Abstract

This research aims to elaborate on the evaluation methods used by teachers at SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. Assessing students' learning outcomes is crucial for understanding their proficiency in comprehending and applying concepts of Islamic teachings. Employing a qualitative approach involving interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review, this study delves into the evaluation practices at SMA Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. Data collection and analysis reveal that teachers employ both test-based and non-test-based evaluation methods, including daily quizzes, written assignments, and behavioral observations. They ensure objectivity through clear answer keys and assessment rubrics, accommodating diverse learning styles. Evaluations are conducted gradually and strategically, integrating quantitative and qualitative results aligned with the Merdeka curriculum. Teachers address challenges of time and resources by planning evaluations systematically and adapting measurement tools to students' needs for effective and accurate assessments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Qur'anic reading ability of Grade VIIIC students at MTs Jamsaren using a descriptive qualitative method. The main focus is to gain an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing students' Qur'anic reading skills, such as learning experiences, social environment, and student motivation. Data were collected through oral tests, direct observations, and interviews with students and teachers. The analysis revealed varying levels of reading proficiency, influenced by students' understanding of tajwid, phonetic skills, and practice frequency. These findings provide a clear picture of common difficulties faced by students and the strategies used to overcome them. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for developing more effective Qur'anic learning strategies and as a reference for further research in similar Islamic education contexts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the decline of adab, such as the lack of courtesy of students to educators in behavior and in communication both inside and outside of learning. The concept of ta'dīb as the concept of educating is more focused on the process of forming morals. This study aims to determine the concept of ta'dīb in shaping students who have good morals. This research is a study that uses a qualitative approach, where the data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. For data analysis techniques, researchers use three stages, namely through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the concept of ta'dīb in shaping the morals of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sragi is through the exemplary method, habituation method, advice method, attention method, punishment method, and class confidence method. The supporting factors related to the concept of ta'dīb in shaping the morals of students at SMP Negeri 3 Sragi include the interest or awareness of each individual, the need for personal relationships between religious teachers and other teachers, the balance of relationships between family, school, and community environments. The inhibiting factors are the lack of awareness of the importance of education, especially moral education, the absence of collaboration between family, school and community environments, and the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This study's overarching goal is to enhance the Pancasila Education learning outcomes for fourth graders at SDN Besuk 1 by means of a flash card learning medium. Thirteen students participated in the study over the course of two cycles, with classroom action research (CAR) serving as the research methodology. Planning, carrying out, and finishing are the three main phases that make up each cycle. Students in fourth grade at SDN Besuk 1 showed significant improvement in their learning outcomes when exposed to flash cards as a learning medium. The learning outcomes of the students have not yet attained the minimum completion criterion (KKM) at the pre-cycle stage. The results of the first two cycles of instruction have shown an improvement in student performance with the introduction of learning media. While 84% of learners were able to finish cycle II, 61% were able to do so in cycle I. The results show that using Flash Cards as a learning tool improved students' performance.

