sciences in order to improve the quality of learning and intelligence for a nation. Therefore a research has been conducted entitled Perceptions of Chemistry Teachers Against Science Literacy. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of chemistry subject teachers on scientific literacy in several high schools in Aceh. The sample of this research is chemistry subject teachers in Aceh. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is in the form of an online questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in this study, of the 26 chemistry teachers who filled out a questionnaire, the majority of chemistry teachers had applied scientific literacy to the teaching and learning process after the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Before the implementation of the 2013 curriculum teachers still often used direct learning. /lecture. Teachers in several areas in Aceh strongly support the application of scientific literacy in chemistry learning. Teachers are eager to take part in the training on scientific literacy that will be held. Professional Learning Community (MGMP) strongly supports the implementation of scientific literacy, especially chemistry lessons.

Synthesis of 1,4-Benzodiazepine via reaction of ethylendiamine with 3-phenyl-1,2-dioxine has been carried out. The first step of this experiment was conversion of triphenyl phosphine to triphenyl metyl phosphine iodide which was then used to form phenyl butadiene from cinnamaldehyde. The synthesis of phenyl dioxine was done via photochemical reaction of phenyl butadiene with oxygen gas in the presence of tetraphenyl posphene. The coupling reaction between phenyl phosphine and ethylendiamine was carried out under atmospheric pressure at room temperature. All steps of these reactions were confirmed using TLC with appropriate eluents and the resulting compounds were purified using column chromatography. In addition, all products structure including phenyl dioxine and 1,4-benzodiazepine were determined using HNMR.

This study aims to determine the level of students' understanding of each indicator of the buffer solution material and to determine the most difficult indicator in understanding the buffer solution material using the Four-Tier Multiple Choice diagnostic test. This type of research uses a descriptive type of research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Madrasah Aliyyah Swasta Darul Ihsan as many as 15 students who were selected using the simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was the Four-Tier Multiple Choice diagnostic test instrument sheet and student interview sheets. The results of this study showed that the average percentage of students who understood the concept was 32.3%, did not understand the concept was 38.1%, misconception was 20.6% and the error was 9%. Based on this research, it was found that the most difficult indicator to understand is the indicator to determine the relationship between the buffer solution and the concept of chemical equation and the indicator to calculate the pH of the acid buffer solution. So it can be concluded that the students of class XI Madrasah Aliyyah Private Darul Ihsan have difficulty in understanding the material of the buffer solution.

This study aims to develop a bulletin on petroleum material and analyze the feasibility and describe the teacher's response to the bulletin learning media on petroleum material. The research method used is research and development (research and development) with the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection was carried out online by distributing a google form questionnaire through the WhatsApp Messenger messaging application to 27 chemistry teachers who teach at the Senior High School (SLTA) of South Aceh Regency. The feasibility of the bulletin media was assessed by two media validators with a percentage of 91.66% with very decent criteria. The percentage of teacher responses to the bulletin media that was developed was 97.94% with a very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the bulletin media developed is suitable for use in the petroleum learning process.

This study aims to describe the STEM approach to improve student learning outcomes in Voltaic Cell learning which was carried out in the form of action research. The research subjects were 27 students in class XII MIPA SMAN 2 Takengon, Central Aceh. The research data was obtained from the competency test at the end of each cycle. Study result data were analyzed using statistical tests (data normality test, Kolmogorov Smirnov), and comparative tests. The results of the student competency test showed that the increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle was better when compared to the previous year's learning outcomes. The test results of the second cycle experienced an increase of 6% when compared to cycle 1. The normality test showed that the data was not normal, so the comparison of the two cycles was tested using nonparametric statistics using the Mann-Witney test. The test results showed that the learning outcomes of students in cycles one and two were significantly different with a significance of 0.003 (P0.05). So it can be concluded that the application of STEM-based learning has been able to improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Takengon on the Voltaic Cell concept.

