Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning conditions of Islamic Cultural History (ISCR) at SMA Negeri 1 Ciranjang, which still tends to be monotonous and has not adapted to the diverse learning styles of students, resulting in low understanding and motivation to learn. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategies of Islamic Education teachers in implementing process differentiation, its implementation in grade XI, and the form of student understanding of ISCR material. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field study method, through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results show that teachers apply process differentiation strategies through methods such as group discussions and mind mapping that are adapted to student characteristics. The implementation of this strategy has been proven to increase student engagement and understanding. Thus, process differentiation can be an effective approach in creating more adaptive and meaningful ISCR learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of sales proneness on consumer responses to quitline-based smoking cessation service advertisements. Smoking behavior remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia and globally, so effective communication strategies are needed to encourage behavior change, one of which is through public service advertisements combined with quitline services. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and explanatory research design to test the causal relationship between the sales proneness variable as the independent variable and consumer responses as the dependent variable. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire from respondents who had been exposed to smoking cessation service advertisements, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, and simple linear regression. The results showed that sales proneness had a positive and significant effect on consumer responses with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.65. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.420 indicates that sales proneness is able to explain 42% of the variation in consumer responses, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings indicate that individuals with a high propensity for persuasive stimuli respond more readily to smoking cessation advertisements, both in terms of attention, attitude, and behavioral intention. Therefore, psychological factors such as sales proneness are crucial in designing more effective and targeted health communication strategies to support smoking reduction efforts in the community.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how visual communication from food vloggers shapes the responses and behaviors of Generation Z in Denpasar, Bali. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study integrates Smith's (2005) Visual Communication Theory to analyze elements such as color, framing, and presentation, alongside Hovland's (1953) SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) Theory to understand how visual stimuli trigger emotional and cognitive responses. The informants group consists of 11 individuals: 3 influential Bali-based food vloggers and 8 Generation Z respondents (two from each of Denpasar's four districts). Data were gathered through interviews and observations, then analyzed using the interactive model consisting of data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that visually appealing and creatively presented food vlogger content significantly increases the interest, attention, and decision-making of Generation Z in choosing food. This study emphasizes the importance of visual communication strategies in shaping consumer behavior in the digital era. Future research is suggested to explore different social media platforms or utilize quantitative methods to measure the impact of specific visual variables on a larger scale. This paper includes 1 table of informant data, 10 visual content images, and 5 appendixes.

Abstract

Divorce is a socio-legal phenomenon that continues to rise in Indonesia, including in Cianjur Regency, where many divorce cases are decided through verstek (default judgment). This raises issues regarding wives' rights, particularly livelihood iddah and mut'ah, which must still be provided even if the wife is absent in court. This study aims to analyze judicial considerations in determining livelihood iddah and mut'ah in verstek divorce cases, factors influencing the amount, and the application of justice principles. A qualitative-empirical approach was applied through interviews with a judge of the Cianjur Religious Court who handled case Number 975/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Cjr, supported by document analysis and literature review. The findings reveal that decisions are based on Law Number 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law, considering the husband's economic capacity, the wife's standard of living, and marriage duration. Legal, socio-economic, and utility factors also matter. Justice appears in proportional rulings protecting wives' rights without overburdening husbands.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of Islamic boarding school learning in the digital era by highlighting how Islamic boarding schools strive to maintain scholarly traditions while responding to technological developments. The research focuses on the Al-Intiqol Islamic Boarding School in Cianjur, a representative of traditional Islamic boarding schools that emphasize the preservation of tradition, and the Al-Ittihad Islamic Boarding School in Cianjur, a modern Islamic boarding school that integrates technology into the learning process without losing the essence of Islamic boarding school education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that focuses on the dynamics of learning in Islamic boarding schools in the digital era, particularly in balancing the preservation of tradition and adaptation to technology. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the leaders of the Al-Intiqol Cianjur Islamic boarding schools and the Al-Ittihad Cianjur Islamic boarding schools, participant observation of the teaching and learning process, and analysis of relevant documents. The sampling technique was carried out purposively to obtain informants who have direct knowledge and experience related to the phenomenon studied. Data analysis was carried out descriptively-qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, which were validated through sources to ensure the validity of the research findings. The research results show that Al-Intiqol Islamic Boarding School emphasizes traditional teaching methods based on yellow books, sorogan, and bandongan, but has begun to allow for limited use of digital media to support learning. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad Islamic Boarding School has successfully developed an adaptive learning model by combining the formal curriculum, digital technology, and traditional methods, creating a synergy between preserving tradition and educational innovation. This study concludes that the dynamics of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era are not simply a matter of choosing between tradition and modernization, but rather an effort to blend the two to remain relevant to the needs of the times while maintaining the identity of Islamic boarding schools as centers of Islamic religious learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate digital communication framing on public trust in the era of digital transformation, with public perception acting as a mediating variable. The research hypothesizes that (1) digital communication framing significantly influences public perception, (2) public perception significantly affects public trust, and (3) framing also has a direct effect on public trust. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using a survey method. Data were collected from 150 respondents in Indonesia who actively use digital media and have been exposed to corporate communication content, selected through purposive sampling. The study measured three main variables—digital communication framing, public perception, and public trust—using Likert-scale questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate measurement and structural models. The results reveal that digital communication framing has a significant positive effect on public perception (? = 0.762; p < 0.001), while public perception significantly influences public trust (? = 0.681; p < 0.001). Additionally, framing has a smaller but significant direct effect on public trust (? = 0.245; p < 0.01). Mediation analysis confirms that public perception partially mediates the relationship between framing and trust. These findings imply that effective communication strategies should emphasize not only message delivery but also message framing to enhance credibility and trust. The study contributes to communication theory by integrating framing and the SOR model and provides practical insights for organizations in designing transparent digital communication. Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of e-government in enhancing transparency and accountability in public governance. The research hypothesizes that e-government has a significant positive effect on transparency and accountability, and that transparency mediates the relationship between e-government and accountability. This study employs a quantitative explanatory research design using a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from 180 respondents who have experience using e-government services in Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The variables examined include e-government, transparency, and accountability, measured using validated indicators and Likert-scale questionnaires. The results show that e-government has a significant positive effect on transparency (? = 0.754; p < .001) and accountability (? = 0.782; p < .001), while transparency also significantly influences accountability (? = 0.468; p < .001), confirming its mediating role. These findings indicate that the implementation of e-government enhances public information accessibility and strengthens accountability mechanisms. The implications of this study suggest that governments should strengthen digital governance strategies by improving infrastructure, promoting open data initiatives, and enhancing digital literacy to ensure effective and inclusive public services. This study contributes to the digital governance literature by integrating technological and institutional perspectives. The article includes 20 references, 4 tables, 4 figures, and a structured questionnaire as the research instrument.

