Abstract

Responsive public services are one of the important pillars in the implementation of the principles of good governance. However, in practice, the responsiveness of services at the Saketi District Office, Pandeglang Regency still faces various obstacles, especially in terms of the accuracy of response, speed of service, and the effectiveness of communication between the apparatus and the community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of good governance principles, especially the responsiveness aspect in improving the quality of public services in the Sageti District Office. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis is focused on four indicators of responsiveness according to Zeithaml, namely the ability to respond to the community, speed, precision, and timeliness of services. The results of the study show that in general, the principle of good governance in the aspect of responsiveness has been applied quite well. The sub-district apparatus is considered to be able to provide relatively fast and precise services, although there are still some obstacles in communication and consistency of service time. Increasing the capacity of human resources and strengthening the service system based on community needs are the main recommendations to improve the performance of public services in Sageti District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internationalization process of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through a case study of Atika Shuttlecocks using the Uppsala Model framework. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data were collected through in-depth interviews with the business owner and supported by secondary data from relevant academic literature. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis based on the components of state aspects, change aspects, and network within the Uppsala Model. The findings reveal that the internationalization process occurs progressively through the development of market knowledge and market commitment, which are acquired through direct interactions with international buyers. In addition, marketing activities via social media function as current activities that drive commitment decisions, particularly in terms of product adaptation and business strategy adjustments. The study also finds that digital networks, especially social media platforms, play a significant role in accelerating access to international markets and reducing barriers to expansion.Furthermore, the results indicate that SME internationalization does not fully follow the incremental pattern proposed in the traditional Uppsala Model. Instead, it reflects a combination of gradual learning processes and opportunity-driven expansion facilitated by digital networks. This study contributes to the literature by enhancing the understanding of SME internationalization dynamics in the digital era, particularly by integrating traditional and contemporary perspectives on global market expansion.

The data utilized consist of annual financial reports acquired via documentation analysis. The evaluation applies financial ratios encompassing liquidity, solvency, and profitability, which are subsequently benchmarked against industry norms to gauge the firm’s financial condition. Findings reveal that the company’s revenue exhibited an ascending pattern from 2021 to 2024, albeit with a downturn in 2025. Regarding liquidity, the firm maintains a satisfactory standing, evidenced by a current ratio exceeding 100% nevertheless, the quick ratio indicates that liquidity has not attained full optimality. In terms of solvency, the capital structure is deemed sound, characterized by stable debt proportions and managed financial risks. Meanwhile, profitability ratios rose during the initial phase of the study period but diminished toward its conclusion, though they persist at a reasonably solid level. In summary, the financial performance of PT Astra International Tbk is regarded as stable, albeit enhancements are required in asset utilization efficiency and profit maximization. This research is anticipated to furnish a thorough depiction of the company’s financial status and function as a foundation for managerial and investment decisions.
