Abstract

Business rivalry compels business owners to continuously seek effective strategies to maintain their market position. This challenge is also faced by Rumah Kepiting Sari, which strives to survive amidst competition by leveraging brand trust and price differentiation. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of brand trust and price on consumer purchasing decisions. The research employs a quantitative approach using a non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who had made a purchase decision at Rumah Kepiting Sari. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that the brand trust variable has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, whereas the price variable does not significantly influence consumer purchasing behavior. However, when considered simultaneously, brand trust and price together have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) obtained in this study is 0.397, indicating that 39.7% of the variance in purchasing decisions can be explained by brand trust and price, while the remaining 60.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. These results suggest that building and maintaining consumer trust in the brand is more impactful in influencing purchasing behavior compared to price considerations. Therefore, it is recommended that Rumah Kepiting Sari continues to enhance brand trust through consistent service quality, product reliability, and strong customer engagement, while also evaluating pricing strategies to remain competitive. Strengthening these aspects will contribute to long-term customer loyalty and sustainability in a competitive business environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the growth rate and effectiveness of motor vehicle testing levy revenues at the Malang Regency Transportation Agency during the period 2020 to 2024. The approach used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of secondary documentation and direct interviews with related parties. The results of the study show that the average growth rate of levy revenues reached 6.83%, which is included in the positive growth category and is classified as "prime" and "developing" based on the regional levy potential matrix. This finding indicates that the motor vehicle testing levy sector is one of the important pillars in supporting Regional Original Income (PAD). However, the effectiveness of its receipts has fluctuated quite significantly, especially in 2023 and 2024 which only recorded an effectiveness of 22%. This sharp decline indicates an imbalance between the targets set and the realization of achievements in the field. Factors such as inaccurate target estimates, regulatory changes, and decreased activity after the pandemic can be the main causes. Therefore, policy evaluation and adjustment of planning strategies are needed so that levy revenues can continue to be increased sustainably and optimally.

Abstract

Consumer behavior has evolved significantly, especially in the way consumers choose products to purchase. Social media platforms like Instagram, along with factors such as location and ease of transactions, have become crucial in influencing purchasing decisions. This study explores the impact of Instagram, location, and the convenience of QRIS transactions on consumer purchasing decisions at Cafe & Warteg Temu Legi in Sragen. The study used a quantitative survey method, distributing questionnaires to 100 participants to gather data. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the strength and significance of these variables on consumer behavior. The findings reveal that both Instagram and the location of the cafe have a significant effect on purchasing decisions, highlighting the role of social media and physical store proximity in shaping consumer choices. However, the ease of using QRIS for transactions did not show a significant impact on the purchasing decision, suggesting that while convenience in payment methods is important, other factors such as brand presence and location may play a larger role. This research provides valuable insights for businesses looking to optimize their marketing strategies and improve customer engagement in a rapidly changing retail landscape.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how work environment, motivation, and job satisfaction influence the discipline of employees at J&T Express Nusukan, Surakarta. This research employed a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, involving seventy respondents. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review, and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that motivation has a significant effect on work discipline, while work environment and job satisfaction show no significant influence. Simultaneously, the three variables contribute 54% to work discipline, while the remaining percentage is explained by other factors not included in this study. The findings suggest that improving employee motivation can positively affect work discipline. However, work environment and job satisfaction alone are not sufficient to enhance discipline, indicating that other factors, potentially related to organizational culture, leadership, or personal characteristics, may also play a significant role. This study contributes to understanding the importance of motivation in fostering employee discipline and provides valuable insights for organizations aiming to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Although fashion SMEs in Surakarta play an important role in the local economy, they still face challenges in financial management and sustainability. This study examines the effects of financial literacy, working capital, and digital innovation on sustainable financial performance. Survey data from 100 respondents were analyzed using multiple regression. The results show that financial literacy and digital innovation significantly influence sustainable financial performance, while working capital does not. These findings emphasize the importance of improving financial literacy and digital adoption to support SME sustainability. Enhancing financial literacy equips SME owners with the necessary skills to make informed financial decisions, while digital innovation allows them to streamline operations and reach a broader market. The lack of significant impact from working capital suggests that factors beyond financial resources, such as knowledge and technology, are crucial for long-term sustainability. The study highlights the need for policy interventions and programs that focus on increasing financial literacy and encouraging digital transformation in SMEs to ensure their growth and resilience in the competitive market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how financial knowledge, the use of financial technology (fintech), and product innovation influence the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This research employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. A purposive sampling technique was applied to select 100 MSME actors in Sukoharjo Regency as the respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression.The results reveal that financial knowledge, fintech utilization, and product innovation have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. These findings highlight the importance of improving financial literacy, leveraging financial technology, and enhancing product innovation as strategic efforts to strengthen competitiveness and improve the performance of MSME.

