Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the Implementation of Knowledge Management Using the Big data Model for MSME Social Media. With the rapid growth of data generated from interactions on social media, MSMEs are faced with the challenge of managing information effectively to improve competitiveness. This research uses a qualitative approach. This approach aims to explore the meaning, understanding, concepts, characteristics, symptoms, symbols, and descriptions of a phenomenon. This model describes the synergistic relationship between big data and KM and provides a framework for SMEs to use big data through KM. This framework includes four constructs, namely, strategic use of big data, knowledge-guided big data project planning, IT solutions for SMEs, and new knowledge products. Research results The implications for big data practices for different types of businesses may not be the same. Analysis of various business cases shows that successful SMEs should not ignore big data opportunities, and exploit big data by placing emphasis on KM, rather than on sophisticated IT techniques or the sheer magnitude of data, to generate knowledge products that are valuable to the competition.

Abstract

This study evaluates the reliability of cloud computing infrastructure at Belitung Polytechnic in supporting digital campus services. The evaluation was carried out by analyzing aspects of performance, security, and scalability of the cloud-based system used. The methods applied include measuring uptime, system response, and data security against cyber threats. The results of the study indicate that the cloud computing infrastructure at Belitung Polytechnic has a fairly high level of reliability, but there are still several obstacles related to latency and security that need to be improved. Recommendations for improvement are focused on optimizing the network, improving data encryption, and implementing a stricter monitoring system. With these improvements, it is hoped that digital campus services can run more efficiently and safely, supporting academic needs and campus operations optimally.

Abstract

The Banten Province Ombudsman Institution currently still relies on receiving reporting and monitoring carried out by the public regarding forms of public services that are still manual. This means that the public in this case must come directly to the ombudsman institution. This shows that effective and efficient public services have not been created on the basis of being fast, precise and low cost. The aim of this research is to design a public service reporting application that carries out Android-based maladministration. The type of research used is the waterfall method. This application runs on the Android operating system. Based on the research results, this application can be used to help and make it easier for the public to report legal violations and dissatisfaction with public services carried out by state institutions, both government institutions, including State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), State-Owned Legal Entities ( BHMN) and Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) as public service providers who carry out their duties and functions in accordance with the rules and regulations applicable to the Ombudsman quickly, efficiently and at low cost.

Abstract

Tarakan adalah salah satu dari sedikit tempat dengan banyak kedai kopi, sehingga dikenal sebagai "Kota 1000 Caffe". Tujuan utama kedai kopi adalah untuk membantu pemilik memaksimalkan kualitas dan efisiensi produk mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan perangkat lunak POM-QM. Tipe antrian adalah "Saluran Tunggal - Fase Tunggal", oleh karena itu tipe antrian yang digunakan adalah M/M/1. Hasilnya meliputi jumlah server, tingkat pelayanan, dan jumlah kedatangan selama periode satu bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Caffe Dob menggunakan model antrian saluran tunggal fase tunggal dengan disiplin antrian untuk datang perlayani pertama. 120 orang setiap empat jam adalah rata-rata tingkat pelayanan, 97,25 orang per empat jam adalah rata-rata kedatangan pelanggan, dan hanya ada satu server yang beroperasi. Rata rata waktu sistem adalah 2.455 menit, dan rata waktu antri pelanggan adalah 4.9025 menit.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to systematically review the application of the Decision Tree method in student profiling activities using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. By analyzing 15 relevant scholarly articles, this research evaluates the techniques employed, the effectiveness of the Decision Tree method, and the most commonly used algorithms. The findings reveal that Decision Tree is one of the most widely used classification methods in education due to its ability to simplify decision-making processes and produce interpretable models. Algorithms such as ID3, C4.5, CART, and Random Forest are frequently applied in various studies, especially for academic performance prediction, dropout risk assessment, and student potential mapping. This study concludes that Decision Tree is an effective, efficient, and relevant method for supporting educational data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.

