Abstract

Prevention of postpartum hemorrhage can be prevented as early as possible, starting from when the mother is pregnant by carrying out good antenatal care. Mothers who have a predisposition or history of postpartum hemorrhage are advised to give birth in a hospital. One way that can be done to prevent postpartum hemorrhage is by increasing the knowledge of pregnant women by providing health education so that awareness will arise in individuals or communities to behave according to the knowledge they have. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of health education on preventing postpartum hemorrhage on the level of knowledge of pregnant women in the third trimester in the Teratak Health Center Work Area. Method: pre-experimental design with One group pre and posttest design. The sample of this study was some of the third trimester pregnant women in the Teratak Health Center Work Area in December 2023 as many as 44 people, with the inclusion criteria: Third trimester pregnant women who live in the Teratak Health Center Work Area, are willing to be respondents, who can communicate well, who can read and write. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results: Knowledge before the intervention was mostly good as many as 23 respondents (52.3%). Knowledge after the intervention was mostly good as many as 29 respondents (65.9%). Conclusion: There is an Influence of Health Education on Postpartum Hemorrhage Prevention on the Level of Knowledge of Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester in the Teratak Health Center Work Area with a p-value of 0.002 <0.05.

Abstract

Adolescent girls who experience anemia are at risk of becoming anemic women of childbearing age and continue to become mothers who experience chronic energy deficiencies during pregnancy. Chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women can increase the risk of stunted fetal growth, premature birth, and child growth and development disorders, including stunting. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between peer support and the school environment with efforts to prevent anemia in adolescent girls at MA Darussolihin NW Kalijaga. This study is an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 63 people was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaires and data analysis using the Spearman rank test. The statistical test results showed a relationship between peer support (r=0.674, p-value=0.000) and the school environment (r=0.543, p-value=0.000) with efforts to prevent anemia in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Renal failure is a progressive and irreversible disorder of renal function, in which kidney function decreases. Hemodialysis is a therapy for patients with chronic renal failure, where anxiety, depression, and self-esteem are psychological reactions that are often experienced this condition can affect the patient's quality of life. Aim: This study aims to determine the correlation between anxiety, depression, and self-esteem with quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD Rejang Lebong in 2024. Method: This study uses descriptiveanalysis with a cross sectional approach. The data used is primary data and secondary data. To determine the value of anxiety, depression, self-esteem and quality of life using a questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the chi squaretest. Result: The results of the study using the Chi Square test showed that there was a correlation between anxiety, depression, and self-esteem with quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD Rejang Lebong in 2024 with a p value of p = ≤ 0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that the quality of life of chronic renal failure patients is influenced by the level of anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the provision of instant and traditional MP-ASI and the nutritional status of infants aged >6-12 months who received both types of MP-ASI at the Anggeraja Health Center, Enrekang Regency. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample size of 30 respondents, consisting of parents of infants who provide either instant or traditional MP-ASI. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation. Data analysis was performed using frequency distribution and Chi-Square tests to analyze the relationship between the provision of MP-ASI and the nutritional status of the infants. Among the 30 respondents, 63.3% provided instant MP-ASI with a good category, while 76.7% provided traditional MP-ASI with a good category. The nutritional status of infants receiving instant MP-ASI showed that 63.3% had normal nutritional status, and 76.7% of infants receiving traditional MP-ASI had normal nutritional status. The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between the provision of MP-ASI and the nutritional status of infants (p-value < 0.05).

Abstract

Pregnancy at age < 20 years has a high risk to the health of the mother and baby. Low knowledge and awareness of fertile couples (PUS) often causes a lack of interest in postponing pregnancy. Health counseling is seen as one of the effective interventions to increase interest in postponing risky pregnancies. Aims To determine the effect of health counseling on the interest in postponing risky pregnancies in PUS <20 years. This study used a pre-experimental design with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The sample consisted of 22 PUS respondents aged <20 years selected through purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments were Flip Sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test .Results: There was an increase in the interest score of postponing pregnancy after being given health counseling. The results of the statistical test showed a significance value of p <0.05 , which means that there is a significant influence between health counseling and the interest of PUS <20 years in postponing pregnancy. Conclusion: Health counseling is effective in increasing interest in postponing risky pregnancies in fertile couples under 20 years of age. This intervention can be used as a promotive-preventive strategy in adolescent reproductive health programs..

Abstract

Colostrum is a thick, yellowish liquid that comes out on the first to the third postpartum day. Colostrum contains many anti-infective substances that will protect the baby from diseases that will infect the baby. However, the process of expelling colostrum can be influenced by the type of labor the mother chooses. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of giving woolwich massage on colostrum expenditure in post-sectio caesarean post-section mothers. The research method used is a literature review study. Data collection using literature study. The results of the literature review show that there is colostrum expenditure in post-sectio caesarean postpartum mothers after being given a woolwich massage.
