Abstract

Abstark. Penelitian ini telah dilakukakan di Station Riset II Ie Seum, UPT. University Farm, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh Besar. Penelitian berlangsung selama 90 hari, mulai tanggal 22 Mei sampai 14 Agustus 2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk memanfaatkan limbah feses sapi sebagai pakan alternatif pengganti pakan pelet pabrikan, mengurangi produksi pakan yang tinggi dalam budidaya ikan Nila, dan dalam hal ini memacu pertambahan berat badan ikan Nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan terdiri dari 4 ulangan. Perlakuan pemberian subsitusi dari pakan komersial dengan pakan pelet organik sebanyak 0, 10, 20 dan 30%. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah berat badan, pertambahan berat badan, konsumsi pakan, efisiensi pakan, konversi pakan, kelansungan hidup, pH dan suhu air. Pemberian subtitusi pakan komersial dengan pakan pelet organik berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap semua parameter yang diamati, yaitu berat badan, pertambahan berat badan, konsumsi ransum, efisiensi ransum, dan konversi ransum. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa subtitusi pakan komersial dengan pakan pelet organik 10-20% dapat digunakan untuk memacu laju pertumbuhan ikan Nila hitam.  Effect of Feeding Cow Waste and Probiotics Feed Manufacturing Natural Materials as for Added Weight of Black Nile Tilapia Fish (Oreochromis Niloticus)Abstract. Research has been dane in Research Station II Ie Seum, UPT. University Farm, Syiah Kuala University, Aceh Besar. The was conducted for 90 days, starting on May 22 until August 14, 2016. The purpose of this study was to use waste as feed for cow dung cost and promote the growth and production of Nile Tilapia. This research used completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and each replication. The treatment was subtitution of commercial diets with organic pellt feed (OPF) with the level of 0, 10, 20, and 30%, respeetively. The parameters observed were final weight, weight gain, feed consumption, feed efficiency, feed conversion, mortality/ life sustainability, pH and water temperature. Results study shwed that feeding organic pellet feed highly significant (P 0.01) affeted on all parameters, sach as final body weight, body weight gain, feed consumption, feed efficiency, and the feed conversion. The results of the study concluded that feeding organic pellet feed with a percentage of 10-20% was betterfor the growth rate of Nile Tilapia

Abstract

Abstract The district of Central Aceh is one of district located in the highlands of Gayo. The land and environtmant are very promising which is really potential to development of farming sector primarily coffee plant. Information on moisture groundwater is necessary to improve the potential ground for the coffee plant. Coffee plants are already known suitable developed in the district of Central Aceh. But, information on the status of groundwater in certain kind of soil unavailable, although the availability of water can be done with the irrigation. The results showed that among 3 types of studied soils are that andisol, ultisol and inceptisol and the highest water available is ultisol dominated by a non cultivation. Even andisol having value the availability of water is more stable, this can be seen from the water available that is not very different between land cultivation and non cultivation. While other land types that Ultisol and Inceptisol only have water available on of non cultivation only. If it is associated with the availability of water in the coffee plant is then the Andisol is most suitable because soil water on the two different locations aren’t different .

ANALYSISBENEFIT SALES OF HOME INDUSTRY ON MELINJO AND FLOUR’S CHIPS IN PULO PISANG PIDIE CITY Muhammad Azrul/Agribussines Unsyiah ABSTRACT Flour crackers are traditional processed products using starch and wheat flour as the main ingredient. Melinjo is one of the flagship products of Pidie, which is produced in almost all districts. This study aimed to analyze whether the home business industry can provide benefits and do a comparison of income. The analytical method used in this research is the analysis of income, ravenue cost ratio, BEP and comparative analysis. Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to know the growth and productivity of some strains of rice plant on dry planting season. This research was carried out in a BBT paddy fields (Integrated Seed Hall) Samahani Kuta Malaka, Aceh Besar Regency of Aceh Province, from Mai to October 2015. This study used a Randomized Design Group- nonfactor with 3 strains of rice that is: 14 1002 E, 11S3 E, 14 1009 and each repeated 3 times, so there are 9 units of the experiment. The observed variables are plant height  and tillers of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 weeks after planting, flowering age, age of harvest, panicle length, the weight of 1000 grains of paddy, the percentage of grain contains per clump, the percentage of empty grain per tiller, heavy grain contains per clump, heavy grain contains per plot, and potential yield. There is a difference in growth and high productivity of plants, the length and weight of1000 the panicle. The tallest plants found in strain14E1002, longest panicle found in strains of 11S3 and a weight of 1000 grains found in the highest strain 11S3. Strain 14E1009 in achieving higher per hectare results 7.43 tonnes per hectare at dry planting season. Keywords: growth, productivity, rice,strain,  dry planting season