Abstract

Fiber optic cable network security is a crucial aspect in ensuring the quality of service and sustainability of telecommunications infrastructure. One important element in the installation of such a network is the selection of the type of Drop Core (DC) cable used, especially in distribution areas that are prone to physical and environmental disturbances. This study discusses the comparison between two types of DC cables commonly used, namely AC-OF-SM-1B (DC cable with 1 strand) and AC-OF-SM-1-3SL (DC cable with 3 strand), in the context of effectiveness on fiber optic network security. This study was conducted using direct field observation methods, supported by discussions with technicians in the field, and evaluation of historical data on disturbances and damage from the use of both types of cables. The findings show that AC-OF-SM-1-3SL has a stronger structure, is able to withstand tensile loads and external pressure better, and is more resistant to environmental disturbances such as strong wind gusts and intervention from human activities. Meanwhile, AC-OF-SM-1B cables are lighter and more economical but have a higher level of vulnerability to external disturbances. These findings are expected to be a technical reference in making decisions regarding the selection of cable types in fiber optic network projects, especially in areas with a high risk of physical disruption.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the need for efficient and integrated systems is increasing, including in the retail trade sector such as bookstores. With an application equipped with a cashier feature, bookstore operations can be more effective and efficient. This application not only helps in the sales transaction process, but also in the management of book data, stock, financial reports, and recording of sales activities in real time. To ensure that the application created can run properly according to its function, software testing is required. One of the commonly used testing methods is Blackbox Testing. This application is made using the SDLC method, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). From the blackbox testing that has been carried out on the 5 existing menus, the results obtained are in accordance with what is expected, both in appearance and functionality of each button on the existing menu..

Abstract

Until now, commercial vehicle manufacturers continue to innovate their products. One of the manufacturers is PT Nenggapratama Prima Nusantara, engaged in trade and services, namely HINO brand vehicles, spare parts, and services in direct collaboration with PT. Hino Motors Indonesia. The high demand and various types of spare parts certainly drive PT. Nenggapratama Prima Nusantara to maximize existing stock. It aims to ensure that there is no accumulation or shortage of goods. It is important to know the purchasing behavior of customers about which spare parts they buy together. One of the data processing methods usable for this problem is data mining with association analysis using Apriori algorithm. It is a data mining technique that produces rules to determine consumer habits in buying goods simultaneously at once. Based on the results of research using the Apriori method, the largest value (Support x Confidence) is obtained at 0.33. The biggest possibility is that if you buy the Dutro E-4 Fuel Strainer Kit, you will also buy Element Sub Assy Oil with a value of 0.33. Therefore, it can be seen that related spare parts can be arranged simultaneously.

Abstract

In the current era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, all sectors implement automation carried out by machines or computerization. Whether it's the industrial sector, health services, information services, and even daily life can not be separated from what is called technology, the Central General Hospital Dr. Sitanala is one of the impacts of the industrial revolution 4.0 where the work process uses a computerized technology system. Hospital assets also require good management, because poor management can lead to a decrease in efficiency and also the quality of service at the hospital. Lack of employee awareness of assets/inventory items makes inventory items, not by initial placement data. With an application-based asset management information system through a QR Code (Quick Response) all Hospital assets are recorded and stored in a data storage (server). QR is a form of evaluation of barcodes that we usually see on a product, with QR all hospital asset data can be seen and traced for their existence so that the optimization of hospital assets goes well.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of a linear regression model in analyzing sentiment in text data in the form of tweets. The dataset used consists of tweets that have undergone text preprocessing, such as removing URLs, mentions, symbols, and numbers, as well as stemming and tokenization. The purpose of this preprocessing is to improve the quality of the feature representation in the form of TF-IDF, which is used as model input. The evaluation was conducted by comparing the model's performance on raw and cleaned data. The evaluation results show that the linear regression model has a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.1597 and an R² Score of -1.2884, indicating that the model is unable to effectively explain data variability. Visualization of the comparison between predicted and actual scores reinforces this finding, indicating that the model struggles to capture the nuances of informal language, irony, and emotional context in tweets. In conclusion, linear regression is not an ideal approach for text-based sentiment analysis, and the use of contextual representation methods such as word embedding or BERT, along with non-linear predictive models, is recommended for more accurate and relevant results.
