Abstract

Indonesia dalam literasi dapat dikatakan tertinggal jauh oleh negara-negara lain di dunia, tahun 1997, Program for International Students Assessment (PISA) menyebutkan bahwa Indonesia—menempati peringkat ke-40 dari 41 negara. Kementerian Pendidikan saat itu menerbitkan Permendikdud terkait gerakan literasi sekolah (GLS). GLS tidak hanya menyiapkan ruang baca saja, tapi juga perlu merancang dan mengondisikan situasinya agar tujuan dan manfaat GLS dapat terwujud. Saat ini, sekolah belum dapat melaksanakan GLS dengan optimal karena minimnya informasi GLS yang diketahui. Situasi tersebut juga dirasakan oleh guru di SMP Al Falah Jatirahayu, Pondok Melati, Bekasi. Para guru merasa perlu untuk diadakannya sosialisasi dan edukasi mengenai Optimaliasi Program GLS Melalui Program Inovatif Litergusi (Literasi Guru dan Siswa) agar dapat konsisten dan memahami dengan baik amanat dari permendikbud terkait GLS yang akan diterapkan di SMP Al Falah ini. Untuk itu, sosialisasi ini perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemajuan program GLS di SMP Al Falah Jatirahayu, Pondok Melati, Bekasi.

Abstract

Character education is very important to instill, shape and develop national character values. Because education does not only educate students to become intelligent human beings with high intellectuals, it also builds individuals with noble character. National education functions to develop capabilities and shape the nation's character and civilization in educating the nation's life. National education aims to develop human potential that has faith and piety to God. material on the formation of religious character. The implementation is carried out in three stages, the first stage is the preparation stage. conduct a preliminary survey to see conditions in the field to coordinate early on the implementation of socialization activities on the formation of religious character. The purpose of this socialization activity is to increase knowledge of religious character formation to increase the character of MTS Salafiyah Wiradesa students. The material given during the socialization of the formation of religious character can go through stages including understanding, methods, values, benefits and application in life, the presenters provide explanations andexamples of each method of forming religious character

Abstract

This Indonesian Language Training for Basic Level Foreign Speakers was attended by Thai residents, which was coordinated by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University, Thailand. The purpose of this activity is for BIPA participants from Thailand to know and understand Indonesian. This activity teaches Indonesian from the basics to the participants. BIPA teaching cannot be separated from four aspects of language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This activity is intended for participants from Thailand who have different backgrounds. Most of the participants have never received BIPA training. The positive effect of this activity is that BIPA participants can understand and master Indonesian from a basic level which can be applied when visiting Indonesia. In addition, the BIPA participants were also taught the culture in Indonesia so that they would be more familiar with the culture and traditions that exist in Indonesia. Keywords: BIPA, Thailand.