Abstract

This study examines the mechanism of preparing loading documents for MT. Lucky Star 06 at the Ivo Mas Tunggal Private Terminal, managed by PT. Tarunacipta Kencana Dumai Branch. Loading documents are official records prepared during the liquid cargo loading process on a tanker to ensure operational smoothness, regulatory compliance, and administrative as well as legal requirements. The research methods employed were field research through direct observation during shore practice and library research to strengthen the theoretical foundation. The preparation mechanism begins with the shipping instruction (SI) from the shipper and voyage information from the shipowner, which are compiled into the bill of lading. Once received from the head office in Jakarta via email, the agent prepares a draft version to anticipate potential data changes during the loading process. Supporting documents include the shipping instruction, bill of lading, and MARPOL for pollution identification. The loading documents consist of three main components. The first is the cargo manifest, containing a complete cargo list, including vessel details, ports of loading/discharge, consignor, consignee, and cargo descriptions. The second is the mate’s receipt, serving as evidence of cargo acceptance by the vessel. The third is the statement of fact, which records all vessel activities from clearance in to clearance out based on the time sheet. Challenges identified include internet connection disruptions that hinder data input from surveyors or shippers, and errors caused by insufficient accuracy in data entry, particularly punctuation. Solutions applied involve continuous monitoring of operational emails and thorough rechecking of documents before submission to the vessel to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation in human resource management (HRM) on both individual performance and organizational productivity. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the research examined 15 selected scholarly articles published between 2010 and 2025 that are relevant to the application of AI in HRM. The literature selection process followed several stages, including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion, by utilizing academic databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and ResearchGate. The synthesis results reveal that AI adoption in HR functions—such as recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee retention—enhances efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making speed. The positive impacts of AI are evident in improving recruitment quality, optimizing talent development, predicting employee performance, and strengthening overall organizational productivity, particularly in the service sector.  This study concludes that AI holds significant potential to transform HRM into a more strategic, adaptive, and data-driven system. To maximize its benefits, organizations must establish ethical governance frameworks, foster digital competency development, and ensure strong regulatory support. Future research is recommended to expand empirical investigations across various industries to strengthen the generalizability of the findings

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of determinants of human resource quality, work professionalism and work motivation on improving employee performance at PT. Kraft Heinz ABC. The number of samples in this study is 41 respondents who are employees of PT. Kraft Heinz ABC where with the saturated sample method. The data collection method is by means of observation, interviews, documentation studies and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, simultaneous tests (F-test) and partial tests (t-tests). The results of this study are that the quality of human resources has a significant positive effect on employee performance at PT. Kraft Heinz ABC. Work professionalism has a significant positive effect on employee performance at PT. Kraft Heinz ABC. Work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance at PT. Kraft Heinz ABC. The quality of human resources, work professionalism and work motivation together affect employee performance at PT. Kraft Heinz ABC. Suggestions that can be given are adjusting the employee's work position, working according to SOPs, providing rewards for employees so that they can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of profitability and sales growth on capital structure in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2022 period. The background of this research lies in the importance of capital structure decisions in supporting business sustainability and competitiveness, particularly within the highly dynamic food and beverage industry. The sampling method applied was purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in a final sample of 28 companies with a total of 108 observations. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 with multiple linear regression as the main analytical technique. The findings reveal that profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, indicating that firms with higher profitability tend to rely less on debt financing. This result aligns with the pecking order theory, which suggests that companies prefer internal financing over external sources. Conversely, sales growth was found to have no significant effect on capital structure, implying that growth in sales is not a decisive factor in financing decisions. These results provide managerial implications, highlighting the role of profitability as a key consideration in determining corporate capital structure policies.
