Abstract

Home industry for dynamo repair in Sindang Village, Sindang District, Indramayu Regency, in carrying out its business to repair electric motors, dynamos, and distribution transformers, is done manually using a mechanical counter. The damage that often occurs in this equipment occurs in the coil, usually caused by being overloaded so that it burns. Winding the coils/coils on the dynamo can be done manually or using a winding machine. The type of winding machine commonly used by the dynamo home industry in Sindang Village, Sindang District, Indramayu Regency, still uses a mechanical counter. The accuracy of the number of windings affects the result of the quality of the repairs, apart from the type of winding wire applied. The research method used is quantitative experimental research. So that the result is that the automation process of the dynamo roller machine has been successfully implemented; reading the results using a limit switch still needs to be applied at high rotation (above 1 rpm). This can be corrected by using another sensor (Photoelectric Optocoupler). In the calculation planning results from the semi-automatic dynamo winding machine, the moment of inertia is 49,092.6mm2, displacement is 200.1, loading is 4,924.8 kg.mm, and the most considerable stress is 10,050 N/m2. In contrast, the slightest stress is 0,087 N/m2.

Abstract

The clay crushing machine will print bricks to soften or thin the soil mixture after immersion in a pond. This machine can increase brick farmers' time efficiency and production in micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM). The method used to soften or thin the dough is using a screw conveyor as a soil pusher and a crushing knife as a soil crusher. The results of processing clay using a crushing machine are smooth and even. The trial results that have been printed, then dried and burned, produce solid and good-quality bricks. This machine can pulverize quickly compared to traditional processors, and this machine can cut processing time by two days compared to the manual method. A crushing machine with a capacity of 3 kg, a trial process was carried out using four buckets of clay, then the capacity of the soil crushing process was around 3 kg per 5 seconds, with a capacity of 300 cm3/second. The calculation of the potential production potential of this crushing machine in 1 working day, which is 8 hours, is capable of processing clay that is ready for production as raw material for bricks up to 8640 bricks/per day

Abstract

The infusion system is relatively simple and easy, namely by hanging the infusion bottle on a pole and utilizing gravity so that the infusion drops will flow through the hose and enter until they flow into the veins. In the world of medicine, the use of infusion systems can also be done to enter drugs. The use of this drug must be monitored to ensure the number of doses that have been entered is according to the doctor's prescription with an infusion system. This paper aims to design and manufacture an infusion drip controller with an Android-based telemetry system. The method of this paper begins with designing and using the VDI 2221 method. The main components designed in this paper are the open and closed components of the infusion drop rate. For manufacturing using 3D printing with PLA material. Meanwhile, the measurement results were tested using a measuring cup with a 5 mm scale with ± 0.02 mm of tolerance. The results of this design show that the open and closed tool components are elliptical with an axis in the middle. While the results of the test show a comparison between the required volume and the removal of the tool by 1.2%. The tool can also provide notifications to communication devices when the volume has been reached. So that the tool can be used by following the tolerance rules for infusion and drug intake.

Abstract

Marking machining processes using lasers have developed in the industrial world. Having high precision and good final quality is one of the advantages of this laser machine. There is a thermal effect generated in the process, so we must understand the impact of the power applied to the material. Carry out the laser marking process with the engraving method on a stainless steel plate material which is given a variation of strength to observe the difference in the final result of a marking. Make as many as 3 pcs of products for each variation of power parameters. The product that has been produced will also be observed for surface roughness on the marking, which aims to find out how deep the food is from the marking. Observation of the surface roughness of the marking on the product using the Surface Roughness Tester 3 times for each product. The results of the data that have been taken will only be observed and entered into the marking results into the roughness class according to ISO or DIN 4763:1981. The marking process uses power variations of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%. The results of the marking with the lowest power of 20% produce markings with a roughness value of 0.029µm – 0.110µm and enter into class N3 while the results of marking with the greatest power of 100% obtain a roughness value of 18.210µm – 19.876µm which is included in the roughness class N10. Based on the data obtained in the engraving process with different power variations, it can be interpreted that the higher the power supplied, the higher the roughness value