Kajian terhadap materi muatan lokal yang berbasis life skill serta modulnya yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan sesuaidengan daerah kepulauan terutama untuk siswa SMAN 1 Pulo Aceh telah dilakukan. Data dikumpulkan melaluiobservasi langsung, angket, wawancara dan FGD untuk mengumpulkan segala informasi yang dibutuhkan untukmenyusun modul pembelajaran muatan lokal yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi daerah Pulo Acehadalah pertanian dan perikanan sedangkan pekerjaan yang diminati oleh mayoritas siswa SMA adalah wirausaha.Muatan muatan lokal yang dipilih oleh mayoritas guru, siswa dan masyarakat adalah penyulingan minyak cengkeh,penyulingangn nilam, holtikultura dan pengasapan ikan. Modul yang dibuat sesuai dengan data penelitian iniditanggapi dengan skor mayoritas baik dan sangat baik pada setiap indikator kualitas modul oleh pakar dari fakultaspertanian. Alat pengasapan ikan telah berhasil dibuat dan telah dibuktikan dapat digunakan dengan baik. Sebanyak93% dari 14 orang guru sebagai responden terhadap modul pelajaran muatan lokal setuju bahwa modul mulok yangtelah dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah menarik, dapat menjadi bagian dari pelajaran mulok, dapat menginspirasiberwirausaha dan hidup mandiri, dapat diterapkan baik di sekolah maupun di tengah masyarakat. Mayoritas (60-100%) frekuensi respon dari siswa menilai bahwa modul pembelajaran mulok bermanfaat bagi mereka danmerekomendasi untuk diterapkan di sekolah.

Telah dilaksanakan penelitian tentang ”Penerapan Pendekatan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) pada materi Koloid di MAN Kuta Baro Aceh Besar Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan tanggapan siswa terhadap pendekatan STM. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI-IA1 yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, tes tertulis, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran dimana aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 68,1% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 77,9% pada pertemuan kedua. Siswa senang belajar materi koloid dengan menggunakan pendekatan STM sehingga hasil belajar siswa tuntas pada dua pertemuan dengan persentase secara klasikal 75% pada tes pertemuan pertama dan 85% tes pertemuan kedua. Persentase siswa yang memberikan tanggapan positif pada penerapan pendekatan STM sebesar 85% sedangkan 15% siswa memberikan tanggapan negatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas siswa meningkat, hasil belajar siswa tuntas secara klasikal dan siswa memberi tanggapan positif terhadap penerapan pendekatan STM pada materi koloid.

Research has been conducted on "the development of multiple choice questions based on scientific literacy on the concept of mole material". The purpose of this study was to find out how to develop questions based on scientific literacy on the concept of the mole, how to test the validity, reliability of questions based on scientific literacy and how students respond / respond to multiple choice questions based on scientific literacy. The type of research used is research and development (R D) with a 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The target subjects in this study are Chemistry FKIP students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and test results. The research instrument used was an interview sheet, a questionnaire sheet and a multiple choice question sheet based on scientific literacy with a total of 20 questions that had been validated by 2 validators. The results of qualitative data validity analysis from the validation of the items, the percentage of each was above 80% with very high criteria and declared valid and the questions were feasible to use. While the quantitative data validity analysis the resulting percentage as a whole is 65% low category, 25% moderate category and 10% high category with a reliability coefficient value of 0.828 including very high and reliable categories. The results of the analysis of the responses obtained an average value of 78, meaning that the 30 students were more dominant in giving a positive response to the questions.

This study aims to analyze the potential of krueng brayeuen as a raw source of drinking water for the city of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar district. Data was collected through document analysis and analysis of water samples taken from 5 different points in the Krueng Brayeuen watershed. Water quality analysis includes metal content of Fe, Mn, ammonia content, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), and organic matter content. While other qualities include color, odor, taste, chlorine content, and others. The results showed that the water discharge of krueng brayeuen every year showed a promising value to be used as a source of raw water. The results of the water quality test showed that the water in Krueng Brayeuen was tasteless, colorless and odorless. Testing of all other water parameters such as iron content, Mn content, ammonia content and organic matter content met the drinking water standards in general where the levels were still below the threshold set by PP. 22/2021. Based on the results of the analysis of water quality and contamination, it can be concluded that krueng brayeuen water is very suitable to be used as a raw source of drinking water

This study aims to develop intertextual-based learning strategies using visualization models to improve students' spatial abilities on molecular geometry concepts. In this study using the method of Research and Development (R and D). The research subjects used were 20 high school 10th grade students. In this study the instrument used was in the form of an intertextual-based learning strategy validation sheet with visualization models, 3D visualization software, and spatial ability tests. Spatial ability consists of three indicators to be evaluated, namely spatial relations, spatial orientation, and spatial visualization. The results of intertextual-based learning strategy research with developed visualization models can improve spatial ability. Students can understand molecular geometry from the concept of VSEPR theory and valence bond theory. Results pre-test student on the spatial relations (26.67 percent), spatial orientation (10.10 percent), and spatial visualization (7.41 percent). After being tested intertextual-based learning strategies with visualization models of students' post-test results on the spatial relations (58.33 percent), spatial orientation (50.00 percent), and spatial visualization (27.78 percent).
