Abstract

ABSTRACTTechnology is advancing quickly, reshaping communication, payment systems, and the economy. Mobile banking, in particular, has the potential to revolutionize banking services by enabling customers to perform transactions independently. This research investigates the factors that influence the use of mobile banking among customers of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk at the Semarang Sudiarto Branch. The study targets active users of the BriMO Mobile Banking application, which serves 49,000 customers at this branch. A simple random sampling method was used to select 100 respondents, without considering population strata. Results show that mobile banking performance positively affects usage decisions, with a coefficient of 0.818 and a significance of 0.001 (H1 accepted). In contrast, mobile banking transaction costs negatively impact usage decisions, with a coefficient of -0.159 and significance of 0.014 (H4 accepted). Additionally, the decision to use mobile banking is positively associated with usage levels, indicated by a coefficient of 0.434 and significance of 0.001 (H5 accepted). However, ease of use (H2 rejected) and security trust (H3 rejected) do not significantly influence usage decisions, with significance values of 0.150 and 0.325, respectively. Keywords: Mobile Banking Performance, Ease of Use, Mobile Banking Security Trust, Mobile banking transaction costs, Decision to Use.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of human resource (HR) competence, supervision and control, and regulation on successful damaged fixed assets management moderated by leader commitment in central government. The research was conducted at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) with 139 respondents whose selection was carried out with certain criteria or judgmental sampling method. The sample consists of employees who are accustomed to processing damaged fixed assets management so that they are expected to have a good understanding of State-Owned Assets (BMN) management. The data analysis method uses SEM-PLS with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that HR competence, supervision and control, and regulation positively affect the successful damaged fixed assets management. Furthermore, leader commitment as a moderating variable cannot strengthen the relationship between HR competence on the successful damaged fixed assets management, weaken the relationship between supervision and control on the successful damaged fixed assets management, but can strengthen the relationship between regulation on the successful damaged fixed assets management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze "arisan," a social gathering common in Indonesia, from the perspective of receivables accounting and investment. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interpretive approach to understand the experiences of participants in Padang. Informants were selected based on their ability to explain their involvement in "arisan," particularly focusing on unique models not commonly found in other areas. Random sampling was used to determine observation locations, allowing researchers to observe and conduct interviews effectively. Data analysis follows the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, where data reduction occurred alongside collection to capture the informants' perspectives. The study reveals that participants' motivations for joining "arisan" often stem from a desire to save money and manage receivables. When members receive their funds early, it is viewed as an investment, reflecting their economic motivations. Additionally, some participants use "arisan" as an investment tool, contributing goods or money equivalent to goods to protect their assets from inflation. In conclusion, "arisan" serves not only as a social activity but also as a financial mechanism, where members recognize funds as receivables or investments, offering unique insights into local economic behavior. Keywords: Accounting, Expenditure Cycle, Account Receivable and investments

Abstract

Indonesia's economic growth has demonstrated quite impressive achievements in recent years due to the support from the banking sector in stimulating the economy. However, the high performance of the national banking has not been aligned by the Regional Development Banks' (BPD) performances. Thus, this study was conducted to investigate variables that affect BPD performance, such as intellectual capital and income diversification. This study also tested the moderating effect of income diversification between intellectual capital on bank performance. This study used panel data containing financial reports for 23 BPDs in Indonesia. We took annual data from the Financial Services Authority of the Republic of Indonesia with an observation period for the last 16 years (2008-2023). The results of this study show that intellectual capital & income diversification have a positive and significant effect on bank performance. Finally, for testing the moderation effect, this study shows that income diversification provides a moderation effect that can significantly weaken the influence of intellectual capital on bank performance. Keywords: Bank performance, Intellectual capital, Income diversification.

Abstract

As one of the national priority industrial sectors, the cosmetics industry continues to experience growth driven by growing consumer awareness of health and beauty. The phenomenon of technological development has impacted changes in consumer behaviour in purchasing cosmetic industry products, especially online purchases made through social media, e-commerce or live broadcasts. This research aims to determine purchasing decisions regarding types of skincare products at the TikTok Shop. The population in this study were skincare consumers from Jabodetabek aged 25-35 years. The sample size was 275 respondents who filled out the questionnaire. The questionnaire's independent elements are listed in the 4Ps marketing mix (Price, Product, Promotion and Place). Meanwhile, the dependent factor measured is the purchasing decision when seeing sales of viral skincare products on the TikTok Shop. This research uses a regression method to find relationships between variables with the SmartPLS application. This research shows that promotion and price are the most significant factors influencing consumers when purchasing skincare products at the TikTok Shop. Keywords: Tiktok Shop, Cosmetics Industry, Promotions, Prices, Purchasing Decision.

Abstract

Bank performance in the last 10 years has improved marked by an increase in loan growth but followed by a declining trend in profitability. Out of 47 banks, 28 were selected as samples using purposive sampling—data analysis techniques using IBM SPS Amos 24.0 software. From the results of data analysis, the results show that loan growth has a positive and insignificant effect on return on assets, loan to assets has a negative and insignificant effect on return on assets, size has a positive and significant effect on return on assets, loan growth and size have a positive and negligible effect on non-performing loans and loan to assets has a significant negative effect on non-performing loans. The results of mediation testing using the Sobel test, the results show that non-performing loans can provide a partial mediating role in the relationship between loan to assets and return on assets, but non-performing loans cannot act as mediation of the relationship between loan growth and size to the return on assets.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the variables that would affect East Java Province's Regency / City inclusive economic development index between 2017 and 2021. This study employed a descriptive quantitative research design. The Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was chosen as the suitable model for this research's panel data regression analysis, which was conducted using the Eviews 13 analytic tool. The results showed that the variable level of employment opportunities, good condition roads, residents who have health insurance and decent drinking water sources had a significant effect on the inclusive economic growth index. Meanwhile, the gini ratio and poor population variables do not have a significant effect on the inclusive economic growth index. These findings indicate that the indicators in Pillar 2 of Income Equality and Poverty Reduction are not sufficient to influence the East Java Province's districts' and cities' inclusive economic growth index. Keywords: Inclusive Economic Growth Index, Employment Opportunities, Roads in Good Condition, Gini Ratio, Population with Health Insurance, Adequate Drinking Water Sources.
