Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving employee performance at Hermina Ciputat Hospital by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The main problem faced by the hospital lies in declining productivity and performance gaps between service units. A quantitative descriptive approach was used to identify the most influential factors contributing to performance improvement, focusing on four main criteria: competence, motivation, training, and reward systems. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews involving 30 respondents, consisting of medical staff, paramedics, and administrative employees. The AHP method was employed to calculate the priority weights and consistency ratios of each factor. The results revealed that competence had the highest priority weight (0.43), followed by motivation (0.27), training (0.19), and reward systems (0.11), with a consistency ratio (CR) of 0.04, indicating valid consistency. These findings highlight that improving employee competence through continuous training programs is the most effective strategy to enhance performance. Furthermore, employee motivation should be strengthened by implementing fair reward policies, encouraging participation in decision-making, and fostering a collaborative work culture. This study contributes to the development of strategic human resource management policies in hospitals, particularly in enhancing employee performance through competency-based approaches. The results are expected to serve as a practical guide for Hermina Ciputat Hospital management in implementing sustainable performance improvement strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of leadership style, organizational culture, and career development in improving human resource (HR) performance through a qualitative approach. The leadership style applied in an organization can shape communication patterns, motivation, and relationships between leaders and employees, which in turn affect individual performance. Meanwhile, organizational culture formed from shared values, norms, and habits creates a work climate that supports or hinders productivity. Career development also plays an important role in providing opportunities for employees to improve their skills and knowledge, which has an impact on job satisfaction and overall performance. This study uses in-depth interviews and participant observation to explore views from various parties in the organization regarding the influence of these three factors on HR performance. The results show that empowering leadership, positive organizational culture, and support for career development have a close relationship with improving HR performance. These findings provide important insights for organizations to understand how these internal factors can be optimized to achieve better performance.

Abstract

This article examines the transformation of the Toyota Kijang from a simple commercial vehicle to an iconic family vehicle in Indonesia during the period 1977–1996. As part of the national policy through the Multipurpose Commercial Vehicle Program (KNBS), the Toyota Kijang was initially designed to meet the transportation and distribution needs of goods amidst national development. However, over time, this vehicle underwent a shift in function to become a family vehicle reflecting the economic stability and social aspirations of the Indonesian people. This research uses a historical method with a descriptive qualitative approach, which is based on the analysis of primary data from Television Republik Indonesia (TVRI) advertisement documentation, print media, and digital archives. The main focus of this study is Toyota's marketing communication strategy, particularly the use of mass media and emotional approaches in advertising, including the involvement of celebrities as endorsers. The analysis also includes the application of the marketing mix (7Ps): product, price, promotion, place, process, people, and physical evidence. The results of the study indicate that the success of the Toyota Kijang lies not only in the technical quality of the product, but also in the ability to adapt to changes in media policy, consumer cultural sensitivity, and the power of advertising narratives in building brand image. Through an integrated and contextual communication strategy, Toyota Kijang was able to occupy a central position in the Indonesian automotive landscape while simultaneously forming a new culture in the lives of middle-class families during the New Order era.

Abstract

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam that plays a significant role in the economy, particularly in reducing economic inequality and fostering social welfare. This study aims to analyze the application of zakat in Islamic law in North Cikarang, Bekasi, and its impact on reducing economic disparities in society. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study on several zakat institutions operating in the area. The findings show that effectively managed zakat can have a positive impact in assisting underprivileged communities; however, challenges remain in terms of optimal distribution and management. Factors such as the lack of public understanding of zakat and the limited facilities and resources of zakat institutions become significant barriers in achieving the goal of reducing economic inequality. Despite this, zakat given to the community can be utilized for business capital, education, and healthcare, which in turn contributes to improving the quality of life. Therefore, enhanced coordination between the government, zakat institutions, and the public is necessary to maximize the potential of zakat in reducing economic inequality and achieving social justice in North Cikarang. This research is expected to provide deeper insights into the effectiveness of zakat as a tool for attaining more equitable economic welfare

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital technology era, the role of data analytics has become increasingly vital in optimizing digital marketing strategies. Data analytics enables marketers to gain deeper insights into consumer behavior, allowing them to make more informed and targeted decisions. Through the use of big data, machine learning, and advanced analytics algorithms, companies can identify market trends, consumer preferences, and areas that need improvement in their marketing strategies. Data analytics also facilitates the personalization of marketing messages, improving conversion rates and customer loyalty. Furthermore, analytics technologies provide real-time insights, enabling swift decision-making and responsiveness to changing market dynamics. On the other hand, challenges in implementing data analytics include the need for adequate technological infrastructure, data analysis skills, and the safeguarding of consumer data privacy and security. Therefore, integrating data analytics into digital marketing strategies requires special attention to both technical and ethical aspects. With proper utilization, data analytics can serve as a highly valuable tool in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of digital marketing.

Abstract

This research investigates the practice of integrating knowledge, science, and religion in early childhood education, specifically at the 'Berkah Amanah' Private Calistung Tutoring Center. In light of the prevailing tendency to separate science and religious education, this study seeks to explore how these two domains are harmoniously integrated in the teaching of reading, writing, and arithmetic (calistung). Employing a qualitative case study approach, this research employs observation, interviews, and document analysis to uncover two primary practices that facilitate this integration. Firstly, a visual-thematic learning method is employed, which combines cognitive science principles with religious content. Second, the cultivation of learning etiquette (adab) serves as a foundational element for cognitive readiness. Through an analysis using Ian G. Barbour's typology, it is evident that the practices at this institution align with the Dialogue and Integration models. This suggests that the unification of science and religion can be effectively implemented within the context of primary education. This study explores the practice of integrating science, knowledge, and religion in early childhood education, by taking a case study at Berkah Amanah Private Tutoring Center. Amidst the tendency of dichotomy between science and religion education, this study aims to identify how the two domains are synthesized in learning to read, write, and count (calistung). This study uses a qualitative case study approach, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that integration is realized through two main practices: (1) a visual-thematic learning method that combines cognitive science principles with religious content, and (2) instilling learning etiquette as a foundation for cognitive readiness. Analysis using Ian G. Barbour's typology shows that the practice at this institution represents the Dialogue and Integration model, proving that the integration of science and religion can be implemented effectively in the context of elementary education.
