Abstract

This research study explores the role of positive psychology, technology and neuroscience on the mental health and psychological well-being of students in Jakarta. A mixed methods approach was used, involving quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with students from different levels of education. Quantitative data analysis showed that engagement in positive psychology interventions was associated with higher levels of psychological well-being and life satisfaction. Excessive social media use showed a negative correlation with mental health outcomes, while moderate and balanced use of technology had no significant impact on well-being. Qualitative analysis highlighted the positive experiences of students participating in the positive psychology intervention and their recognition of the benefits of mindfulness practices. The findings contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence students' mental health and well-being, providing practical insights for educators and policy makers.

Abstract

This research study examines the impact of digital learning platforms and student engagement on academic achievement among secondary school students in Bandung. The study used a sample of 500 students from different schools representing different grade levels and socio-economic backgrounds. Data were collected through survey questionnaires and academic achievement measures obtained from school records. Descriptive, correlation, and regression analyses were conducted to analyze the data. The results showed a positive relationship between the use of digital learning platforms and student engagement. Students who used digital learning platforms more frequently showed higher levels of engagement. In addition, student engagement was found to positively affect academic achievement, suggesting that more engaged students tend to achieve better academic achievement. Regression analysis showed that digital learning platforms and student engagement significantly predicted academic achievement. After controlling for other factors, digital learning platforms accounted for 25% of the variance in academic achievement, while student engagement accounted for 15% of the variance. These findings highlight the combined effects of digital learning platforms and student engagement on academic achievement. The findings of this study have important implications for educational practice. Educators can utilize digital learning platforms to increase student engagement and improve academic outcomes. Policy makers should consider providing the necessary resources and infrastructure to ensure equitable access to digital learning platforms. Further research is recommended to explore strategies and best practices to optimize student engagement and maximize the potential of digital learning platforms.

Abstract

This research study investigates the influence of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) on operational efficiency and business process optimization. The study adopted a systematic literature review approach to collect and analyze relevant academic articles, industry reports, and conference proceedings. Findings reveal that RPA implementation significantly improves operational efficiency by automating repetitive and rule-based tasks. This automation reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and speeds up process execution, leading to increased productivity, faster response times, and cost savings for organizations. RPA also contributes to business process optimization by streamlining workflows, eliminating bottlenecks, and standardizing processes. Standardized execution of tasks through RPA improves process efficiency, quality, and visibility, allowing organizations to make data-driven decisions and continuously optimize their operations. However, challenges such as process complexity, employee resistance to change, integration issues, and data security concerns need to be addressed for a successful RPA implementation. Organizations must develop a comprehensive implementation plan, establish a governance framework, and foster a culture of collaboration to overcome these challenges. The practical implications derived from this research offer guidance for organizations that are considering or implementing RPA solutions. Recommendations include conducting a thorough process analysis, developing a comprehensive implementation plan, establishing governance mechanisms, encouraging collaboration, and continuously optimizing processes. While this study provides valuable insights into the impact of RPA on operational efficiency and business process optimization, it acknowledges the limitations of the research, such as the reliance on literature up to September 2021 and the subjectivity of the data analysis.

Abstract

Post-ventilator patients can experience Post Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS) problems. This includes physical, psychological and cognitive changes. This research aims to analyze the incidence of PICS in post-ventilator patients in Surabaya. The design of this study used a descriptive research method with research variables including physical, psychological and cognitive health. The population of post-ventilator patients amounted to 56 patients with a sample of 49 patients using the simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet. Which consists of 16 questions, divided into physical, psychological and cognitive aspects. Post intensive care syndrome in post-ventilator patients, the majority of the physical aspects are in the sufficient category, such as changes in fatigue and pain. In the psychological (mental) aspect, most are in the sufficient category marked by anxiety and sadness. The cognitive aspect is also mostly in the sufficient category which includes changes in patient memory. Post intensive care syndrome in the physical, psychological and cognitive aspects is in the sufficient category. This is marked by mild changes. The recommendation in this study is that patients need to get health education only if they experience PICS.
