Abstract

This community education activity aims to improve the community's understanding of capital management and financial governance of MSMEs. Creativity and innovation are very important so that capital management and financial governance can support MSME operations well. The educational method used is in the form of counseling. The main material presented is to provide an understanding of capital management and simple financial governance for MSME business forms. As a result, 24% of participants understood the material presented very well and 70% of participants understood the educational material presented in the counseling activity. Thus, the objectives of this community service activity have been achieved well and are able to provide changes in understanding to the community. Through this increase in understanding, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on the development of MSMEs in Pantai Bhakti Village, Muara Gembong, Bekasi.

Abstract

The low level of understanding and ability of UMKM actors regarding the halal certification process is an obstacle in fulfilling product legality obligations, especially in the food sector. This community service aims to increase the capacity of UMKM actors in the food sector in Tanggamus Regency in the halal certification process through a self-declare scheme. The activity was conducted in a hybrid format across four stages: preparation, socialization of SIHALAL regulations and technical aspects, assistance with document submission, and monitoring and evaluation of applications. The service providers accompanied 10 UMKM actors from account creation on SIHALAL, factual verification, to submission to the Halal Fatwa Committee. As a result, all participants successfully obtained official halal certificates from the BPJPH. This community service initiative also promoted improved digital literacy and compliance with halal regulations. The activity recommended strengthening collaboration between academics, SME operators, and stakeholders to accelerate halal certification and develop a competitive business ecosystem rooted in sharia values.

Abstract

Stata is a powerful software for statistical data processing, including panel data processing data originating from financial and accounting data. Researchers in the Doctoral Program in Economics, Accounting Concentration, Trisakti University, have not been able to use this software. The training was held as a community service program from lecturers at the Universitas 17 Augustus 1945 Jakarta and lecturers from Universitas Esa Unggul. The purpose of the training was to educate researchers in the Doctoral Program in Economics, Accounting Concentration at Trisakti University, on how to process accounting research data using panel data by utilizing Stata software. The training includes how to input data, how to test data according to research needs, and how to interpret the results of data processing. The output of this training is that participants are able to independently process panel data using Stata software, and are able to interpret the results of accounting research from a statistical perspective. The results of the evaluation of the success of the training were 12% of participants very understanding, 81% of participants understood and the remaining 7% of participants did not understand. Although the majority of participants understood and understood very well, participants need to train this skill continuously so that they become more accustomed and can independently process accounting research data based on this panel data.

Abstract

The Internship Program is a means for students to develop their competencies. Under the guidance of lecturers and supervisors at the internship location, lecturers and students work together to implement a good work culture. In the internship activities at PT FJM, the work culture implemented includes an accountable work culture and a transparent work culture. Through the internship program that has been prepared by lecturers and students, all accountable and transparent indicators are practiced in internship activities. The implementation of internship tasks that prioritize an accountable and transparent culture is expected to have a positive impact on the Company where the internship is held. The internship is carried out in the finance division to find out the financial processes that occur in the company. This internship program uses the project-based learning method, which is a project-based learning method that will be guided by the supervising lecturer and internship supervisor from the company.

Abstract

Accounting Information System (AIS) plays an important role in dealing with technological advances, especially in the education sector. At SMK Negeri 4 Serang City, there are still many students who do not understand the concept of AIS. Therefore, this community service program aims to improve students' understanding of AIS, so that they are able to prepare financial reports appropriately and accurately. This activity uses a simple method, namely the presentation of material directly to students through discussions and question and answer sessions. With this approach, it is expected that students can understand the concept of AIS and apply it in academic activities and daily life. In addition, students are also expected to be better prepared to face challenges in the world of work, especially in the field of accounting and finance. This program also provides an opportunity for schools to establish cooperation with industries or companies, in order to provide students with broader experience and knowledge about AIS.

Abstract

The increasing volume of household waste in rural areas has become a significant environmental challenge, requiring sustainable and community-based solutions. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to empower local cooperatives as key agents in driving waste management education, fostering environmental awareness, and promoting sustainable livelihoods in Ciburayut Village, Cigombong District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The program adopts a participatory approach through capacity building, training, and collaborative action between cooperatives, local government, and community members. Activities include educational workshops on waste segregation, recycling practices, and the development of waste-based products to support the village economy. The results demonstrate improved community knowledge and behavior in waste handling, increased cooperative engagement in environmental initiatives, and the establishment of a waste management system that supports both cleanliness and economic independence. This initiative highlights the strategic role of cooperatives in integrating environmental education with economic empowerment, serving as a replicable model for other rural communities seeking sustainable development

Abstract

Research data processing and analysis skills are no longer merely required competencies, but rather an integral requirement for prospective accounting graduates. This need underlies the Stata software training program for accounting students at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The training aimed to educate students on how to process accounting research data using panel data using Stata software. The training covered data input, data testing techniques for research needs, and data interpretation. The training resulted in participants being able to independently process panel data using Stata software and interpret accounting research results. The training was evaluated on participants who had never studied Stata software before. The results showed a significant increase in data processing skills, from those who had no skills at all to those who could independently process data. Although the majority of participants already understood the software, they needed to practice these skills continuously to become more accustomed to and independently process panel data-based accounting research data

Abstract

Financial literacy is very important for students to be able to understand and manage finances. Lack of understanding of financial management can lead to financial problems in the future. To overcome this problem, financial literacy training for high school students can improve their ability in financial management. SMAN 1 Baros focuses on improving students' financial literacy through interactive and practical training. This training is carried out with an educational approach and the use of financial literacy software. The goal is to deepen students' insight into financial management and improve their ability to manage money properly. The results of this training are expected to strengthen their understanding of financial management and skills in managing money. Evaluation will be carried out through direct application of financial literacy training. Successful financial literacy training can improve students' understanding and help them in better financial management. To strengthen the effectiveness of training, a program is needed that integrates financial literacy into the education curriculum in schools.

Abstract

The workshop aimed to improve students' understanding of the concept of intervening variables in a research model. Furthermore, students were targeted to be able to independently process accounting research data for research models that have intervening variables, both for panel data and survey data with questionnaires. Data processing was taught using Stata and Amos software. The methods used in this workshop were lecture and practical methods. Lectures were used to explain the concepts theoretically. Practicals were conducted simultaneously and guided by resource persons. Evaluation results showed that the majority of participants had a good understanding of the material, with the majority of participants being able to independently process accounting research data, for intervening models, using both Stata and Amos software. This workshop recommended that the concept of intervening variables be studied continuously, and the use of software for data processing should be continuously practiced to become more familiar and able to independently process accounting research data.
