Abstract

World Heritage Sites is a term addressed to special places such as national parks, forests, mountains, lakes, deserts, buildings, complexes, regions, rural and cities that have been nominated by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Sciencetific, and Cultural Organization) for the International World Heritage program. The Old City of Semarang in 2016 has entered as one of the nominees of World Heritage Site and until now is in the process of submitting terms to become World Heritage Site. One of the important things that need to be done in the process is to identify and inventory the problems to be handled immediately. The purpose of this research is to find the problems in the management of the Old City of Semarang so that it can be handled and anticipated. The research method used is qualitative rationalistic with empirical approach. The results of this research are the problems that occur in the Old Town of Semarang is quite complex and diverse, among others: 1) environmental problems, namely prone to natural disasters (rob floods and puddles), high traffic volume causes pollution of fading and vibration , the unavailability of public transportation "ngetem" space, lack of provision of infrastructure and facilities and open green spaces; 2) building problems, ie there are still vacant buildings that have not been utilized properly, the building owner / user neglect, the utilization of buildings that are inconsistent with preservation rules, and the lack of maintenance of buildings; 3) social problems, that is the existence of homeless / homeless who occupy abandoned buildings, street vendors, excessive tourist attraction and crime; 4) governance issues, namely lack of clarity of tupoksi and authority of Semarang City Old Town, lack of coordination among stakeholders, and less implementation of RTBL policy regulation of Kota Lama Semarang (Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2003)Keywords: problem, management, site, heritage, worldWorld Heritage Sites atau Situs Warisan Dunia merupakan istilah yang ditujukan kepada tempat khusus seperti taman nasional, hutan, pegunungan, danau, gurun pasir, bangunan, kompleks, wilayah, pedesaan, dan kota yang telah dinominasikan oleh UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Sciencetific, and Cultural Organization) untuk program Warisan Dunia Internasional. Kota Lama Semarang pada tahun 2016 sudah masuk sebagai salah satu nominasi World Heritage Site dan sampai dengan saat ini sedang berproses untuk pengajuan syarat-syarat menjadi World Heritage Site. Salah satu hal penting yang perlu dilakukan dalam proses tersebut adalah mengindentifikasi dan menginventarisasi permasalahan agar bisa segera ditangani.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan permasalahan-permasalahan dalam pengelolaan Kota Lama Semarang sehingga bisa segera ditangani dan diantisipasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif rasionalistik dengan pendekatan empiris. Hasil yang ditemukan dari penelitian ini adalah permasalahan yang terjadi di Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang cukup kompleks dan beragam, antara lain: 1) masalah lingkungan, yaitu rawan terhadap bencana alam (banjir rob dan genangan), volume lalu lintas yang tinggi menyebabkan polusi udaran dan getaran, belum tertatanya ruang “ngetem” angkutan umum, kurangnya penyediaan infrastruktur dan fasilitas serta ruang terbuka hijau; 2) masalah bangunan, yaitu masih terdapat bangunan-bangunan kosong terlancar dan belum dimanfaatkan dengan tepat, pembiaran bangunan oleh pemilik/pengguna, pemanfaatan bangunan yang tidak sesuai dengan kaidah pelestarian, dan kurangnya perawatan bangunan; 3) masalah sosial, yaitu masih adanya gelandangan/tuna wisma yang menempati bangunan-bangunan terlantar, pedagang kaki lima, tarikan wisata yang berlebihan dan kriminalitas; 4) masalah tata kelola, yaitu kurang jelasnya tupoksi dan kewenangan pengelola Kawasan Kota Lama Semarang, kurangnya koordinasi antar stakeholder, dan kurang implementatif peraturan kebijakan RTBL Kota Lama Semarang (Perda No. 8 tahun 2003).Kata kunci: masalah, pengelolaan, situs, warisan, dunia

