Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job involvement and personality on the safety performance of Indonesia Navy Ship Crew. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 95. The sampling technique in this study was stratified random sampling. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out on the major hypothesis testing, the significance value in the anova table is 0.000 is less than 0.05, so it can be concluded that job involvement and personality jointly affect the safety performance of Indonesia Navy Ship Crew. In the results of the major hypothesis test, it was also found that the R Square value was 0.185, so it can be concluded that the effect of the job involvement and personality variables together on the safety performance of the crew of the Indonesia Navy Ship Crew is 18.5%. In the results of the minor hypothesis test, it was found that the effective contribution of job involvement to safety performance was 10.1% and the effective contribution of personality to safety performance was 17.8%, while the remaining 82.2% was influenced by other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hardiness and career adaptability at the Vocational School at Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to survey methods and uses product moment correlation. Data collection uses a hardiness scale of 15 items and a career adaptability scale of 24 items. The number of subjects in this study were 100 cadets at the Faculty of Vocational Shipping, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between hardiness and career adaptability at the Vocational Vocational School at Hang Tuah University, Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether workload and emotional intelligence are factors that can affect the work life balance of seafarers on cargo ships. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an effect of workload and emotional intelligence together on the work life balance of seafarers on cargo ships. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The number of subjects in this study were 73 respondents who were sailors on a sea toll ship (cargo) owned by PT PELNI (Persero) Surabaya Branch. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique and data collection technique with 3 (three) scales, namely workload, emotional intelligence, and work life balance. The results of hypothesis testing on workload and emotional intelligence together are predictors of work life balance on seafarers on cargo ships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental social support and self-efficacy with anxiety looking for work in the COVID-19 era in fresh graduates of University X. This study uses a quantitative survey. Subjects 218 fresh graduates. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. the scale used in this study: the social support scale of parents; self efficacy scale ; anxiety scale. The results of data analysis obtained there is a relationship between self-efficacy and job search anxiety, there is a relationship between social support and student anxiety. A new finding in this study is that parental social support has a positive correlation with job-seeking anxiety in the COVID-19 era, meaning that the higher the social support, the higher the job-seeking anxiety. Shows parental social support, makes fresh graduates feel anxious and afraid to disappoint their parents when they don't get a job and fresh graduates choose to look for work independently so they don't bother their parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and emotional focused coping, the relationship between family social support and emotional focused coping, and the relationship between self-efficacy and family social support with emotional focused coping in deaf individuals in the Arek Tuli Community in Surabaya-Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach. The number of research subjects as many as 42 deaf. The sampling technique used incidental sampling. Study result found that there is no positive relationship between self-efficacy and emotional focused coping, there is no positive relationship between family social support and emotional focused coping, there is no positive relationship between self-efficacy and family support with emotional focused coping in deaf individuals in the Arek Tuli Community in Surabaya-Sidoarjo.This happens because there are other factors more related to emotional focused coping such as age and type of problem.

Abstract

Childbirth are usually eager to take care of their babies, but some mothers don’t manage to adjust and experience psychological disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-adjustment and husband's social support with BBS in primipara mothers. The research used correlational quantitative. Respondents in this study were 40 childbirth to primipara. The sampling technique used saturated sampling. The results show there is a strong relationship between self-adjustment and husband's social support with BBS in primipara mothers. There is a strong relationship between self-adjustment and husband's social support with BBS in primipara mothers. This research shows the importance of preparation for mothers who have just given birth. Husbands also play an important role for mothers who have just given birth and need to provide support in the form of attention and support for assistance.
