Abstract

The Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning is the agency responsible for public works and housing affairs. This research aims to determine the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on employee productivity at the secretariat office of the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning of Banggai Regency. The type of data used is qualitative that has been quantified. The population consists of 16 people. The method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, with the regression result Y = 19.966 + - 0.547 - 0.475 + e. The Correlation Coefficient is 0.584. The Coefficient of Determination in this study is 0.341, and the remaining variation is caused by other factors not included in this study. The t-value for (X1) is -1.850 < t-table 1.771.This means that the variable Compensation (X1) does not have a significant effect on Work Productivity (Y), thus H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. The calculated t-value for (X2) is 2.288. The result of the t-test shows that 2.288 > 1.771. This indicates that the variable Job Satisfaction (X2) has a partial and significant effect on Work Productivity (Y), therefore H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the F-test, the calculated F-value is 3.365 > the table F-value of 3.81. This means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Compensation (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) have a simultaneous or joint effect on Work Productivity (Y).

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how leadership style, communication, and work environment have a significant effect on employee work enthusiasm partially and simultaneously at PT Kurnia Luwuk Sejati. The type of data is qualitative which is quantified with a sample of 55 respondents. The analysis tool is Multiple Linear Regression Test with the equation form Y = 7.715 - 0.123 - 0.291 + 0.424, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, t test and f test. The correlation coefficient is 50.9% and the remaining 49.1% shows a fairly strong relationship. The determination coefficient is 25.9% and the remaining 74.1% is influenced by other variables studied. The results of the t test are the calculated T value of leadership style of -0.549 with a significance level of 0.585, communication of 1.128 with a significance level of 0.265, and the work environment of 2.750 with a significance level of 0.008. The T table is 1.675 (t count > t table). The F test result is 5.934, the F table is 3.18, so there is a significant influence between Leadership Style (X1), Communication (X2), Work Environment (X3), and Work Spirit (Y).

Abstract

The research question is whether Leadership Style significantly influences the Work Motivation of Lokotoy Village Officials, North Banggai District, Banggai Laut Regency. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression analysis. The results of the data processing obtained a simple linear regression equation of Y = 16.460 + 0.415X. The correlation coefficient value was 0.257. This value indicates that the relationship between the independent variable, Leadership Style, used in this study, has a weak relationship with the dependent variable, Work Motivation, at 25.7% (0.2571 x 100%), because it has an interval of 0.20–0.399, categorized as Weak. The coefficient of determination obtained in this study, 0.066, indicates that the independent variable, Leadership Style (X), contributes 6.6% to the dependent variable, Work Motivation (Y), with the remaining 93.4% influenced by other factors not examined. The calculated t-value is 0.881 ˃ t-table 1.795 with a probability value of 0.397. This indicates that the independent variable, Leadership Style (X), does not have a significant effect on the dependent variable, Work Motivation (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to measure the financial performance of food and beverage companies based on the Economic Value Added (EVA) approach from an internal management perspective. A descriptive quantitative method is employed using secondary data derived from companies’ financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and official corporate websites. The analysis utilizes operating profit, tax expense, capital structure, and cost of capital components to calculate Net Operating Profit After Tax, Weighted Average Cost of Capital, and EVA. The results indicate that food and beverage companies are able to generate positive EVA values, although fluctuations are observed. These fluctuations suggest that economic value creation is influenced by operational performance dynamics and capital efficiency. The findings provide managerial implications for evaluating financial performance and supporting value-oriented decision making.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of economic growth and poverty on income inequality in Banggai Kepulauan Regency during the 2018–2023 period. Income inequality is proxied by the Gini Index, economic growth is measured by the growth rate of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices, and poverty is measured by the percentage of the poor population. The data are a six-year time series obtained from publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, complemented by the t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. The estimation results show the equation:Y = −0.062221 − 0.000695X₁ + 0.025594X₂. Economic growth has a negative but insignificant effect on income inequality, while poverty has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, economic growth and poverty significantly affect income inequality. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.861 indicates that 86.1% of the variation in income inequality can be explained by changes in economic growth and poverty during the observation period. These findings emphasize the importance of targeted poverty reduction policies and more inclusive growth strategies to strengthen income distribution at the regional level.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of social media content, Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM), and product quality on consumers’ purchase intention toward Kantilan food. A quantitative survey method was employed, involving 100 selected respondents via purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 26, the research utilized various analytical technique such as data quality testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis, followed by hypothesis testing through the t-test, f-test, and coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that, individually, social media content and product quality significantly influence purchase intention, with respective p-values of 0.003 and 0.000 both below the 0.05 significance threshold. However, eWOM does not significantly affect purchase intention (p = 0.124). Collectively, however, all three variables significantly influence purchase intention (p = 0.000).