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a classic problem in big cities especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Many things can be the cause of the traffic jam, for it is necessary to research on traffic congestion as much as possible, with the hope of producing the best solution for all.Congestion that occurs due to the activity and mixing between local and regional flows. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of service and performance road cut Teuku Umar street and road Setiabudi, so it can be arranged alternative actions that can be done to address the problem of traffic congestion.The method used in this research is by using Quantitative Deductive Method Rationalistic, with retrofitting Level of Service and analysis of motion control (maneuver) in order to see the level of service road and the movement of traffic in motion over Jatingaleh Region Semarang. The results of this study is the identification of the causes of traffic congestion and the suitability of the performance in the study area (Region Jatingaleh).Level of service for road Jatingaleh area is the level of F means that hampered the flow of traffic, low speed, volume over capacity, congestion often occurs at a time long enough so that it can drop to zero. In the piece Jalan Teuku Umar and Jalan Setiabudi there are several types of motion control, there are approximately 5 crossing, diverging 6, 7 merging and 3 weaving. Seeing the condition of the poor level of service in most of the observation point, of course, reduce the performance of the maneuver crossing the road.Need for the recommendation that a new path with the added solution of the motion control analysis (maneuver) in the form of Grade Separation, can be Overpass (Flyover) or underpass.Keywords: transportation, congestion, road, and traffic.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEarly detection is important to looking at the phenomenon of massive land use changes. Karimun Regency is one of the areas designated as one of the National Strategic Areas (KSN) for the benefit of economic growth. In addition, parts of the Karimun Regency are also designated as Free Trade Zone (FTZ). This has led to changes in land use patterns. This study analyzes changes in land use in Karimun Regency and its driving factors. Analysis of land use changes was carried out using land use map  and socio-economic data in 2008 - 2017. Methods of data analysis using spatial analysis and analysis of driving factors. The results showed that there were significant changes that occurred in land use. The rate of forest conversion and the decline in the area of agricultural land are very alarming. Growth of the built up area continues to increase. Development pattern of built area only concentrates on center of economic activity that already exists and also on transportation routes. Meanwhile the drivers of change in land use vary. Economic factors such as GRDP Karimun Regency and Investment and social factors such as urbanization and residents working in the primary sector drives land use change in Karimun Regency in 2008 – 2017. Key words: land use, land use change, driven factor ABSTRAKDeteksi dini penting dalam melihat fenomena perubahan penggunaan tanah yang masif. Kabupaten Karimun merupakan salah satu wilayah yang ditetapkan sebagai salah satu Kawasan Strategis Nasional (KSN) untuk kepentingan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Selain itu sebagian wilayah Kabupaten Karimun juga ditetapkan sebagai Kawasan Perdagangan Bebas dan Pelabuhan Bebas (Free Trade Zone). Hal tersebut mendorong perubahan pola penggunaan tanah. Studi ini menganalisis perubahan penggunaan tanah dan faktor pendorongnya yang terjadi di Kabupaten Karimun. Analisis perubahan penggunaan tanah dilakukan menggunakan peta penggunaan tanah dan data sosial ekonomi pada tahun 2008 - 2017. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis spasial dan analisis faktor pendorong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan signifikan yang terjadi pada penggunaan tanah. Laju konversi hutan sangat mengkhawatirkan. Pertumbuhan area terbangun terus meningkat. Pola pengembangan area terbangun hanya berkonsentrasi pada pusat kegiatan ekonomi yang sudah ada dan juga pada jalur transportasi. Sementara itu pendorong perubahan penggunaan tanah bervariasi. Faktor ekonomi seperti PDRB Kabupaten Karimun dan Investasi sedangkan faktor sosial seperti urbanisasi dan penduduk yang bekerja di sektor primer mendorong perubahan penggunaan tanah di Kabupaten Karimun tahun 2008 – 2017.  Kata Kunci: penggunaan tanah, perubahan penggunaan tanah, faktor pendorong.

Abstract

The success of the Jambangan Village as one of the best environmental management icons in Surabaya city and as a village that has won an award as the Best of the Best Category in 2011 became a unique phenomenon to be studied. To evaluate the preservation of the Jambangan Village, this study used the Asian New Urbanism Approach. This approach was chosen because it is seen from the suitability of the life behavior of East Asian people who have a yard in each of their houses even with minimal land conditions. There were two aspects examined in this study, including evaluating the existence of Jambangan Village with the Asian New Urbanism approach and followed by analyzing the model of sustainable villages. The method used was descriptive qualitative and evaluative with percentage analysis and triangulation analysis techniques. The results obtained showed that Jambangan Village has implemented a model of sustainable village with the Asian New Urbanism approach of 80%, while the model of sustainable village of Jambangan Village is called the “Kampong Improvement Model”, which has 5 important points, consisting of the provision of space for economic activities, suitability of spatial use and policies, capital spread towards the society, cooperation for the improvement of the quality of the village, and socialization for the improvement of the quality of human resources Keywords: Asian New Urbanism, Sustainable Village, Triangulation