Abstract

This classroom action research that has been carried out aims to improve the learning outcomes of first grade students at SDN Besuk 1, especially in the Pancasila Education subject through the singing method. This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of students regarding abstract materials such as symbols and values ​​of Pancasila. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out for two cycles involving 23 students. Data collection in this study was carried out in three ways, namely observation, learning outcome tests and documentation. The results obtained after carrying out the research showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes starting from 39% in the pre-cycle then to 52% in cycle I and then increasing to 82% in cycle II. Based on these data, it can be said that the singing method has proven effective in fostering concentration, increasing involvement, and understanding of students towards the material being studied. So the author suggests that the singing method can be used as an alternative as an appropriate initial strategy for learning in lower elementary school classes.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Besuk 1 through the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach supported by concrete media. The study was motivated by students’ low academic performance in mathematics and their limited engagement during the learning process. The research adopted the Kemmis and McTaggart action research model, which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 25 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observation, student learning assessments, and documentation. The instruments used included observation sheets for learning activities and evaluation test items. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum learning criteria increasing from 40% in the pre-cycle to 60% in the first cycle, and reaching 88% in the second cycle. Moreover, there was a notable improvement in students’ learning activity, particularly in terms of participation, engagement, and conceptual understanding. The use of concrete media enabled students to grasp mathematical concepts more meaningfully and contextually. Therefore, it can be concluded that the RME approach combined with concrete media is effective in enhancing fifth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of project activities to strengthen the profile of students Pancasila (P5) with the theme Bazaar “Food Agricultural Products” in developing the character and skills of students in SMA Negeri 3 Tuban. This activity is designed to provide hands-on learning experience (experiential learning) that integrates the values of Pancasila with entrepreneurial practices and utilization of local potential. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data collection through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the activities of Bazaar P5 "Food Agricultural Products" managed to develop several aspects of student character, including independence, creativity, mutual cooperation, responsibility, and concern for the environment and local wisdom. In addition, students also demonstrate improvements in critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and entrepreneurial skills. The implication of this study is the importance of the implementation of P5 as an innovative platform for the formation of a holistic Pancasila student profile and relevant to the challenges of the Times. Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays an essential role in preparing children’s physical and spiritual growth before entering primary education. It helps develop fundamental abilities, including social skills and problem-solving competence. However, observations at Kober Nurul Ihsan revealed several issues such as lack of concentration, hyperactivity, sleepiness, impatience, and haste in completing activities. These factors hinder children’s ability to follow instructions and think systematically. This study employed a quantitative experimental method conducted at Kober Nurul Ihsan Selamanik Cipaku, Ciamis Regency, involving 12 children as participants. Data were collected through observation sheets and analyzed quantitatively using SPSS. The results showed that the traditional game Dam-Daman effectively improved early childhood problem-solving abilities. Before treatment, the average score was 9.75 (Developing category), increasing to 21.75 after treatment, with a gain of 12 points. This improvement covered cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. The Dam-Daman game-based learning process enhanced children’s focus, patience, sportsmanship, and responsibility, proving it to be an enjoyable and meaningful learning medium for early childhood education.

Abstract

This research examines the use of the Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition (SAMR) framework as a foundation for strategies integrating digital media into English instruction at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The study is grounded in the need to enhance instructional quality at the Islamic elementary level through technologies aligned with learning objectives, learner characteristics, and infrastructural constraints. Through a synthesis of theoretical and empirical literature on technology-enhanced learning, multimedia design, formative assessment, and English for Young Learners, the focus is directed toward mapping strategies at each SAMR level along with illustrative applications, learning outcome indicators, enabling and limiting factors, and practical implications for teachers. Findings indicate that Substitution and Augmentation improve efficiency, clarity of instruction, and feedback, whereas Modification and Redefinition transform task design through collaboration, multimodality, and authentic audiences. Integrating SAMR with TPACK, multimedia principles, and formative assessment yields a staged development pathway ranging from limited-device contexts to creative, product-oriented projects. The study recommends context-responsive strategies to ensure that technology integration produces measurable impacts on language attainment, motivation, and student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental support, teacher roles, and learning environments on students’ academic achievement. To achieve this objective, the study employs a library research method by collecting, reviewing, and comparing various scholarly sources such as journals, books, and previous research relevant to the variables under study. The analysis is conducted using content analysis techniques to identify relationships, dominant findings, and patterns of interaction among the factors that affect academic performance. The results of the literature review indicate that parental support, teacher roles, and learning environments contribute significantly and complement one another in improving students’ academic achievement. Parental support influences learning outcomes through the provision of motivation, attention, and learning facilities; teacher roles determine instructional effectiveness through pedagogical and professional competencies; and a conducive learning environment enhances students’ focus, comfort, and engagement in learning activities. These three factors interact directly within Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory, particularly within the microsystem that shapes students’ academic development. Therefore, this study concludes that academic achievement is not solely determined by individual abilities but also by the optimal collaboration between families, teachers, and learning environments.