Abstract

Abstrak - Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan utama di Indonesia. Luas lahan perkebunan rakyat di Provinsi Aceh mencapai 75.130 hektar (Ha) sedangkan perkebunan swasta hanya 3.670 hektar (Ha) yang tersebar di delapan kabupaten sentra komoditas kakao. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey, yaitu metode penelitian yang menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument utama untuk mengumpulkan data. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh petani kakao yang menjual hasil kakaonya di koperasi yang ada. di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya yang berjumlah sebanyak 300 orang. Dari hasil penelitian  diperoleh bahwa Secara serempak produktivitas kakao  pidie jaya di pengaruhi oleh faktor luas lahan, tenaga kerja, modal, jumlah batang kakao, pupuk Urea dan Npk.Kata Kunci : Kakao, Produktivitas, Produktivitas kakao.

Abstract

Abstrak-Udang vannamei sebagai komoditas alternatif yang saat ini diminati petambak. Desa Ujong Blang Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe merupakan salah satu tempat yang berpotensi untuk mengembangkan udang vannamei. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prospek pengembangan usaha budidaya udang vannamei di Desa Ujong Blang Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe jika ditinjau dari aspek teknis, aspek finansial, dan aspek pemasaran. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan kriteria investasi dan analisis sensitivitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis bahwa prospek pengembangan usaha budidaya udang vannamei di Desa Ujong Blang Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe bila ditinjau dari aspek finansial layak diusahakan dengan nilai NPV Rp451.186.947,-, Net B/C 3,336,  IRR 76%, dan BEP terjadi pada Tahun ke-3 Bulan ke-9.Kata Kunci : Budidaya UdangVannamei, Prospek Pengembangan. Abstract - Vannamei shrimp as an alternative comodity that currently attracts farmers’ interest at   Ujong Blang village Banda Sakti district of Lhokseumawe is a potential area to develop vannamei shrimp. The purpose of this study was to determine the development prospects of vannamei shrimp cultivation at Ujong Blang village Banda Sakti district of Lhokseumawe from the technical, financial, and marketing aspects. The analytical methods used in this research were the investment criteria and sensitivity analyzes. The result of analysis showed that the development prospects of vannamei shrimp cultivation in the village of Ujong Blang Banda Sakti district of Lhokseumawe from the financial aspects worth cultivating with a NPV value Rp 451,186,947, -, Net B / C 3.336, IRR 76%, and BEP occured in the 3rd year the 9th  month. Keywords : Vannamei Shrimp Cultivation, Development Prospects.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Mi merupakan salah satu produk olahan yang sangat digemari oleh masyarakat. Saat ini penggunaan boraks dan formalin sebagai bahan pengawet pada mi basah telah membuat masyarakat terutama pihak konsumen menjadi resah, hal ini disebabkan mengkonsumsi mi basah yang mengandung boraks dan formalin akan berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan boraks dan formalin pada mi basah yang berada di kota Banda Aceh dan Aceh Besar dan menggali pengetahuan produsen dan konsumen terhadap pemakaian boraks dan formalin. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi pengetahuan kepada produsen mi basah dan masyarakat tentang bahaya penggunaan boraks dan formalin yang dilarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan survey yang bersifat deskriptif atau tinjauan yang mengkaji sejumlah sampel mi yang akan diambil dari beberapa produsen mi basah yang ada di sekitar kota Banda Aceh dan Aceh Besar. Metode survey dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dengan produsen di lokasi pengambilan sampel. Wawancara dilakukan berdasarkan daftar pertanyaan yang telah disusun, pertanyaan yang ditanyakan bersifat terbuka berupa kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil survey, pengetahuan produsen terhadap bahaya penggunaan boraks dan formalin sudah cukup baik, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan hampir seluruh responden produsen menjawab pertanyaan kuisioner dengan benar. Pada umumnya pengetahuan responden (produsen mi basah) terhadap boraks dan formalin tergolong cukup baik, tetapi tidak mengurangi keinginan responden untuk tetap menggunakan boraks dan formalin. Abstract. Noodle is one of processed products which is highly favored by people. Nowadays, the use of borax and formaldehyde as preservatives in wet noodles has made public especially the consumers restless because consuming a wet noodle containing borax and formaldehyde will be harmful to the health. This study aimed to identify the content of borax and formaldehyde in wet noodles in the city of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar and to gain the knowledge of producers and consumers about the use of borax and formaldehyde. This research was then expected to provide the knowledge about dangers of using prohibited borax and formaldehyde to the wet noodles manufacturers and the public. This research used a descriptive survey approach or a review that examined numbers of noodles taken from several wet noodles manufacturers around the city of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. Survey methods was conducted by interviewing the producers at the sampling sites. Interviews were conducted based on a list of structured questions and open-ended questions were asked in a questionnaire form. Based on the survey results, the knowledge of producers against the dangers of using borax and formaldehyde were fairly good. This could be proved by almost all respondents answering the questions correctly. In general, the knowledge of the respondent (wet noodles manufacturers) on borax and formaldehyde was fairly good, but it did not reduce the willingness of the respondents to keep using borax and formaldehyde.

