Abstract

This research is to determine the learning creativity of students by using a synectic learning model. The location chosen by the author for this research is at SMK Graphic Bina Media Medan. This study uses a qualitative method. The data obtained from this study are in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. There were 15 informants in this study consisting of 1 school principal, 1 PAK teacher, 3 fellow teachers and 10 students. The findings of this study are that the learning creativity of students has increased by using the synectic model. This can be seen from the implementation of the 5 model requirements such as: syntax, social system, reaction principle, interactional impact and support systems as well as the implementation of 4 indicators of creativity such as: fluency of thinking, flexibility thinking, elaboration, and originality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in increasing student discipline through learning Catholic religious education at Graphic Bina Vocational High School Medan. This study uses a qualitative method. The data obtained from this study are in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. There were 3 informants in this study consisting of 1 school principal, 4 teachers including PAK teachers and 13 students. The findings of this study are that PAK teachers have carried out their role in increasing student discipline at Graphic Bina Media Medan Vocational School so that student discipline has increased through learning Catholic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the school environment on student satisfaction at the Nur Ihsan School, Medan. This research is motivated by the importance of understanding how the school environment contributes to student well-being and overall satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach by utilizing survey instruments to collect data from a sample of students at Nur Ihsan School. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics and regression analysis to examine the relationship between various elements of the school environment and student satisfaction. Research findings reveal significant correlations between certain aspects of the school environment, such as physical facilities, quality of teaching, peer relationships, and student satisfaction. This research emphasizes the importance of a positive school environment in helping to increase student satisfaction and engagement. The implications of these findings suggest that educational institutions should prioritize improving the physical and social aspects of the school environment to increase student satisfaction. Abstract

This research explains the importance of integrated learning. So the integration of Biology, English and Entrepreneurship subjects is very useful for developing entrepreneurial character, as a preparation for their future lives. Mastery of biological material and its application in life will be very useful for developing students' entrepreneurial attitudes. The results of this integrated learning show that 100% of students succeeded in understanding the material on plant growth and development. Based on previous experience, the results of germination cannot be successful. The germination process failed twice. This happens because they do not yet understand biological knowledge on the subject of plant growth and development. Based on facts after understanding the material on plant growth and development. all 12th grade science 2 students can achieve very well. The sprouting process was very successful. The sprouts look clean and nice. Students applying English language competency can be seen from the description of the results of germination practice. Explanations ranging from tools and materials, manufacturing procedures, to processes are explained using clear and correct English. Presented in front of the class and reported in writing. Therefore, in terms of language and communication skills, class 12 IPA 2 students are very good. Then, entrepreneurially, the sprouts are made, packaged and sold. All sold out. Starting from a nominal amount of 15 thousand rupiah, and using the available tools to support the germination process for 3 days. In conclusion, the integrated learning model of collaboration is very useful in forming the entrepreneurial attitude of class XII students at MAN Insan Scholar Jambi.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, the need for technical skills in the world of education has become a major highlight. Specialization-based education is the focus in higher education. In this situation, Liberal Arts education also has a very important role in developing cross-disciplinary skills and human skills holistically. This article aims to investigate the relevance of Liberal Arts education in the digital era and try to identify how Liberal Arts education can make a contribution to higher education in facing the challenges of the digital age. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting a literature review of various relevant sources regarding Liberal Arts education and developments in the digital era. The articles analyzed included five scientific articles originating from research journals. This qualitative approach allows the author to present a comprehensive picture of the relevance of Liberal Arts education in the digital era. The results found by the author through these articles state that Liberal Arts education has an important role in preparing students to face the complexities of the digital era. The critical skills, systemic thinking, effective communication and professional ethics taught in Liberal Arts education provide a strong foundation for students.
