This research aims to examine the effectiveness of involvement in arranging key performance indicator to decrease of resistance to change level towards performance target for management trainee in University X. The subject of this research is management trainee consisting of experiment group and control group. The experiment group comprised of 16 people while the control group consisted of 8 people. The subjects of this research have at least master degree, work contract, and medium to high level of resistance to change fortarget performance. The research design used pretest posttest control group design. The data collection is conducted using scale of resistance to change for taget performance. The finding of this research indicated that the involvement in arranging key performance indicator is effective in decreasing the resistance to change level towards performance target for management trainee in University X.Key words: resistance to change, involvement, key performance indicator

This research is an experimental research aiming to understand whether strengths based cognitive behavioral therapy effectively improving resilience on adolescence orphanage. The subjects of this research were 15 adolescence orphanage from Sleman district who had a low to moderate level of resilience. Those 15 adolescence orphanage were divided into two groups, seven subjects from Orphanage X as the experimental group and other subjects from orpahange Y as the control group. The modules used for the training are based on four step of strengths based cognitive behavioral therapy of Padesky and Mooney (2012). This research used resilience scale adapted by researcher based on the original scale of resilience (Connor and Davidson, 2003). The data analysis of the research used independent sample t test method. The result showed that the strengths based cognitive behavioral therapy is effective to improve adolescence orphanage resilience. This research aims to know the effectiveness of positive thinking training in reducing the anxieties of students who are working on the thesis. The subjects in this research consisted of 24 students which 12 students into experimental group and 12 students into the control group. The subjects characteristics of the research is : 1) students of UIN Sunan Kalijga especially students of Social anda Humanities Faculty and Science and Technology Faculty 2) doing thesis, 3) having medium up to highest anxiety score in doing thesis, 4) ready to be subject of the research.This research uses two deferent groups (experimental and control groups) by pre-test and post-test design. The measurenment tool which is use in the research is the anxiety doing the thesis scale.The test using statistical analysis techniques Mann Whitney U indicates that gain score between control and experimental group results value p=0,002 (p<0,005) so it can be concluded that there is a difference score of anxiety that significant between experimental and control group. Whereas the analysisresults of wilcoxon signed rank indicates that post-test and pre-test experimental group gets value p=0,002 (p<0,005), so it can be concluded that there is different of anxiety level on experimental group before and after treatment. The anxiety of students after getting positive thinking treatment indicates lower than before.Keywords: Positive thinking training, anxiety, students.

This study was aimed understand the influence of Achievement Motivation Training in increase self efficacy of medicine students in Islamic University of Indonesia. Research design of this study was one-group multiplepre-test post-test design on quasi experiment with 173 subjects of experimental group in 2 days training. Data collected by self-efficacy scale from Bandura’s theory (1997). Analysis of the data used non parametrical statistic by Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Academic anxiety is often experienced by each individual. One of the methods used in lowering academic anxiety is to listen murottal Quran. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of listening murottal Quran in reducing anxiety in students. Respondents were selected using random sampling techniques using the design of experiment one group pretest-posttest. The subject of this research were 21 students of the faculty of Psychology University of Makassar class of 2015. This study uses academic anxiety scale of Isthifha (2011). The results of this study showed that listening to the Quran murottal effective in reducing anxiety in a student's academic. This research is aiming for influence of interpersonal communication training to improve the cohesiveness of the group of employees. Subjects in this study were 22 employees of Hotel X of Yogyakarta, which is divided into 11 experimental groups of employees and 11 employees of the control group. Data collection is use cohesiveness scale, interviews, and observations. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design. Analysis of the study is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using U-Mann Whitney to determine the effect of interpersonal communication training to the employee group cohesiveness. Qualitative analysis is based on observations and interviews. The results showed that there were significant differences in group cohesiveness in employees between the experimental group and the control group with significant value of 0.002 (p <0.005). It is concluded that interpersonal communicationtraining can enhance group cohesiveness in employees Hotel X Yogyakarta.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication Training, Cohesiveness group, Employee

This study aims to determine the influence of therapy of remembrance to improve the psychological wellbeing in patients with hypertension.The hypothesis of the study were there is difference in psychological well-being between the experimental group and control group. The subject involved in this study were 18 patients who experienced hypertension as well as having medium and low psychological well-being which divided into 2 groups: 9 people into experimental group and 9 people into control group. The experimental group was get the therapy of remembrance while the control group in the waiting list. The results of the data analysis with Mann Whitney shows that there are significant differences in psychological well-being between the experimental group and the control group, with the value of z= -3.587 (p<0.000). The group that get the therapy of remembrance experience an increase in psychological well-being which it possesses as compared with the control group. Having child who has intellectual disability brings out parenting stress toward mother. This research was carried out to obtain an intervention program design by using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles to decrease the level of parenting stress mother who has a mild intellectual disability child among 6-12 years old. After designing, the module of intervention was tried out by quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest one-group design, involving two participants who are the mother of a Mild Intellectual Disability child that used a purposive sampling technique. The data were obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This research shows that the module can be used to decrease the level of parenting stress.Keywords: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parenting stress, psychological flexibility, the mother who has a mild intellectual disability child.

This study aims to explain the effect of grateful training in order to increase self compassion among caregivers of children with down syndrome. Caregivers who get gratitude training were expected to have higher score at self compassion scale than the caregivers who did not get the treatment. The subjects of this study were seven adult caregivers of children with down syndrome, Muslim, female. They could be parents or closest relatives of children with down syndrome. The children with down syndrome were students of SLB PGRI Trimulyo. The kind of this research was pre-experimental with single pre-post test design. The collecting data used self compassion scale and it was analyzed by using Wilcoxon test. The hypothesis of this study was that gratitude training can increase self compassion among caregivers of children with down syndrome. The result of the study shows that there is significantly difference self compassion between before and after treatment was given. This proves that gratitude training can increase self compassion of caregivers of children with down syndrome.Keywords: caregivers, down syndrome, gratitude training, self compassion.

This research was carried out to obtain an intervention program design by using Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) principles which could decrease sibling rivalry in adolescent who has younger sibling with intellectual disability.This research involved two pairs of mother and child (adolescent) who were sampled through use of purposive sampling and tried out by using quasi experimental method with A-B-A design. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and questionnaire. The measurement tools were Sibling Rivalry questionnaire and Dyadic Parent-Child Interaction Coding System III (DPICS-III). There was decline in sibling rivalry and increase in mother’s ability to apply PCIT skills. Meanwhile the qualitative data showed that PCIT skills mastered and applied by the mothers in daily basis parenting made the children to feel respected and could decrease jealousy, anger, and rivalry feeling with their siblings.Keywords: Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Sibling Rivalry, Sibling Relationship, Adolescent,Intellectual Disability.
