Abstract

This study proves that the play approach is effective in increasing students' learning motivation in the subjects of Physical Education, Sports, and Health. The results of the study show that through play activities, students are more motivated to actively move and maintain body health. Through classroom action research conducted in two cycles, it was found that the play approach can be an effective solution to increase students' active participation in Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning. Data obtained from observation, documentation, and questionnaires showed a significant increase in learning motivation after the implementation of this approach. The results of this study conclude that the play approach has great potential to increase the interest and motivation of students in grade VI of Airlangga 1 State Elementary School Surabaya in the subjects of Physical Education, Sports, and Health. Therefore, this approach in learning activities is to create a fun and effective learning environment.

Abstract

The growth of tourism villages has become a key strategy for addressing challenges faced by the tourism industry during the pandemic. It's playing a big role in boosting Indonesia’s creative economy. This research focuses on identifying what drives tourists to visit these villages and which factors are most important in their decision-making. By reviewing various studies, key factors emerged: tourism product attribute (attraction, amenities, accessibility), tourist services, location, how easy it is to get there, and the impact of electronic word-of-mouth (e-WoM). Results showed that the main factors influencing tourists' choices were the attractions themselves and e-WoM. These insights can help village managers fine-tune their marketing efforts. Additionally, understanding that tourists often look for an escape from their daily routines or seek relaxation can help in designing more attractive travel packages. This research adds to existing academic discussions by offering a detailed look at what influences tourist choices in rural tourism, especially in Indonesia. Future studies should look at broader databases and include international perspectives to enrich the knowledge around global practices for tourism villages.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the basic locomotor motor skills of grade 3B students of SDN 8 Surabaya through learning based on the traditional game Gobak Sodor. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which consists of two cycles, with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in the basic locomotor movement ability of students, such as running, jumping, and jumping. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 51.48 with classical completeness of 40%. After the implementation of the Gobak Sodor game, there was an increase in the first cycle with an average score of 60.2 and classical completeness of 60%, and in the second cycle with an average score of 75.92 and classical completeness of 80%. The game of Gobak Sodor has proven to be effective in developing students' gross motor skills and increasing their motivation. Although the overall results show significant progress, some students still need more attention to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze efforts to manage and develop the Batu Gajah Beach tourist attraction and to identify the challenges faced in managing and developing the Batu Gajah Beach tourist attraction. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through observations, interviews and documentation of several informants, namely managers, the community and tourists. Researchers describe that the Batu Gajah Beach tourist attraction has attractive tourism potential with its natural scenery, as well as management efforts in managing and developing the Batu Gajah Beach tourist attraction such as facilities and infrastructure, maintenance and conservation, security and safety, promotion and marketing, and financial management.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the existence strategy for motif weaving. Silindung. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach that leads to descriptive methods, with a focus on an in-depth understanding of the meaning of ulos and the existence strategies used by weavers. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with weavers, tourism actors and local communities. Participatory observation was also carried out to gain a more comprehensive understanding of ulos production practices and their role in community life. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively by identifying thematic patterns and describing the results of interviews and observations. The development strategy implemented is a social capital model that involves the Government, Academics, Local Communities, Tourists and the Media in efforts to be involved in developing ulos products which focus on the meaning of ulos, improving production quality, as well as promotion through various channels, including social media. The impact of this existence strategy can be seen in the increase in interest in purchasing ulos in the last 3 years. This research contributes to uncovering the potential of traditional ulos weaving as a cultural and economic asset, as well as providing practical guidance for weavers, the government and buyers. Apart from that, this research also provides new insight into the meaning of ulos and the existence strategies used by weavers in the Silindung rural area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah dasar melalui kompetisi permainan gerak lokomotor dan manipulasi dengan permainan bola besar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN Pakis 8 Surabaya yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 32,26% pada prasiklus menjadi 48,39% pada siklus I, 67,74% pada siklus II, dan mencapai 83,87% pada siklus III. Observasi aktivitas siswa juga menunjukkan peningkatan dari kategori baik (73%) pada siklus I menjadi sangat baik (93%) pada siklus III. Kesimpulannya, pembelajaran PJOK melalui kompetisi permainan gerak lokomotor dan manipulasi dengan permainan bola besar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine of implications the tourism at Makam II. Nommensen in Sigumpar. Implication is the impact or result caused by one thing, which in this case means the impact obtained from tourism the IL.Nommensen tomb. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through the results of observations, interviews, and documentation of several informants, namely the West Sigumpar Village Government, Tourism Managers, and Village Communities, as well as the Toba Culture and Tourism Office. With the member of informants five people. Through the results of the research that has been done, the researchers describe that IL. Nommensen is an interesting tour with a spiritual aspect so that many tourists visit on holidays, but some of the impacts of tourist visits have not been felt by related parties such as managers, the Tourism Office, especially from the community. Especially the economic impact which is expected to increase the local economy but the results of the economic impact are still not felt by related parties. Therefore, researchers recommend analyzing the implications of the tourist attraction so that later when there is improvement, the most important impact is not forgotten to be associated with the sustainability of tourism. Thus the cooperation of the parties involved is needed so that the impact of the IL Tomb tourist attraction. Nommensen can be felt by the community, managers, and the government.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of the play approach in improving basic soccer technical skills in class VII junior high school students. The main focus is on four key techniques: passing, controlling, dribbling and shooting the ball. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology which is carried out in two learning cycles. The research participants consisted of 39 students (19 boys, 20 girls) from SMP Negeri 1 Waru Sidoarjo. Data is collected through direct observation, skills tests, and documentation of the learning process. Analysis includes qualitative evaluation of student participation and quantitative assessment of skill scores. Results showed significant improvements in students' basic soccer technical skills. The average score increased from 74.05 in cycle I to 75.77 in cycle II. In addition, there was an increase in students' active involvement and the overall quality of the learning process. These findings indicate that the play approach is effective in improving basic soccer skills as well as students' learning motivation. This research provides valuable insight for sports educators about teaching strategies that can improve the learning of soccer techniques at the junior high school level.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure improvement in bottom service skills using a problem-based learning (PBL) model. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted at SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya, and focused on 31 class 5B students. The data collection technique uses a lower service ability test, for indicators of success referring to Djamarah (2006). The percentage indicator for achieving success in this research is the criteria for completing the score for physical education lessons of ≥75 and 80% of the total number of students have exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. The increase in the average student score for cycle 1 activities, had an average score of 68 and a completion percentage of 48.39%, continued in cycle 2 and experienced an increase in the average score of 72 and a student completion percentage of 67.74%. In cycle 3, the average student score increased again by 77 and the percentage of completion was 83.87%.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how important learning management is in improving student achievement. Maximum learning management will have a maximum impact on student achievement. At the Al Ulum Integrated Islamic Middle School in Medan, learning management has not been implemented optimally. The aim of this research is to contribute to school leaders in learning management so that student achievement can increase. The type of research used in writing this thesis is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research provides descriptive data in the form of manuscripts, interviews, field notes, personal documents, memos and other documents. The research subjects in this thesis are the principal, deputy principal for curriculum and teachers. This research data collection instrument uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques by reducing data, presenting data, verifying data. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of learning management in improving student achievement is still not optimal, both in terms of management and learning and how students' achievements are at school. For this reason, this research may be continued by interested parties.
