Abstract

The type of research is qualitative using a phenomenological approach. The results of the research show that The Family Hope Programme (PKH) is a conditional social assistance programme that is effective in improving access to education and health care and alleviating the economic burden on underprivileged families. From a socio-economic perspective, PKH contributes significantly to reducing the risk of extreme poverty, improving basic welfare, and encouraging positive behavioural change in beneficiary families. However, its implementation still faces a number of weaknesses, such as the potential for dependence on assistance, inaccuracy in targeting recipients, limited assistance, and suboptimal long-term economic empowerment efforts. Therefore, PKH needs to be strengthened through improved data accuracy, more effective assistance, and integration with economic empowerment programmes so that the goals of self-reliance and sustainable poverty eradication can be achieved.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of the digital landscape has forced organizations to redefine their leadership paradigms to maintain workforce productivity, particularly among the tech-savvy Generation Z. This study aims to explore the role of Digital Leadership Transformation in enhancing the performance of Generation Z employees. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with leaders and Generation Z subordinates in various digital-based industries, complemented by thematic analysis. The findings indicate that digital leadership is not merely about technological proficiency but involves a fundamental shift in mindset toward transparency, agility, and collaborative empowerment. Generation Z employees perceive digital leadership transformation as a critical driver for their performance, as it fosters a work environment that values flexibility and rapid feedback. The study identifies three key pillars of effective digital leadership: digital vision, digital social capital, and digital adaptability. These elements collectively minimize the "generational gap" and align organizational goals with the intrinsic motivations of Gen Z. In conclusion, a successful transformation into a digital leader significantly boosts Generation Z’s engagement and output by providing the autonomy and digital infrastructure they require. This research suggests that organizations must prioritize leadership development programs that focus on digital empathy and decentralized decision-making to optimize the potential of their youngest workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to examine employee perceptions of the influence of job satisfaction and self-efficacy on employee retention decisions at PT Sumo Internusa. The method used was a qualitative approach with an in-depth interview approach with 15 employees selected based on certain criteria, to obtain in-depth information regarding the factors influencing their retention decisions. The results showed that job satisfaction has a significant influence on employee decisions to remain with the company. Factors such as a conducive work environment, adequate compensation, and good relationships with superiors and coworkers are important elements in shaping job satisfaction levels. Meanwhile, self-efficacy, which reflects employees' confidence in their abilities to perform their duties, also plays a role in retention decisions. Employees with high levels of self-efficacy tend to be more satisfied with their jobs and more committed to remaining with the company. This study reveals that companies need to consider both factors in their employee retention strategies, in order to retain quality human resources and reduce employee turnover rates.

Abstract

This research investigates the profound shift in purchasing behavior among Generation Z individuals residing in densely populated urban centers, focusing on the emergence of mindful consumption as a core lifestyle choice. While modern marketing literature often portrays this demographic as impulsive and digitally driven, this study employs a transcendental phenomenological approach to uncover the lived experiences and deeper philosophical motivations behind their conscious decision to consume less and more intentionally. Through in-depth, semi-structured interviews with young consumers in major metropolitan areas, the study explores how the pressures of urban consumerism and the constant influx of digital advertisements trigger a reflective transition toward mindfulness. The findings reveal that mindful consumption for Gen Z is not merely an environmental statement but a complex negotiation of identity and a form of resistance against the fast-paced, throwaway culture prevalent in city life. Participants described a journey of "unlearning" traditional consumer success metrics, replacing them with values of durability, ethical production, and emotional well-being. This research identifies that the urban environment acts as both a catalyst for stress and a unique backdrop for the manifestation of minimalist practices. By providing a nuanced understanding of these internal psychological drivers, the study contributes significantly to the transformative consumer research framework. The practical implications suggest that brands must pivot from quantity-driven strategies to value-based engagement to remain relevant to this increasingly skeptical yet conscious cohort, ultimately fostering a more sustainable and ethical market ecosystem in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Person–Organization Fit on employee performance at PT. Rimba Borneo Cemerlang. The research approach used is quantitative associative with a survey method. The study population includes all 200 employees of PT. Rimba Borneo Cemerlang, with a sample size of 133 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected through a Likert-scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that Person–Organization Fit has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the calculated t value of 3.653 which is greater than the t table of 1.96 with a significance level of 0.001. In addition, the results of the determination coefficient test show an R Square value of 0.441, which indicates that Person–Organization Fit is able to explain 44.1% of the variation in employee performance, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the research model. This finding confirms that the compatibility between individual values, goals, and characteristics with organizational culture is an important factor in improving employee performance. Therefore, organizations are advised to integrate value alignment into human resource management policies to support the achievement of optimal and sustainable performance.
