Abstract

In writing learning process at RAM NU East Rowokembu, there are difficulties because students often need to remember the shape of the letters of the alphabet, so writing the letters is unclear. This condition allowed the writer to conduct classroom action research in two cycles. This research aims to improve the ability to write letters using a demonstration method assisted by wipe-clean worksheet media for children in group B RAM NU East Rowokembu. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative. The subjects of this research were ten children in class B1 RAM NU East Rowokembu. It is said that the capacity to write letters is successful if the percentage reaches 75 -100% with the criteria of developing according to expectations (BSH). The research results showed that the ability to write letters in the pre-action stage reached an average percentage value of 10%. Then improvements were made in cycle I, which increased slightly with an average percentage of 30%. After the first cycle of intervention succeeded in influencing the ability to write letters, the level of success had yet to be achieved, so the next cycle needed to be carried out. Abstract

This research aims to improve children's ability to recognize letters through letter card media in AR-RIDHO Kindergarten, Jambi City. In its implementation, there are two cycles of this research: actions in classroom action research. Kindergarten in Group B AR-RIDHO as research participants, totalling nine students. The second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year was used for this investigation. Observation is the approach used to obtain data. The observation sheet is the instrument used in this research to collect data. Utilizing qualitative descriptive data analysis. A child's proficiency in letter recognition is said to have increased if the proportion of the child's proficiency reaches 88.89% with suitable criteria. Children's pre-action letter recognition skills meet the criteria of not being good, with an average increase in letter recognition of 58.65%. The children's average score of 77.22% in cycle I show they can recognize letters, meeting the required criteria. The second action cycle was necessary because, although there had been improvements after the first, children's letter recognition skills still needed to reach the mark of success. According to Cycle II data, the average child's letter recognition is 88.89%, which is good.

Abstract

One of the cognitive abilities possessed by children aged four to five years is the ability to recognize number symbols. The low ability of group B children of the Tompegunung Makmur Pioneer KB in identifying numbers was the reason why this study was carried out. Learning activities using number card media can help children become more proficient in recognizing number symbols from 1 to 10. This research aims to improve recognition of number symbols 1–10 using number card media in group B KB Perintis Tompegunung Makmur. This form of research is called classroom action research, and has two cycles. Group B students of KB Perintis Tompegunung Makmur were study participants. The results showed that during pre-action to cycle II, children's recognition of the number symbols 1–10 increased. Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the improvement of cognitive abilities of group B children, especially in the aspect of recognizing symbols and number concepts, through the implementation of Number Card media in Admajaria Kindergarten, Bojonegoro Regency. The main problem of this study is the low initial cognitive achievement, which is indicated by the pre-cycle completion percentage of 35.71% with an average value of 65.00. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design model of Kemmis and McTaggart which was implemented in two cycles, with 14 Group B children (8 boys and 6 girls) as subjects. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. The criteria for success of the action was set at 75% classical learning completion. The results of the study showed a significant and sustainable increase: in Cycle I, the completion percentage reached 64.28%; then in Cycle II, the completion percentage increased sharply to 85.71% with an average value of 80.00. These results have exceeded the set targets, proving that the use of Number Card media combined with active play strategies is effective and feasible for improving cognitive abilities, especially number recognition, in early childhood.
