Abstract

Introduction: HIV is an infection that attacks the immune system which is characterized by a decrease in CD4+ cells with MSM as the 2nd largest contributor globally. PPrP serves as an additional option in the prevention of HIV-negative MSM from becoming infected with HIV. Objective: This study was conducted to review more deeply the role of pre-exposure prophylaxis in reducing the risk of contracting HIV in male sex groups with HIV negative men and to review the effectiveness and implementation of HIV/AIDS pre-exposure prophylaxis in male sex men so that it is expected to be a consideration in efforts to combat HIV/AIDS. Methods: Literature search was conducted from journal articles published online in the period 2012-2021. The databases used are ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Google Scholar, and Cochrane. Results: The study showed that the factors that significantly affected the high prevalence of HIV cases among MSM were anal sex and based on the findings the use of PrEP showed a significant effectiveness for the MSM group with pre-exposure prophylaxis as a preventive measure in dealing with HIV positive cases. Conclusion: PrEP has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of contracting HIV in HIV-negative MSM groups and has the potential to be an additional prevention option so that it can be applied in efforts to prevent HIV infection and reduce the spread of HIV in MSM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah terakreditasi Sinta melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 1 Maret 2023. Peserta kegiatan berasal dari berbagai kalangan, termasuk mahasiswa, guru, dan dosen, dengan total 28 peserta. Abstrak ini menjelaskan latar belakang pentingnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah terakreditasi Sinta. Isu-isu terkait dengan masalah tersebut dan kajian penelitian atau kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat yang relevan dengan tema kegiatan juga diuraikan. Penelitian dan pengabdian sebelumnya yang telah dilakukan oleh pengabdi lain atau pengabdi sendiri memberikan dasar kuat untuk kegiatan ini. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan penggunaan aplikasi Zoom sebagai platform online. Peserta diberikan materi dan pelatihan interaktif mengenai teknik penulisan yang benar, struktur karya tulis ilmiah, penggunaan referensi yang tepat, dan metode penelitian yang relevan. Kolaborasi dan diskusi antara peserta juga menjadi bagian penting dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran tentang penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah terakreditasi Sinta. Mereka dapat menerapkan keterampilan praktis yang diperoleh dalam menyusun karya tulis ilmiah berkualitas tinggi. Evaluasi kepuasan peserta juga menunjukkan hasil yang positif, menegaskan keberhasilan kegiatan dalam mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Dalam kesimpulan, kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran peserta dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah terakreditasi Sinta. Dampak positif dari kegiatan ini diharapkan akan berlanjut dalam jangka panjang, melalui peningkatan jumlah dan kualitas karya tulis ilmiah terakreditasi Sinta yang dihasilkan oleh peserta, serta pengembangan ekosistem pengetahuan yang lebih kuat dan inovatif.

Abstract

This research study explores the effect of promotion practices, training initiatives, and leadership style on employee career development in a start-up company. The study employs a mixed-methods research design, including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to gather comprehensive data. The findings from the quantitative analysis indicate a positive correlation between promotion opportunities and employee career advancement, as well as a positive relationship between the effectiveness of training programs and perceived skill development. The qualitative analysis reveals the importance of supportive and empowering leadership behaviors and the impact of specific training initiatives on employee career growth. The integration of quantitative and qualitative findings provides a holistic understanding of the factors influencing employee career development in start-up companies. The implications of the study contribute to theoretical knowledge and offer practical recommendations for start-up companies to optimize promotion practices, training initiatives, and leadership styles to support employee career development.

This research study explores the role of positive psychology, technology and neuroscience on the mental health and psychological well-being of students in Jakarta. A mixed methods approach was used, involving quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with students from different levels of education. Quantitative data analysis showed that engagement in positive psychology interventions was associated with higher levels of psychological well-being and life satisfaction. Excessive social media use showed a negative correlation with mental health outcomes, while moderate and balanced use of technology had no significant impact on well-being. Qualitative analysis highlighted the positive experiences of students participating in the positive psychology intervention and their recognition of the benefits of mindfulness practices. The findings contribute to the understanding of the factors that influence students' mental health and well-being, providing practical insights for educators and policy makers.

Abstract

Pelatihan Penyusunan Artikel Ilmiah Lolos Plagiasi Turnitin merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan secara online pada tanggal 23 Mei 2023 melalui aplikasi Zoom. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 53 peserta dari berbagai kalangan seperti mahasiswa, guru, dan dosen. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman peserta dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah yang bebas dari plagiasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktek langsung menggunakan aplikasi Turnitin. Peserta dilatih dalam teknik penulisan ilmiah yang benar dan metode menghindari plagiasi. Mereka juga diberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya etika penelitian dan integritas akademik. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang penulisan artikel ilmiah dan penguasaan teknik menghindari plagiasi. Peserta juga mampu menggunakan aplikasi Turnitin dengan baik untuk menganalisis keaslian artikel mereka. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dan integritas akademik peserta. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah yang bebas dari plagiasi. Hal ini memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas penelitian dan integritas akademik. Kegiatan serupa di masa depan dapat membantu lebih banyak individu dalam menghasilkan penelitian yang berkualitas dan orisinal.
