Abstract

This research has a descriptive aim to describe various art therapy models in managing emotions. This research uses a literature review method. The literature analysis and review process is assisted by a literature review table which contains the title, year, author, type of research or method used, research subject, mechanism for implementing the intervention (art therapy) and the results of previous research or research being studied. This research examines seven different literatures. In this research, the results obtained were several forms of applying art therapy that were effectively used for managing emotions based on the research studied, namely drawing, painting, drawing while singing, music, making collages, writing, and making animals from clay. This research has limitations because the literature used is still limited with a small number. More literature is needed to find references for forms of art therapy that can be effectively used as a medium for managing emotions.

Abstract

In actualizing the potential possessed by students, self-confidence is an important aspect. Apart from that, low self-confidence is also a problem that hinders student development. Individual counseling is one of the efforts of guidance counselors or school counselors to increase students' self-confidence. This research uses a qualitative approach to the clinical case study type with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. To overcome the problems experienced by the subject, the self-talk technique was given. Based on the assistance given to the subject, the results obtained were that the subject experienced many changes, especially in socializing, such as being good at communicating and showing active and positive behavior. However, he has not been able to explore his abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe individual counseling services with Assertive Training techniques on assertive behavior in students of SMK Negeri 7 Makassar. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is taken from the results of interviews, observations and documentation. The subject of this research is one of the X class students of SMK Negeri Makassar whose initials are AA and identified as having low assertive behavior, then data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of individual counseling research conducted in this case using Assertive Training techniques, I as a counselor and counselee design and determine situations where the counselee feels difficulty in conveying assertive behavior. The situation described must be clear and detailed, so that the counselee can describe and explain what he is facing in reality. The counselor provides input and encouragement to the counselee especially on facial expressions, body posture, tone of voice, eye contact, and so on. I also give homework to the counselee as a behavioral target to be achieved, and finally a discussion regarding the results achieved by the client is carried out during the next meeting. The results showed that individual counseling services using Assertive Training techniques can be used to improve assertive behavior in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the description of academic procrastination behavior in A at SMPN 33 Makassar, the causes of academic procrastination in A, and the handling of academic procrastination in A. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation as well as using qualitative analysis from the Miles & Hubermen Model, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The result is a description of A's academic procrastination behavior, namely often procrastinating in doing assignments, being lazy about doing and completing assignments, doing assignments when they are on deadline, being noisy in class, lacking focus when the teacher explains explanations and. The factors causing academic procrastination are low learning motivation, difficulty managing time, preferring to do more enjoyable activities, and from the experience gained, and to handle it, researchers apply self-talk techniques, namely students are able to find solutions to the problems they are experiencing, and students have the desire to change their behavior for the better to reduce the behavior of delaying assignments or academic procrastination.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 1) gambaran malas belajar pada MI di SMPN 49 Makassar, 2) Penyebab malas belajar  MI, 3) Upaya penanganan malas belajar pada subjek MI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus klinis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi serta menggunakan analisis kualitatif dari Model Miles & Hubermen, yaitu reduksi data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya adalah 1) Gambaran malas belajar MI membolos saat pelajaran berlangsung, tidak mengerjakan tugasnya-tugasnya, melakukan aktivitas lain ketika guru menjelaskan di dalam kelas, dan tidak memerhatikan penjelasan guru. 2) Faktor malas belajar yaitu motivasi belajar rendah, sulit mengatur waktu, lebih memilih melakukan aktivitas yang lebih menyenangkan, serta dari pengalaman yang diperoleh. 3) Penanganannya, peneliti menerapkan self management untuk mengurangi perilaku malas belajar MI. Setelah penanganan subjek MI menunjukan perubahan positif yaitu dapat mengurangi perilaku malas belajarnya terlihat dari berkurangnya perilaku malas belajar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-monitoring on the aggressive behavior of class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Utara. The independent variable was self monitoring. The dependent variable was aggressive behavior. This study applied quantitative research methods with additional validity and realibility tests. The sampling technique was probality sampling technique with the type of stratified ramdom sampling method. Respondents in this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 8 North Luwu namely 55 people. The tool used to manage the data in this study was using the SPSS type 22 application. The results of this study show that the effect of self-monitoring on the aggressive behavior of students at SMA Negeri 8 Luwu Utara is 12.7% but not significant (0,05).