Abstract

This study examines the shift in assessment paradigms and practices among elementary school teachers following the transition from the 2013 Curriculum (Kurikulum 2013/K-13) to the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The study focuses on two issues: the changing orientation from summative assessment toward formative assessment, and the implementation challenges associated with project-based assessment, particularly the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). A descriptive survey with a mixed-method design was conducted at Hasanah Quranic School (HQS) Bekasi. Quantitative data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire completed by 17 teachers, while qualitative data were obtained through open-ended responses and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that teachers demonstrated a relatively strong conceptual understanding of formative assessment as a tool for improving learning (M = 3.88) and reported frequent use of feedback practices (M = 3.82). However, teachers’ understanding of P5 assessment methodology remained at a neutral level (M = 3.29), suggesting methodological uncertainty in assessing project-based learning through qualitative and narrative evidence. Qualitative findings confirmed three major challenges: the demand for teacher creativity and innovation, instability in report-card administration systems, and the suboptimal implementation of P5. The study concludes that the philosophical orientation of formative assessment has been generally accepted by teachers, but implementation quality still depends on practical training, shared assessment instruments, systematic documentation of learning evidence, and consistent school-level guidance for P5 reporting

The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and obtained samples in this study amounting to 72 respondents. Data analysis using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, analysts correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis and hypothesis test. The result of this study is that the environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 9.990 + 0.816X1, the correlation value obtained is 0.783 meaning that the two variables have a strong level of relationship. The value of the coefficient of determination is 61.3%. Test the hypothesis obtained the value of t count > t table or (10,553 > 1,994). Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted meaning this means that there is a significant influence of the environment on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 4.888 + 0.892X2, the correlation value is obtained at 0.890 meaning that the two variables have a very strong level of relationship. The value of the coefficient of determination is 79.2%. Test the hypothesis obtained the value of t count > t table or (16.331 > 1.994). Thus, H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence of work motivation on employee performance. Work environment and motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 2.783 + 0.191X1 + 0.744X2, the correlation value or level of relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is obtained at 0.896 meaning that it has a relationship that is very powerful. The value of the coefficient of determination or contribution of influence simultaneously amounted to 80.4% while the remaining 19.6% was influenced by other factors. Test the hypothesis obtained the value of f count > f table or (141,256 > 3,130). Thus H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that there is a simultaneous significant influence of the environment and work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

The proliferation of digital health content has fundamentally transformed how Generation Z adopts wellness habits, yet it also introduces risks such as health misinformation and unrealistic body ideals. This study is significant as it explores social media's role within Bali’s global wellness hub. Despite extensive marketing literature, a research gap exists regarding how influencers move beyond transactional promotion toward the long-term internalization of preventive health behaviors. This research aims to analyze the communication strategies and impression management techniques used by Bali based wellness influencers to cultivate sustainable lifestyles. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through the triangulation of digital observations on TikTok and Instagram, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that influencers leverage Bali’s "aestheticized wellness" and cultural prestige to construct authenticity, shifting the focus from short-term purchase intentions to identity-driven community engagement. Specifically, integrating trends like "sober curious" and mental health awareness catalyzes significant lifestyle transformations among followers. Results further indicate that highly curated visual narratives are more effective than conventional health education in triggering behavioral changes among Gen Z. In conclusion, wellness influencers act as social architects defining new norms for holistic well-being. Future research should investigate the long-term sustainability of these shifts and how platform algorithms impact the dissemination of preventive health messages.
