Abstract

This study aims to find out what influences the capital structure in the 3 (three) largest Sharia Banks in Indonesia, namely Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM), Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah, Bank of the Republic of Indonesia Sharia (BRIS). This study examines the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Financing Deposite Ratio (FDR) on KPMM. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the quarterly financial statements of the Islamic Bank for 7 years, namely from 2013-2017. The analysis technique used in this study is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of this study prove that Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Financing Deposite Ratio (FDR) affect KPMM together. While partially Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) affect KPMM, but FDR has no effect on KPMM

Abstract

Food and Beverage Industries is strategic sector, seen from the largest increase in realization of the 5 other industrial sectors. The mushrooming of Food Companies and the collapse of several food industries was both a challenge and a threat for the industry. Nyonya Meneer, a herbal medicine factory which was successful in its time was declared bankrupt in August 2017. This supports the research objective of analyzing the possible bankruptcy of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 using the Springate Model and the Zmijewski Model. By using purposive sampling, obtained thirteen Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2018 period. Data collection techniques used were documentation and analyzed with quantitative and qualitative descriptive. According to the Zmijewski method calculation, only one company is predicted to go bankrupt, namely PSDN. Meanwhile, according to the Springate model there are 5 companies that are predicted to go bankrupt namely ALTO, INDF, PSDN, ROTI and SKBM. While the accuracy test shows that the Zmijewski model has a higher accuracy rate than the Springate Model which is 92.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of financial literacy and self-control on financial management behavior conducted a survey of elementary school teacher educators in Kuningan District. The study population was 56 people. The method of determining the sample using a saturation sampling method with a sample followed the population as much as a total sample of 56 people. The data analysis technique using regression analysis. Based on the results of the study stated that Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior and self-control has a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior.

Abstract

The main firm’s goal according to theory of the firm is to increase owners’ by increasing theperformance of profit. The performance of profit the firm can be influenced by many factors,among them research and development intensity and advertising intensity. The purpose ofthis study was to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of R&D and advertising expense toto performance of profit. The population used in this study is manufacture company inIndonesian stock exchange during the period 2016-2018. The sampling technique usingpurposive sampling method and obtained sample 48 of manufacture company. The methodused is quantitative research method. For the method of data analysis using multiple linearregression analysis. As for data processing using IBM SPSS 23.0 The results showed R&Dexpense didnt have affect on performance of profit. Abstract

Assets Ratio to Return On Assets in automotive companies listed on the IDX for the period 2013 - 2017. The independent variables in this research are Current Ratio (CR) and Debt To Assets Ratio (DAR) and the dependent variable is Return On Assets (ROA). The object of this study is an automotive company listed on the IDX. The approach in this study uses an associative approach. The data collection technique used is secondary data obtained or collected in the form of documentation data published by the IDX, namely the company's financial statements, namely the company's ROA from the 2013 - 2017 period which tends to decline. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, t-test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. Based on the F statistical test, it was found that the variables Current Ratio and Debt to Assets Ratio had no significant effect on Return On Assets in automotive companies listed on the IDX.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR) partially and simultaneously on Return On Assets (ROA) in hotel, restaurant, and tourism companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The sample used in this study amounted to 8 out of 10 companies in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism sub-sector listed on the IDX in the period 2014 - 2017. The sample selection used a purposive sampling technique, in which the researcher set specific provisions tailored to the research objectives. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, t-test, F test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the simultaneous test, it was found that the variables Current Ratio and Debt to Assets Ratio had a significant effect on Return On Assets in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism sub-sector companies listed on the IDX.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of current ratio on capital structure (DAR) and return on assets on capital structure (DAR) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Population and samples used in this study were 8 advertising, media, and printing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2011-2015 period. The sample used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially the influence of the current ratio on capital structure (DAR) with a sig value of 0.076, there was an effect of return on assets on capital structure (DAR) with a sig value of 0.025. The simultaneous results show that the current ratio and return on assets influence the capital structure with a sig value of 0.011. The amount of the coefficient of determination (R-Square) is 0.956. This shows that 95.6% of the dependent variable, namely capital structure (DAR), can be explained by the independent variables, namely Current Ratio and Return On Assets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors which influenced the tax aggressiveness. Liquidity, Leverage, Profitability, Capital Intensity, and Inventory Intensity are the independence variable that be used in this research. This research use statistical Eviews. The result shows the factors affect the tax aggressiveness significantly are Leverage. Furthermore, Liquidity, Profitability, Capital Intensity and Inventory Intensity have not significant influence toward tax aggressiveness.

Abstract

This research is intended to discover the impact of event marketing and store atmosphere on visitor’s intention to revisit Ciputra World Surabaya, due to the significancy problem on its lack of repeat visits. Researchers feel it is important to use event marketing and store atmosphere as determining variables for revisit intention apart from being supported by previous research, the pre-survey results also strengthen the writer's understanding. This research used a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling method. The number of research samples are visitors of Ciputra World Surabaya with the quantity of 100. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The method of collecting data uses a questionnaire which is measured by a Likert scale and processed using SPSS. The independent variable in this reserach is event marketing and store atmosphere. The dependent variable in this research is the visitor’s intention to revisit. The results of this research indicates that event marketing and store atmosphere variables have a significant impact on revisit intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of a sector's Financial Distress using the Altman Z-Score method on stock returns. The independent variables used in this study are Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA), Retained Earning to Total Assets (RETA), Earning before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (EBITTA), Market Value of Equity to Book Value of Total Liabilities (MVEBTL), Sales to Total Assets (STA) and Altman Z-Score. While the dependent variable in this study is stock returns. The data collection method in this study used purposive sampling on coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2017 period. The total sample used in this study were 18 coal companies. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using the t test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that WCTA, EBITTA, MVEBTL, STA, and the Altman Z-Score Category had a positive effect on stock returns, while RETA had a negative effect on stock returns.
