Abstract

A well-designed syllabus can be the key to successful teaching. With a good syllabus, teachers and students will more easily achieve the learning objectives as set out in the curriculum. The syllabus is a source of information for students. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of an Arabic language learning syllabus. This research method uses a literature review technique approach. The data collection technique is through reviewing books, journal articles, and other scientific works which are then analyzed thematically. The results of the study indicate that this Arabic language learning syllabus still requires elaboration in a more concrete form in the form of a lesson plan (RPP), because the syllabus contains the general learning process for one semester. Elements that need to be developed in the syllabus are the syllabus identity, SK, KD, indicators, time allocation, materials / teaching materials, learning methods and media used, and books / learning resources needed. Because language learning has different characteristics from exact learning, it has its own syllabus design. However, the language learning syllabus also varies, including grammatical/structural syllabus, situational syllabus, notional/functional syllabus, topical syllabus, skills syllabus, process syllabus, task-based procedural syllabus, and mixed syllabus.

Abstract

The development of the cosmetics industry in Indonesia, particularly in the skincare sector, has experienced significant growth. The purpose of this study was to examine how product diversity, perceived value, and product quality influence perceived value for Skintific in Tangerang, with influencer endorsement as a moderating variable. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal associative method. Data were collected through questionnaires from 180 Skinacre Skintific users and analyzed using SmartPLS 3 software to test the relationship between variables and their moderating effects. The results showed that all four variables had a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Influencer endorsement significantly moderated the relationship between the three variables and purchase decisions. This study addresses a gap in the literature by integrating four key variables that are typically studied separately and positioning influencer endorsement as a moderating variable in a model that has not been widely integrated.

Abstract

Contemporary educational curricula in many Muslim countries, including Indonesia, are still dominated by a secular paradigm that separates knowledge from spiritual values, thus creating a disorientation in educational objectives. This study aims to examine Islamic epistemology as an alternative foundation in designing an integral curriculum oriented towards the formation of a perfect human being. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this study analyzes the works of classical and contemporary Islamic figures as well as relevant modern educational theories. The results show that Islamic epistemology views knowledge as a unity derived from revelation, reason, and experience, thus providing a transformative direction in the formulation of educational objectives, curriculum content, learning methods, and evaluation. The conclusion of this study confirms that the application of Islamic epistemology in curriculum design can address the value crisis in modern education and reorient education towards the formation of knowledgeable and moral human beings. The contribution of this study lies in the presentation of the concept of a monotheistic value-based curriculum that can serve as a philosophical and practical basis for contemporary Islamic educational reform.
