Abstract

This research based on researcher observation about internal combustion vehicle energy percentage, there is 40% energy flow away as high temperature exhaust gas. That percentage could converted as electricity energy with thermoelectric generator concept using peltier element. Purpose of this research are (1) getting optimum exhaust’s temperature to produce highest voltage, (2) getting optimum total of peltier elemen to produce highest voltage, (3) getting optimum circuit type to produce highest voltage, (4) getting optimum Seebeck coefficient point. This research is using L20 orthogonal matrix with three replication and design experiment factorial method. Independent variable that varied are exhaust’s temperature, total of peltier element and circuit type. Response variable in this research is output voltage that analyzed with Anova and contrast test (Scheffe’s method). This research’s result and conclusion is all combination that run simultaneous giving an effect at thermoelectric generator’s voltage, in Anova result. Based on main effect plot and contrast test, optimum combination factor for highest voltage are 2400C exhaust’s temperature, four peltier element in series circuit. Highest Seebeck coefficient at 0,0524 V/K. From this research, researcher suggest thermoelectric generator implimentation at exhaust internal combustion vehicle to use factor combination 2400C exhaust’s temperature, four peltier element in series circuit

Abstract

This research is based on background behind the results of observations and experiences researcher, that process especially the surface turning is strongly influenced by the cutting angle of the tool,feeding,cutting speed ,depth of cut and others. Problem of this research is how the influence of variation feeding,cutting speed ,depth of cut on the use of the lathe process to the level of roughness workpiece surface ST 37. This research uses factorial method 2k K is variable. The variables used in this research are cutting speed (50 m / min and 80 m / min), depth of cut (0.3 mm and 0.7 mm) and feeding (0.07 mm / rev - 0.09 mm / rev).The conclusions of the results of this study are cutting speed and depth of cut have significant influence against surface roughness, where as the rate of infestation is not significant effect on surface roughness. because the cutting speed and depth of cut has a F-value greater than Ftable. Based on the conclusions of the results of this study, it is recommended: To obtain optimum surface roughness is to use lowest cutting speeds and lowest depth of cut while the feeding can be set at maximum conditions because no significant effect on surface roughness.In this study the optimum surface roughness obtained was 1.90 µm under experimental conditions; cutting speed 80 m / min (lowest), feeding 0.09 mm / rev (low) and depth of cut 0.3 mm (lowest).

Abstract

Piping system is needed notice on group of high population people. Water flows come out from people residend sometimes unstable when used. This anomaly can be happened because factor of section diameter, pipe material, and flow debit passed through pipes elbow. This research intend to know effect section diameter, pipe material varians, flow debit of head losses and knowing coefficient losses consequent reynold number. This research is using factorial desain orthogonal array L12 then data analysis used Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) with assistance minitab 16 software and contrast test (Scheffe’s Method). The results of this experiment head losses highest value of  pipe section diameter 1 inch towards ¾ inch, PVC (Poly Vinyl Cholide) pipe material, and flow debit 20 liter/minutes is 42.33 mm. For head loses lowest value of pipe section diameter ¾ inch toward 1 inch,  PE (Polyethylene) pipe material, and flow debit 10 liter/minutes is 5.33 mm, although highest coefficient losses of section diameter ¾ inch towards 1 inch, PVC (Poly Vinyl Cholide) pipe material, and flow debit 10 liter/minutes is 1.4602. ANOVA result and contrast test (Scheffe’s Method) concluded section diameter, pipe material, and fluid flow debit significant effect of head losses. Based the conclusion of research, reseacher suggest that small section diameter toward big section diameter, better pipe material and low flow debit  if want to reduce head losses value of piping system.

Abstract

The number of small and medium sized metal smelting industries whose working processes produce large waste heat energy. This results in almost 40% of energy being wasted as high temperature exhaust gases. This percentage is able to be converted into electrical energy with the concept of a thermoelectric generator using peltier elements. The way to use it is to use TEG (Thermoelectric Generator) whose function is to convert heat into electricity by utilizing temperature differences. The purpose of this research is how exhaust temperature optimization, the number of peltier elements to the thermoelectric generator voltage output on a used metal melting furnace. Then the analysis is done to get the optimum Seebeck coefficient as a representation of the thermoelectric generator performance. The design of this study is an L20 orthogonal matrix with three replications using a factorial design. The independent variables varied were exhaust temperature, number of peltier elements and data analysis using ANOVA Two Way. Based on the results of the research data it can be concluded that the furnace wall temperature affects the TEG current output. Where the most optimal wall temperature is 480 ºC which produces a TEG current output of 168 mA. This indicates an increase in the temperature of the used metal smelting furnace walls increasing the TEG current output. While the number of peltier elements does not influence the TEG current output

