Abstract

Skin is part of the outer layer of the human body which is flexible, soft and sensitive and is the first line of defense from various germs, viruses, bacteria and what is very important and the main part is facial skin, therefore we must keep it healthy, fresh and clean by determining proper beauty facial treatment. This research was conducted to design and create an expert system capable of identifying facial skin types to determine facial beauty treatments. Making this expert system using forward chaining method. The result of this research is an application that can help make it easier for users to determine facial facial treatments without having to queue and wait for consultations with a beauty doctor, so that they can immediately determine the appropriate type of skin facial treatment through the Android application.

Abstract

Nutritional status in toddlers is one of the indicators used to describe the quality of toddler health. Toddlers’ nutritional status is interpreted based on some indices, namely weight for age, length/height for age, and weight for length/height Z-score. The nutritional status of toddlers is affected by various factors, both maternal and child factors. Anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy affect a toddler’s nutrition status. Birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food may result in a toddler’s nutrition status as well. This study aims to compare the mother’s and toddler’s characteristics based on the nutritional status of the toddler. This was an observational analytical cross-sectional study. All data for the analysis of this paper were obtained from observations of the toddlers, interviews with mothers, and recorded data from KIA book. Toddlers’ weight and length/height were measured when the subject came to Posyandu. Questions about exclusive breastfeeding and complementary food were asked of mothers. Information about anaemia and chronic energy deficiency status was obtained from KIA book. This study used chi-square test to finds evidence that, on 88 subjects, there is no difference in anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food among all nutritional status indices.

Abstract

The Basic Health Research in 2018 showed that the prevalence of non-communicable diseases including cancer, stroke, chronic kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension increased in Indonesia. The main risk factors are metabolic factors, behavioral factors, and environmental factors. Based on the existing problems, an Android-based intelligent application for the diagnosis and mapping of 10 diseases was proposed at the Teaching Factory Nutrition Care Center. This application development used the Expert System Development Life Cycle model and Dart Language. The framework used is Flutter. This article only discusses the implementation and testing of applications made based on Android. This application was developed to perform a diagnosis based on some patients’ data. This application is used as a reference for early detection of a disease, allowing patients to take preventive measures. It can map the number of patients who had health consultations in each department. The users of the application were a doctor, nutritionist or health consultant at the Teaching Factory Nutrition Care Center. System functionality tested using Blackbox-testing showed that the application ran well.

Abstract

Manual management of medical records at the Polije Polyclinic causes long data retrieval time, misfiling, and requiring a lot of spaces for storage, thus hampering health services. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are one type of medical record management that can be used to solve the issue. EMR is built based on Software as a Service (SaaS) which enables it to be used by all healthcare providers with minimal infrastructure and optimal data integration. The application used a single identity number for each patient, and it caused less redundancy in patient registration data. Developed using the Waterfall method, it was processed at several stages: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The EMR system had some features: recording history, diagnosis, and therapy. In the diagnosis section, the system had a disease code related to ICD-10. It can be concluded that the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is ready to be implemented in the POLIJE polyclinic. The implementation of EMR is important to reinforce the Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records.

Abstract

Physical hazards are one of the several types of dangers in Occupational Health and Safety. Companies or industries that use machines in their work processes have the potential to cause a physical hazard. One of the physical hazards is noise. Noise exposure can have an impact on employee health, namely hearing loss. A decrease in hearing threshold values can cause communication disorders and concentration problems. Variables of sound intensity, period of work, age, and disease history can influence the reduction in hearing threshold values. The results of a preliminary study on workers at PT. X indicates the sound intensity is above the threshold value, namely 86dB and 16.6% of workers experience hearing loss. The aim of this research is to determine the factors related to the hearing threshold values of workers at PT. X. The methodology in this research uses a cross-sectional approach. This study had 30 workers as samples using total sampling techniques. The results showed that the sound intensity factors (ρ = 0.030) and disease history (ρ = 0.013) were related to the hearing threshold value. Meanwhile, the factors of work experience (ρ = 0.704) and age (ρ = 1.000) are not related to the hearing threshold value. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between sound intensity and history of illness with the hearing threshold value of workers at PT. X.
