Abstract

This is a quantitative research type experimental with a pre-experimental research design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design which aims to determine whether or not there is a significant effect of using the Project Based Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language class V students of SD Inpres 6/75 Biru. The variables in this study are the Project Based Learning learning model (independent variable) and Indonesian language learning outcomes (dependent variable). The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Inpres 6/75 Biru as many as 33 students. This study used non probability sampling technique or saturated sample. This research data collection technique is in the form of multiple choice tests. The data analysis technique of this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study are before using the Project Based learning model shows that the test scores obtained by students are still low with an average (mean) of 52.42, and after using the Project Based learning model the test results obtained by students increased with an average of 84.85. Based on the results of inferential analysis, the value of tcount (17.795) > ttable (2.03693) was obtained. The conclusion of the research results is that there is a significant effect of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language class V students of SD Inpres 6/75 Biru, Bone Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the literacy levels of fourth-grade students at Inpres Perumnas Antang III Elementary School in solving story problems and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with 29 students and 1 teacher, as well as document studies. The results show that the literacy levels of students are divided into three categories: low literacy (Students have difficulty understanding explicit information in the text and relating it to simple contexts.), moderate literacy (Students are able to understand explicit information and some implicit information in the text, but are not yet consistent in summarizing or evaluating the content.), and high literacy (Students are able to analyze complex texts, evaluate implicit information, and critically reflect on moral messages). The main inhibiting factors include conventional teaching methods, a lack of practice with story problems, and The learning environment is less interactive. Meanwhile, supportive factors include the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program, the use of visual media, and support from teachers and parents. This research recommends the implementation of differentiated learning approaches, strengthening metacognitive strategies, and optimizing the learning environment to improve student literacy. These findings serve as a basis for the development of education policies and learning practices that focus on student needs.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative pre-experimental study that aims to analyze the effect of using website-based puzzle media on the learning outcomes of Fifth Grade Students of Elementary School 109 Cappagalung, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency. This study uses a One Group Pre-test-Post-test design. The population in this study were 17 fifth grade students of Elementary School 109 Cappagalung, with a sampling technique using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests before and after using website-based puzzle media. Hypothesis testing using Paired Sample t-Test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistic Version 26 program. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Based on the descriptive statistical analysis, the average pretest value of 43.92 is in the less category while the average posttest of 76.46 is in the good category. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance level of 5%. From the data results obtained tcount (10.985) (>) ttable (2.11991). Thus, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted, it can be concluded that website-based puzzle media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of science at SD Negeri 109 Cappagalung, South Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of flash card media in improving the quality of English learning, to assess the vocabulary memorization skills of third-grade students, and to analyze the impact of flash card media on those skills. The research was conducted at SD Inpres Perumnas Antang III using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group. The subjects consisted of 31 students divided into an experimental group and a control group. The results showed that the use of flash cards positively influenced the quality of English learning. Students became more active, enthusiastic, and engaged in the learning process. Flash cards, which featured attractive visuals and accompanying audio, effectively enhanced student focus and motivation in memorizing vocabulary. In addition, students' vocabulary mastery significantly improved after learning with flash cards. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, the average score increased from 66.48 to 94.19. Most students demonstrated strong abilities in recognizing, pronouncing, and using vocabulary in simple sentence contexts. Inferential analysis using N-Gain and T-Test confirmed that flash card media had a significant effect on vocabulary memorization skills. The N Gain score reached 83.97%, classified as high effectiveness, and the T-Test showed a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test results (p < 0.05). Therefore, flash cards are proven to be an effective learning strategy to support vocabulary development among elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by peer interaction and students' speaking skills. This research is a type of correlational research with a quantitative approach that aims to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between peer interaction and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Mallari, Bone Regency. The population in this study were 20 fourth grade students using a saturated sample technique. Peer interaction data were collected through a questionnaire instrument and student speaking skills data were collected through a test. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, it was obtained that peer interaction was in the high category with an average of 65.63% and students' speaking skills with an average of 55.76% in the moderate category. The results of the inferential statistical analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between peer interaction and students' speaking skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.545 and was in the moderate category. Thus, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between peer interaction and speaking skills of fourth grade students of SD Inpres 5/81 Mallari, Bone Regency

Abstract

ResearchThis study aims to determine how the application of the problem-based learning model in the IPAS subject (PBL) model in the IPAS subject, describe students' critical thinking skills in IPAS, and determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model in IPAS. in IPAS, and to determine the effect of the application of the problem-based learning model on the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Pakkingkingang. The method method used in this research is the Quasi Experimental Design approach with the type of nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was all students of SD Inpres Pakkingkingang and the research sample was students of class IV B amounted to 15 students class IV A berjumalah 15 students. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The instruments used were observation sheets and test questions (pretest and posttest) totaling 5 questions (essays). The instruments used were observation sheets and test questions (pretest and posttest) totaling 5 questions (essai). The results of the study, obtained posttest score control class in the good enough category and the experimental class posttest in the very good category which has a positive impact. category which has a positive impact.  The results of the inferential analysis obtained P = 0.001 are smaller than α = 0.05 using independent sample t-test, indicating a difference in posttest results between the experimental group and the control group. This shows that the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental group is better than the control class. This is evidenced by the average value of student posttest results in the experimental group higher than in the control group. So it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process using the problem-based learning model is very good. (2) the test results show an increase in students' critical thinking skills in learning, (3) there is an effect of the problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the independent curriculum IPAS subject in class IV of SD Inpres Pakkingkingang.