Abstract

Desa mitra dalam pengabdian ini mayoritas pekerjaan masyarakat desa adalah bertani, selain itu mereka bekerja sebagai kuli ataupun buruh tani. Namun demikian desa ini memiliki potensi UMK pertanian maupun kerajinan diantaranya : pengasil utama mangga gunung, pemasok bahan utama industri jamu berupa kunyit, industri rumahan kerupuk, serta kelompok usaha kerajinan tanah liat. Dari beberapa kelompok UMK tersebut hampir semua masih dalam tahap pemasok bahan baku maupun usaha kecil yang belum mendapatkan sentukhan teknologi. Hal ini dikarenakan pengetahuan masyarakat masih terbatas pada pengolahan bahan baku mentah, selain itu juga tingkat pendidikan masyarakat yang secara umum masih cukup rendah.. Oleh karena itulah kampus Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri memilih desa tersebut sebagai salah satu desa mitra dalam pelaksanaan program KKN berbasis masyarakat. Sasaran program kegiatanmeliputi: peningkatankomitmendandukunganparapemimpin dan tokoh masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan bidang pendidikan, dan pemberdayaan bidang wirausaha/ekonomi.Dalam pelaksanaan program ini, menerapkan metode partisipatif.Dimana masyarakan dilibatkan secara penuh untuk mengatasi masalah mereka sendiri. Metode ini diharapkan bisa turut menumbuhkan rasa memiliki, dan rata tanggung jawab terhadap apa yang akan dilaksanakan. Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa khususnya peningkatan produksi, manajemen, dan pemasaran kunyit instan, kerupuk, keajinan gerabah/tanah liat, dan petani mangga gunung. Selain itu, dengan adanya peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pola pikir masyarakat hingga mengurangi angka putus sekolah, melalui sekolah pada paket A, B, dan C.

Abstract

Ramuan herbal dapat berpotensi besar untuk meningkatkan ketahanan tubuh dalam masa pandemi jika digunaan secara tepat. Rendahnya pengetahuan tentang takaran, teknik pengolahan, pola konsumsi ramuan herbal, dan efek sampingnya menjadikan fokus untuk program pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan informasi yang komprehensif tentang penggunaan ramuan herbal yang dapat meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh secara baik dan benar. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam moda daring melalui media jejaring sosial secara asinkronus sesuai tahap ODSIMED (observasi, pengembangan, sosialisasi, implementasi, monitoring, evaluasi, diseminasi) Program ini mampu meningkatkan  pengetahuan masyarakat sasaran tentang penggunaan ramuan herbal yang tepat. Khususnya tentang teknik pengolahan ramuan herbal (skor N-Gain 0,77).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari satu pengamatan terhadap pengaruh variasi temperatur dan media pendingin terhadap kekerasan logam S45C. Perbedaan temperature dan variasi media pendingin dapat mempengaruhi kekerasan logam menggunakan pengujian Harnes brinel test. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan temperatur optimal dan media pendingin yang efektif agar didapatkan nilai kekerasan tertinggi pada logam S45C. Penelitian ini berupa matriks orthogonal L20 dengan tiga replikasi menggunakan rancangan faktorial. Variabel bebas yang divariasikan yaitu temperature proses carburizing, dan media pendingin. Variabel terikatnya adalah nilai kekerasan yang di analisis menggunakan Anova serta uji kontras metode Scheffe. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah semua faktor berjalan simultan dan mempengaruhi kekerasa logam. Berdasarkan main effect plot, kombinasi temperature carburizing 8500C dengan media pendingin oli menghasilkan kekerasan logam 145 kg/mm2 dan 148 kg/mm2 dengan nilai kekeerasan rata-rata 146,5 kg/mm2. Berdasarkan simpulan penelitian ini, direkomendasikan mengunakan temperatur carburizhing yang lebih tinggi dengan memvariasikan media pendingin yang lebih variatif.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read comprehension of fourth grade students of Sdn Besuk 1 through the application of SQ3R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review). This study uses the approach of classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 13 fourth grade students. Data collection techniques are done through observation, formative tests, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively to measure the improvement of learning outcomes in reading comprehension. The results showed an increase in the average value of students from pre-cycle by 40% to 69.2% in cycle I and increased to 92.3% in Cycle II. In addition, the percentage of learning completeness increased from 30.7% in pre-cycle to 76.9% in cycle I, and reached 100% in Cycle II. Thus, the application of the SQ3R method proved to be effective in improving reading comprehension skills of learners.

Abstract

This study's overarching goal is to enhance the Pancasila Education learning outcomes for fourth graders at SDN Besuk 1 by means of a flash card learning medium. Thirteen students participated in the study over the course of two cycles, with classroom action research (CAR) serving as the research methodology. Planning, carrying out, and finishing are the three main phases that make up each cycle. Students in fourth grade at SDN Besuk 1 showed significant improvement in their learning outcomes when exposed to flash cards as a learning medium. The learning outcomes of the students have not yet attained the minimum completion criterion (KKM) at the pre-cycle stage. The results of the first two cycles of instruction have shown an improvement in student performance with the introduction of learning media. While 84% of learners were able to finish cycle II, 61% were able to do so in cycle I. The results show that using Flash Cards as a learning tool improved students' performance.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Besuk 1 through the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach supported by concrete media. The study was motivated by students’ low academic performance in mathematics and their limited engagement during the learning process. The research adopted the Kemmis and McTaggart action research model, which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 25 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through classroom observation, student learning assessments, and documentation. The instruments used included observation sheets for learning activities and evaluation test items. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum learning criteria increasing from 40% in the pre-cycle to 60% in the first cycle, and reaching 88% in the second cycle. Moreover, there was a notable improvement in students’ learning activity, particularly in terms of participation, engagement, and conceptual understanding. The use of concrete media enabled students to grasp mathematical concepts more meaningfully and contextually. Therefore, it can be concluded that the RME approach combined with concrete media is effective in enhancing fifth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes.
