Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of liquidity and solvency on financial performance with good corporate governance as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative methodology using purposive sampling techniques to collect data from 28 transportation and logistics companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) between 2020 and 2022. Multiple linear regression techniques were used in this study using SPSS 26 software. The study’s findings reveal that liquidity has a significant effect on financial performance, but solvency has no effect. GCG is able to moderate the influence of liquidity on financial performance, but is unable to do the same for solvency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the skills of the players of the Argentine and Colombian national teams in the 2024 Copa America final match, focusing on various aspects, including passing, shooting, control, and dribbling. Data collection was conducted through direct tests involving amateur soccer players competing at the national level. The analysis results indicate significant variations in the physical conditions and skills between players. The objective of this research is to understand the effectiveness of Argentina and Colombia during the 2024 Copa America Final, which ended with a score of 1-0 in Favor of Argentina, crowning them as champions. The research methodology used was descriptive quantitative. The data sources for this study were obtained from the video recording of the 2024 Copa America Final match. The results showed that Argentina achieved 378 accurate passes (82%), six successful shots on target (54%), four successful dribbles (40%), and 364 successful controls (93%). The conclusion drawn indicates that Colombia's playing techniques should have been more superior but failed to breach Argentina's defens. Both teams played exceptionally well, as reflected in the collected data, but differences were found in their formations. An analysis of the Colombian National Team's playing performance concluded that their techniques were good but not maximally utilized. The opportunities they had will serve as material for the team's evaluation moving forward.

Abstract

The evolution of Mysticeti (baleen whales) shows a unique transition from teeth to baleen, a specialized keratin structure that allows mass filtering methods to utilize zooplankton as a primary food source. This process includes significant anatomical, morphological, and molecular changes in their evolutionary history. This study examines paleontological, ontogenetic, and molecular evidence to understand the evolutionary mechanisms of tooth loss and the emergence of baleen. Genetic analysis shows inactivating mutations in enamel genes such as MMP20, ACP4, and KLK4 that promote the loss of enamel and teeth in Mysticeti. Paleontological findings indicate proto-baleen in Aetiocetidae as an important transitional stage to modern baleen structures. This study highlights the evolution of unique adaptations in Mysticeti that enabled their ecological success as the world's largest filter-feeding predators.

Abstract

In mammals, the reproductive process involves fertilization between male and female gametes that produce embryos. Gametogenesis, which includes spermatogenesis and oogenesis, is the stage of formation and maturation of gamete cells through mitosis and meiosis division. The purpose of this study is to understand the differences and similarities in the process of gametogenesis in vertebrate and invertebrate animal groups. This study uses a literature study method in obtaining its data. Although there are variations in structure and mechanism, the process of gametogenesis in vertebrates and invertebrates has similar basic principles. Environmental factors such as temperature also play an important role in influencing spermatogenic activity and reproductive behavior in both groups of animals. The similarities in the basic process indicate that gametogenesis is an evolutionarily conservative mechanism, while specific variations reflect adaptation to the reproductive needs of each species.

Abstract

A thermohygrometer is a device used to measure temperature, humidity, and the concentration of medical gases (CO and CO₂) in operating rooms. The temperature in an operating room should be maintained between 19°C and 24°C, and humidity between 45% and 65%, to prevent damage to electronic equipment and corrosion caused by low temperatures and high humidity. Medical gases containing oxygen can also accelerate corrosion. Therefore, a thermohygrometer equipped with medical gas readings is necessary. This study aims to design a thermohygrometer using a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity and an MQ-135 sensor to detect CO and CO₂ gases. The obtained data is displayed on an I2C LCD screen and sent to the Blynk application via WiFi using an ESP32. Testing shows a temperature reading error of -0.02%, humidity -0.02%, CO gas 0.32%, and CO₂ -0.16%, all within a tolerance limit of ±5%.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out how the definition of rujuk, how the himpuna of the arguments about rujuk, how the munasabah of the arguments between the arguments about rujuk and how the concept of rujuk according to the compilation of Islamic law. This research is a library study (library resecarh). Primary data sources are obtained by reading the literature related to the discussion of rujuk. The results of the study show that rujuk is an act or utterance of the husband wanting to return to his spouse while the arguments for rujuk are found in the Qur'an and Hadith, there is a relationship between the arguments with other arguments related to rujuk, and the concept of rujuk according to the compilation of Islamic law is in line with the laws contained in the Qur'an and Hadith.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between organizational culture, collaboration, and innovation in improving organizational performance. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this study explores how the formed organizational culture affects interactions between employees, the implementation of collaboration, and the creation of innovation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation analysis at PT Citra Kesawan Selaras. The results of the study indicate that an organizational culture that supports effective collaboration can facilitate the creation of innovation, which in turn contributes to increased employee productivity and performance. This study provides important insights for companies in creating a productive and innovative work environment through proper management of organizational culture.

Abstract

The development of the Western Outer Ring Road (WORR) in Surabaya is a solution initiated to address the worsening traffic congestion caused by the imbalance between the number of vehicles and the limited road length. This study aims to evaluate the impact of JLBB development on inter-regional connectivity and traffic congestion reduction. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through document analysis and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the planned 19.8 km JLBB is expected to reduce congestion in the city center, improve accessibility, and strengthen connectivity between Surabaya and surrounding cities such as Sidoarjo and Gresik. The project also has the potential to support economic growth through improved goods distribution and create job opportunities around the corridor area. However, the implementation of this project faces challenges in land acquisition and budget constraints, which hinder the acceleration of development. Therefore, regular evaluations and further coordination between the city government and the private sector are necessary to address these obstacles. The JLBB development is expected to make a significant contribution to smooth mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance the economy of Surabaya in the long term.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Role of Scouting in Increasing Adolescent Independence. Scouting is a movement that provides attitudes and skills to students, including teenagers. This research aims to describe the role of Scouts in supporting adolescent independence. The method used is a qualitative method with literature study. The research results show that these benefits are (1) helping participants to make their own decisions, (2) helping participants to work independently, (3) helping participants to face challenges, (4) helping participants to develop self-confidence, (5) help participants to develop the ability to work together in teams. Apart from that, pioneering activities can also help participants to develop good characters, such as: Perseverance, Tenacity, Accuracy, Creativity.

Abstract

Interest in sports among students plays an important role in maintaining physical and mental health and improving the balance between academic activities and physical activity. This study aims to analyze the interest of Pamulang University students in sports and the factors that influence it. The method used in this study was a quantitative descriptive survey by distributing questionnaires to 100 students from various faculties at Pamulang University. The results showed that the majority of students had a fairly high interest in sports, especially sports such as running, badminton, and football. The main factors that influence this interest are awareness of the importance of health, and support from the social environment. However, there are several obstacles that are also identified, such as time constraints due to busy academic activities and lack of promotion of campus sports activities. This study suggests that universities improve sports facilities and provide programs that can motivate students to be more active in exercising regularly. Thus, it is hoped that students' interest and participation in sports can increase, which will ultimately have a positive impact on their quality of life and academic achievement.
