Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of learning the Safinatun Najah book in improving female students' understanding of women's fiqh at Al Intiqol Islamic Boarding School, Cianjur. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, this research involved 10 female students as participants. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, cognitive tests, and documentation. The learning process was carried out using the bandongan method during general lectures and the sorogan method during supervised group study sessions. The materials focus on women's fiqh, especially menstruation (menstruation), postpartum bleeding (nifas), irregular bleeding (istihadhah), and purification (thaharah). The results indicate that the Safinatun Najah learning method has a positive impact on students' comprehension, as demonstrated by significant improvement in their ability to distinguish between types of blood and understand purification laws. This improvement was supported by cognitive test results where 8 out of 10 participants scored above 80, and interviews confirmed a better understanding of fiqh principles. In conclusion, the implementation of Safinatun Najah plays an essential role in shaping female students' understanding of women's fiqh in the Islamic boarding school environment.

Abstract

The mental and spiritual development of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) soldiers is a strategic aspect in developing professional military human resources with high moral integrity. The background of this research is based on the importance of ensuring that the Mental Development Program (BINTAL) is not merely administrative or ceremonial, but is truly internalized in the lives of soldiers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BINTAL Program, the level of soldiers' religiosity, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in strengthening the soldiers' personalities and ethics. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, which are analyzed using the mental development theories of Mangunhardjana and Zakiah Daradjat, as well as the religiosity theories of Glock and Stark. The results show that the implementation of the BINTAL Program has been structured and relevant to the soldiers' spiritual needs through routine religious studies, premarital briefings, and spiritual guidance that touches on practical and emotional dimensions. The level of soldiers' religiosity tends to be positive although varied, with ideological, ritualistic, experiential, intellectual, and consequential dimensions beginning to form. Supporting factors such as unit leadership, active spiritual guidance, and military discipline are pillars of success, while obstacles include the density of military activities and differences in religious backgrounds. This study confirms that the BINTAL Program is effective in developing religious, mentally resilient, and ethical soldiers when implemented with a humanistic, structured approach and supported by a strong organizational culture.

Abstract

Indonesia is characterized by a rich mix of ethnic groups, cultures, languages, and religions, making it essential to promote multicultural values ??to ensure unity among its people. Nonetheless, issues such as intolerance, discrimination, hate speech, and conflicts related to ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations frequently arise, often fueled by social media platforms. The verses 10 to 13 of QS. Al-Hujurat conveys teachings about brotherhood, mutual respect, equality, and the need to shun discrimination. Ibn Kathir's interpretation highlights that true human worth is determined by one's piety rather than ethnic background or social rank. This study seeks to contextualize the multicultural principles present in these verses, aiming for their implementation in educational settings to cultivate a peaceful, respectful, and harmonious learning environment. The research uses a qualitative approach, specifically through library research. The sources of data include Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Azim by Ibn Kathir, the Qur'an itself, and pertinent literature addressing multiculturalism. The results show that the multicultural values ??recognized include tolerance, equality, justice, democracy, and fraternity. By integrating these values ??into education, it is possible to enhance unity and create a harmonious learning environment amid the existing diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine classroom management strategies in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Tarikh Islam at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) Al-Ikhlas Bojongpicung, Cianjur. The teaching of Tarikh Islam at the institution faces methodological challenges and limited facilities, resulting in low academic achievement among students. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data collection techniques include observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, which were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that classroom management strategies were implemented systematically, including seating arrangements, structured time allocation, group discussions, and the use of simple learning media. Supporting factors include student enthusiasm, teacher experience, and institutional support. The main obstacles stem from students' varied abilities, limited instructional media, and large class sizes. Nevertheless, the applied strategies effectively enhanced student engagement, evaluation scores, and learning responsibility. Periodic evaluations further strengthen the effectiveness of classroom management in achieving the learning objectives of Tarikh Islam.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of less than optimal implementation of religious values ????in students at school, such as low discipline in worship, lack of social awareness, and minimal parental role in supporting character building at home. This creates a gap between the values ????taught and students' daily behavior. Al Ma'shum Mardiyah Integrated Junior High School tries to bridge this gap through the application of the values ????of the 8 pillars of human relationships, including relationships with Allah SWT, the Prophet Muhammad SAW, parents, teachers, others, older people, younger people, and the environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of the values ????of the 8 pillars of human relationships on the formation of religious character of students at Al Ma'shum Mardiyah Integrated Junior High School, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency. The research method uses an associative quantitative approach with Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests, linearity, simple regression, coefficient of determination, and t-test. The results of the study showed a regression coefficient of 0.726, which is included in the strong category, with the contribution of variable X to Y of 52.7%, while 47.3% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The t-test obtained a calculated t-value of 12.3502, which is greater than the t-table of 2.0930, with a significance of 1.59 × 10?1?< 0.05. This proves that there is a significant influence of the values ??of the 8 pillars of the human relationship path on students' religious character. Thus, the null hypothesis (H?) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H?) accepted.

Abstract

The problem of students' Islamic character remains a challenge in education, especially in the era of globalization influenced by social media and the weakening role of the family environment. At MTs Islamiyah Cianjur, various problems were found, such as student truancy, lying, brawls, and declining manners and speech. To address this, the school developed a character-building program with a focus on collaboration between Guidance and Counseling (BK) and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results showed that BK teachers not only carry out administrative duties but also play a role in developing students' moral and spiritual development. Meanwhile, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers act as spiritual educators, fostering awareness of Islamic values ??in a personal and contextual manner. The collaboration between the two, built on open and complementary communication, has proven effective in shaping students' Islamic character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal protection of child custody after divorce under Article 41 of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. The focus of this study is on the practice taking place at the Cianjur Class 1A Religious Court. This study uses an empirical juridical method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, document study, and interviews with judges and court clerks. The results show that the protection of children's rights has been considered in the verdict, but its implementation still faces obstacles such as weak post-decision supervision, minimal parental legal awareness, and emotional conflict between parties. Judges use the principle of the best interest of the child and sometimes consider the results of mediation and the psychosocial conditions of the child and parents. Therefore, strengthening regulations, legal education, and the establishment of effective oversight mechanisms are needed to optimize legal protection for children.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of low emotional involvement and interest of students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, especially in students who experience a lag in understanding the material compared to their peers. The purpose of this study is to describe in depth how the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach is implemented and analyze the dynamics of changes in student learning interest after this approach is implemented. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type at SDN Cipeuyeum 04 Cianjur. The research subjects were selected purposively, including PAI teachers and fifth grade students who have varying learning abilities. Data collection techniques were carried out through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study show that: (1) The implementation of TaRL changes interaction patterns in the classroom to be more inclusive through ability-based grouping; (2) Students' learning interest grows due to a sense of psychological safety, where students no longer feel embarrassed or afraid of making mistakes; (3) Personalization of materials eliminates cognitive pressure, thereby changing passive students into participatory ones.
