Abstract

Polresta Jambi, located at Jl. Bhayangkara No.1, Talang Banjar, Jambi, is a part of the Jambi City Police Resort. Polresta Jambi has the primary responsibility to maintain security, enforce the law, as well as protect and serve the community across the entire area of Jambi City. Apart from these duties, Polresta Jambi is also involved in day-to-day administration, which includes recording incoming and outgoing correspondence, noting dates of receipt and dispatch, document numbers, subjects, and recipients. However, several obstacles such as manual workflow, incidents of data loss, and issues arising when the administrator is absent from the office have resulted in slower processing of correspondence. To address these issues, the author conducted an analysis and designed an administrative letter disposition system to facilitate Polresta Jambi in future administrative letter disposition processes. This includes: enhancing efficiency in managing letter dispositions, reducing the risk of human errors in administrative processes, expediting workflow and letter processing, and improving transparency in the disposition process. This research resulted in a solution for the existing issues at Polresta Jambi, in the form of a prototype design for an administrative letter disposition information system. This designed system features managing master user data, managing master job position data, managing access role master data, managing disposition data, managing archive data, letter tracking, administering administrative disposition reports, and disposition notifications.

Abstract

UKT is a single tuition fee borned by each undergraduate student at a state university in Indonesia, to be paid every semester. At Jambi University, 8 UKT groups apply to students based on the level of the student's economic condition. Determining the UKT group for new students manually is less effective because it really depends on the assessment of the assessor, the criteria for economic conditions are quite a lot, the potential for subjectivity, and the amount of data is quite large. This study grouped new students into 8 UKT groups by applying data mining using the k-Means method. The k-Means method performs clustering based on the similarity of data on student economic conditions. K-Means analysis was performed using Rapidminer and SPSS tools. The results show that there are 7 variables/attributes of economic condition parameters that can be used in k-means analysis, including: total parent/guardian income including additional income, parent/guardian employment, electricity bills, parent status, land and building tax bills, housing conditions, and the number of dependents who are still at school. The results show that between the interpretation of the k-means analysis and the real data, there was a similarity in determining the UKT group above 50% in both Rapidminer and SPSS. Thus it can be concluded that the k-Means method can be applied to support decision making in determining UKT groups for students.

Abstract

Analysis and design of a construction project management information system is a system that can minimize errors in the process of making reports on construction projects. The current problem is that the process of recording construction project work still uses telephone media as a means of conveying project progress and then it is recorded back into Microsoft Office Excel where sometimes there are many errors in recording the progress of construction project work, resulting in errors in construction project progress reports. This study aims to analyze the current system requirements and design a construction project management information system with an object-oriented approach using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and prototype models as the methods in this study. This research produces a prototype that can provide solutions and an overview of the design of construction project management information systems such as project worker data designs, client data designs, project activity designs, project budget designs, project documentation designs, and required project reports as well as UML (Unified Modeling) designs. Language) as a tool that can facilitate the developer later in making the system.

Abstract

The inventory information system used by the Indonesian Red Cross in Jambi City still uses a manual system, namely by using Microsoft Office Excel so that the search for inventory data is slow. Therefore, this final project is carried out to make the analysis and design of a web-based goods inventory system that is easy to use, so that it can facilitate access to the desired information and can make it easier to manage data or files. The research of this final project is to design and analyze a web-based Goods Inventory Information System at the Indonesian Red Cross in Jambi City. For this reason, this research will analyze and design the information system using the Balsamiq Mockups 3.5.15 application. So that in the end the results of the analysis and design of this information system will be used by programmers to implement it.

Abstract

The Class IA Jambi Religious Court is one of the judicial bodies in charge of deciding, adjudicating and resolving cases at the first level between people of the Islamic faith in the fields of marriage, inheritance, wills and grants whose case data is still conventional. The purpose of this research is to analyze the running system for problem services at the Class IA Jambi Religious Court and to design a prototype web-based problem service. So that there are problems, namely the process of requesting court submissions to the case settlement process requires time and money, information about case services such as trial agendas, trial results, and others can only be obtained by going to the office directly, and the process of archiving trial data or preparing reports takes time quite a long time. Solutions to problems that occur by analyzing and designing a web-based problem service information system using the storyboard prototype development method and the unified model language system model using use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of system development can display plaintiff data, service data, service data requests, trial schedule data, trial results data and produce reports that can be printed according to their needs.

Abstract

Information technology is also inseparable from the management process, this is because almost everymanagement decision always requires information technology support including one in assetmanagement, in the field of management, an asset management information system is offered with theaim of facilitating the management of the assets themselves so that they can be produce reliable, relevant,timely, tested and understandable information data. Inventory is a list of all the facilities in all sections.From the results of the analysis that the author did at SMA Negeri 12 Jambi City on the inventoryinformation system currently running, there are several problems that occur, such as frequent duplicationwhen collecting inventory data, difficulties in searching for item data because the data is not wellintegrated. So that it is easy for data loss to occur and the length of time for making the desired inventoryreport. This study aims to analyze and design an information system for inventorying goods at SMANegeri 12 Jambi City. The method used in this study is the waterfall method. The design of thisinformation system produces prototypes using the Unified Modeling Language programming language.The designed information system can simplify the process of inputting inventory data for SMA Negeri 12Kota Jambi.
