Abstract

Electronic Health Record (EHR) is an electronic version of a patient's medical history maintained by a health care service from time to time. The hacking of medical record data by irresponsible parties is a security threat to the EHR system, including the EHR system belonging to the Jember Family Health Home Clinic which is not equipped with a file security system. This research was conducted by designing file security on the EHR system with the Triple DES (3DES) algorithm using UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams. The Triple DES (3DES) algorithm was chosen because it is considered secure in securing files. The results of this study are the design of adding file security with 3DES to the EHR system to help maintain the confidentiality of vital medical record data. Further research can be done by building a file security system using 3DES according to the design that has been made.

Abstract

Medical record retention activities that have been carried out at Polyclinic X Jember Regency have encountered obstacles in sorting files that are still manual, starting with the officer checking the month and year of the patient's last visit to the Polyclinic's SIM Clinic, then taking several medical records on the storage rack and recording the medical record number for sorting. There are quite a lot of files on the storage rack, making officers have to sort the files one by one. The type of research used R&D with the Waterfall system development method, namely Requirement Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, also Operation and Maintenance. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations with 2 respondents, namely the head of polyclinic and medical records officers. This study aims to design and create a web-based medical record retention information system by minimizing errors in sorting medical record files and facilitating the performance of medical record officers in the filing section. The result of this research is a web-based medical record retention information system created using the PHP programming language.

Abstract

The Nutrition Care Center (NCC) is one of the teaching factories (TEFA) at Politeknik Negeri Jember that provides community nutrition services. Preliminary data collection found that the factory did not have complete health database of their staff so that nutritionists find it difficult to screen for non-communicable disease risk factors. In this study, the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) equipped with Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) was incorporated to record, retrieve, archive, and update patients and other medical records in the NCC. This system provides easier health record management for the nutritionist team at the NCC TEFA Politeknik Negeri Jember. Medical records help them conduct screening on non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors and make clinical decision support for doctors/counselors which have missions to reduce NCD cases in the productive age. This study used a waterfall method model and collected data through a literature review, observation, and interviews. The results produced an application of a clinic database management in which all data and information could be integrated well to improve the quality of services and facilitate data storage and access. This study concludes that the EHRs generates quick and accurate information to support operations and decision-making in the NCC.

Abstract

Tobacco is an agricultural product that uses leaves to be processed into pesticides, medicines and cigarettes. Tobacco quality is determined by plant maintenance and reduced pest and disease attacks. To avoid these disturbances, control is needed quickly, precisely and accurately so that the tobacco plant disease cannot spread throughout agricultural land. In making fuzzy, diseases and symptoms in tobacco plants are used as a rule base in making a fuzzy expert system. The expert system created in this research is an expert system using the concept of fuzzy logic to diagnose tobacco plant diseases, using the Mamdani inference method and the defuzzification process using the centroid method (firmness value) to get the right conclusions in diagnosing tobacco plant diseases. From the results of Mamdani's design and manual fuzzy calculations, it can be concluded that the design is ready to be further implemented into the required programming language. From the sample calculation results, it was found that damping off disease has a moderate degree of risk with a value of 41.54. With the construction of this system, it will provide easy information for farmers to carry out and find out what symptoms are contracting diseases in tobacco plants.

Abstract

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) becomes a solution to help humans connect with computers. Research and tools related to HCI have been developed by many researchers. HCI is able to help humans connect between humans and computers and humans with humans at a considerable distance. One of HCI model is applied to the MyoWare tool that can capture hand muscle movements using an electromyograph (EMG) sensor. This article describes how to assemble and identify the raw data generated from the MyoWare tool. Using MyoWare on the hand could produce EMG data output. MyoWare only used the EMG sensor and generated data in the form of Envelope EMG and Raw EMG which differed in scale and size. This required a extraction features process to make the data uniform. This study uses the Moment Invariant method to extract features and min-max to normalize each data generated on the MyoWare sensor. Testing was done by doing simple hand movements. The test results showed that the differences in gestures were recognized well even though they were performed in different positions.

Abstract

WHO declared COVID-19 as a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Obstacles found in ANC services during the COVID-19 pandemic were pregnant women afraid of contracting COVID-19 if they had to carry out ANC examinations at health services. ANC examinations play an important role in preventing and detecting pregnancy complications. Predisposing factors are one of the factors that influence the behavior of pregnant women in making ANC visits. Some of which are included in the predisposing factors are age and parity. This study aims to determine the effect of age and maternal parity on the number of ANC visits during the COVID-19 pandemic at RSIA AMC Metro. The sample consisted of 100 pregnant women who visited ANC between January and October 2022, and data analysis with multiple logistic regression. The majority of pregnant women were aged 20-35 years (71%), had given birth 2-4 times (36%), and made 1-5 ANC visits (82%). However, the study found that neither age nor maternal parity significantly affected the number of ANC visits during the pandemic at RSIA AMC Metro.

Abstract

Nutritional status in toddlers is one of the indicators used to describe the quality of toddler health. Toddlers’ nutritional status is interpreted based on some indices, namely weight for age, length/height for age, and weight for length/height Z-score. The nutritional status of toddlers is affected by various factors, both maternal and child factors. Anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy affect a toddler’s nutrition status. Birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food may result in a toddler’s nutrition status as well. This study aims to compare the mother’s and toddler’s characteristics based on the nutritional status of the toddler. This was an observational analytical cross-sectional study. All data for the analysis of this paper were obtained from observations of the toddlers, interviews with mothers, and recorded data from KIA book. Toddlers’ weight and length/height were measured when the subject came to Posyandu. Questions about exclusive breastfeeding and complementary food were asked of mothers. Information about anaemia and chronic energy deficiency status was obtained from KIA book. This study used chi-square test to finds evidence that, on 88 subjects, there is no difference in anaemia and chronic energy deficiency during pregnancy, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary food among all nutritional status indices.

Abstract

Manual management of medical records at the Polije Polyclinic causes long data retrieval time, misfiling, and requiring a lot of spaces for storage, thus hampering health services. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are one type of medical record management that can be used to solve the issue. EMR is built based on Software as a Service (SaaS) which enables it to be used by all healthcare providers with minimal infrastructure and optimal data integration. The application used a single identity number for each patient, and it caused less redundancy in patient registration data. Developed using the Waterfall method, it was processed at several stages: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The EMR system had some features: recording history, diagnosis, and therapy. In the diagnosis section, the system had a disease code related to ICD-10. It can be concluded that the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is ready to be implemented in the POLIJE polyclinic. The implementation of EMR is important to reinforce the Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Health Number 24 of 2022 concerning Medical Records.