Abstract

This study attempts to: ( 1 ) To know change rice fields and area utilization based on spatial in Krueng Barona Jaya district regency of Aceh Besar, ( 2 ) To know how the use of rice fields with the existing spatial in Krueng Barona Jaya district regency of Aceh Besar , ( 3 ) To find the factors that effecting amendment rice fields into land non farming based on spatial in Krueng Barona Jaya district regency of Aceh Besar. Study was conducted from may 2015 to May 2016 in Krueng Barona Jaya district regency of Aceh Besar and in the Laboratory Sensing Far and Cartography Faculty Agriculture Syiah Kuala University. Methods used in research is method of surveying descriptive. The result showed that any change over the function rice fields of 112,23 ha (16,11 %) change over the function the land, rice fields changing function settlement to land at 93,97 ha (13,49 %), and rice fields changed their function to of farmland dry equal to 18,26 ha (2,62 %). The results of the study also found land use there are no resemblance to 2013-2032 master of 1,14 ha a month 0,16 %. In general factors affect over the function of rice fields in Krueng Barona Jaya district their needs, demand for high land, land conditions, the urge to  the conversion and the distances to the city center and near to the sub district.

Abstract

Abstrak.Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) telah menjadi salah satu metode non-destruktif yang paling menjanjikan dan dapat digunakan untuk analisis dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dibidang pertanian. Kandungan kadar lemak pada biji kakao merupakan komponen termahal dari biji kakao. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah membandingkan  data spektrum antar pretreatment baseline shift dan derivatif-2 dalam mengkoreksi spektrum NIRS yang dihasilkan serta mengembangkan metode non-destruktive NIRS dalam menduga kandungan lemak pada bubuk biji kakao. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Instrumentasi dan Energi Program Studi Teknik Pertanian pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2016. Penelitian menggunakan Baseline Shift dan Derivatif-2 sebagai metode koreksi spektrum dan Partial least Square (PLS) sebagai metode pengolah spektrum. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa metode NIRS menggunakan preatreatment baseline shift dan derivatif-2 pada panjang gelombang 2300-2400 nm merupakan panjang gelombang yang relevan untuk menduga kadar lemak pada bubuk biji kakao. Pendugaan PLS yang didukung pretreatment telah menghasilkan pendugaan yang tergolong good model performance. Pada pendugaan kadar lemak yang sangat baik dalam meningkatkan kinerja PLS pada validasi silang adalah baseline shift. Kata kunci :Biji kakao, NIRS, Kadar lemak, Metode Nondestruktif Abstract. Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) has become one of the non-destructive method which is the most engagement and can be used to analyze in a variety sectors, including  the agriculture sector. The content of  the fat content in cocoa beans is one of the most important component  than others. The aim of this research was to compare the spectral data between baseline shift and 2nd derivative method in correcting the NIRS spectrum produced and to deloved non-destructive NIRS method in predicting the fat content of cocoa powder.  This research is conducted in the Laboratory Instrumentation and Energy of Agriculture Department from March until May 2016. The research uses Baseline Shift and 2nd Derivatives as a method of correction spectrum and Partial least square (PLS) as a regression method.  The results of research showed that the NIRS method uses pretreatment baseline shift and 2nd derivative on the wavelength of 2300-2400 nm is a wavelength that is relevant to estimate fat levels in  cocoa beans powder.  The estimation of PLS that is supported pretreatment has been resulted the estimation that is included a good performance models.  In the estimation of fat content is the best in improving PLS performance on cross-validation is a baseline shift. Keywords: Cocoa beans, NIRS, levels of fat, non-destructive method

Abstract

Abstrak- Penelitian tentang Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Ternak Ayam Broiler yang diberi Pakan Komersial di substitusidengan amtabisyang difermentasi dengan Aspergillus niger  telah dilakukan di Laboratorium Lapangan Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala yang berlokasi di Desa Kopelma Darussalam Banda Aceh. Penelitian berlangsung selama 35 hari sejak  tanggal 4 Desember 2015 sampai dengan tanggal 9 Januari 2016. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk  mengetahui tingkat kelayakan produksi dan biaya produksi usaha ternak ayam broiler dengan pemberian amtabis sebagai substitusi sebagian pakan. Parameter yang diamati adalah : biaya produksi, nilai  pendapatan, keuntungan, dan kelayakan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, peningkatan persentase substitusi amtabis mengakibatkan turunnya rata-rata biaya produksi yang berimplikasi pada meningkatnya nilai rata-rata penjualan, meskipun tidak melebihi nilai penjualan pada kontrol. Substitusi amtabis pada level 2% dan 4% diperoleh nilai B/C ratio lebih kecil dari satu, sehingga ransum tersebut tidak layak digunakan dalam usaha ayam broiler. Sedangkan substitusi amtabis pada level 6% kembali meningkatkan nilai B/C ratio sama dengan satu, sehingga ransum tersebut masih layak digunakan dalam usaha ayam broiler. Finances Feasibility Analysis On Broiler Commercial Production Which Using Fermented Amtabis  To Substitute Partly Amount Of Standard Commercial Feed Abstrack - A research of finances feasibilityanalysison broiler commercial production which using fermented amtabis  to substitutepartly amount of standard commercial feed was done on Animal Science Field Laboratory of Agriculture Department of Syiah Kuala University located at Kopelma County Darussalam Banda Aceh. The research was conducted from December 4th  2015 to January 9th 2016. The research purpose was to find finances feasibilityand production cost of broiler commercial production which using fermented amtabis  to substitute partly amount of standard commercial feed. Parameters observed were productioncost, income value, profits and benefit cost ratio (B/C ratio) analysis. The research concluded that partly substituting broiler standard commercial feed with fermented amtabis nor 2% and 4% was finnancially feasible (B/C ratio 1).However, partly substituting broiler standard commercial feed with 6% fermented amtabis was finnancially feasible (B/C ratio 1)