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the presence of terminal Mangkang Semarang to the problems in the surrounding area. In addition to the above-mentioned objectives of this research has the goal to identify Semarang city transportation management, transportation terminals Mangkang analysis, sera footprint analysis to find out the problems that arise, land use, and the use of function space. To achieve the goals and objectives of the research, the method of analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis.Based on the analysis showed that the terminal performance is less effective and efficient impact on the problems in the surrounding area that the transportation problems in front Mangkang terminal form of congestion caused by transport stops outside the terminal, use less maksmial kiosks that appear hawkers, and environmental problems in the area of the terminal. From the analysis carried out resulted in a recommendation that is used as an alternative in solving problems encountered in general in the terminal region Mangang related to transportation management, transportation terminals, and terminal area footprint. Keywords : Transportation, Terminal, Regional development.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk melihat kondisi penggunaan jalur pedestrian penggal jalan Diponegoro, Jakarta Pusat yang mempunyai berbagai macam karakteristik, mulai dari jalur pedestrian yang sudah dilakukan pelebaran, jalur pedestrian yang sempit, dan jalur pedestrian yang banyak mengalami kerusakan kondisi fisik. Pada dasarnya jalur pedestrian harus bisa diakses secara aman oleh semua orang termasuk penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah hanya penggal jalan Pengeran Diponegoro depan RSCM yang bisa diakses oleh semua orang secara aman, Sedangkan jalur pedestrian disisi lainnya masih banyak hambatan, mulai dari kondisi fisik jalur pedestrian yang rusak sampai penggunaan jalur pedestrian oleh pengendara motor yang melintas pada jalur pedestrian

Abstract

Agrotourism is the most beneficial form of tourism for regional development because it can be used as a strategy for local economic development as well as for the preservation of local natural and cultural resources. With the concept of local economic development, in the formulation of its policy to use the maximum potential of the local potential for agrotourism development. Panorama Baru is one of the areas that has long been directed to become an agro-tourism area in the city of Bukittinggi but its development is still very limited so it has not been able to provide economic benefits for the local community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and potential that exists as a guide for more operational planning for development actors so that agrotourism can contribute to local economic development. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis to identify regional characteristics and spatial analysis to see the potential distribution. The results show that Panorama Baru has characteristics suitable for agro-tourism development and until now there are still many potentials that can be developed into agro-tourism attractions. Agro-tourism development is directed at a community-based model but still requires serious support from the government and other stakeholders.

ABSTRACTAs a city incorporated within the Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia (JKPI), Palembang City certainly has the potential of historical and cultural assets that can be utilized as a tourist attraction. However, tourists who visit the historical attractions in Palembang is still dominated by domestic tourists and even local tourists. Though the historical tourist attraction actually has the potential to bring in more tourists when balanced with optimal development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of historical attractions based on the feasibility of the historical landscape. Scoring analysis techniques used to evaluate the value of the feasibility historical landscape as a tourist attraction so the potential class is obtained. Scoring results obtained that Kawah Tengkurap and Kampung Kapitan included in the low category. Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, Makam Ki Gede Ing Suro, and Kampung Assegaf included in medium category. Meanwhile, the tourist attractions are included in the high category areBenteng Kuto Besak, Kampung Al Munawar, Taman Purbakala Kerjaan Sriwijaya, Bukit Siguntang, Museum Balaputra Dewa, and Jembatan Ampera.Keywords: History Tour, Landscape History, Palembang City  ABSTRAKSebagai kota yang tergabung di dalam Jaringan Kota Pusaka Indonesia (JKPI), Kota Palembang tentu memiliki potensi aset sejarah dan budaya yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai objek wisata. Namun, wisatawan yang berkunjung pada objek wisata sejarah di Palembang masih didominasi wisatawan nusantara bahkan wisatawan lokal. Padahal objek wisata sejarah tersebut sebenarnya memiliki potensi mendatangkan lebih banyak wisatawan manakala diimbangi dengan pengembangan yang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi objek wisata sejarah berdasarkan kelayakan lanskap sejarah. Teknik analisis skoring digunakan untuk mengevaluasi nilai kelayakan lanskap sejarah sebagai objek wisata sehingga didapatkan klas potensi. Dari hasil skoring didapatkan Kawah Tengkurap dan Kampung Kapitan termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, Makam Ki Gede Ing Suro, dan Kampung Assegaf termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan, objek wisata yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi yakni Benteng Kuto Besak, Kampung Al Munawar, Taman Purbakala Kerjaan Sriwijaya, Bukit Siguntang, Museum Balaputra Dewa, dan JembatanAmpera.Kata Kunci: Wisata Sejarah, Lanskap Sejarah, Kota Palembang

Abstract

Community activities in the commercial sector have an impact on the economic development of the city which is the influence of the city development into a town center trade. one of which is the existence of market tiban. A consequently of market activity tiban cause problems such as disrupting the flow of traffic as well as general merchandise facilities held alongside a road or along the corridor on the right or left, so that it is distrub traffic flow. The purpose of this study to find patterns in the market movement tiban Pekalongan. In this study, use a qualitative descriptive approach rationalistic. To achieve the goal of the analysis is then performed 3 analyzes the spatial pattern of movement does not include time tiban market movements, modes of movement, and activity systems analysis contained in tiban market, analysis of spatial movement patterns include cross- sectional analysis of the road corridor, stall dimensions, system settings tiban market, and movement patterns tiban market, and analyzes the factors behind the choice of location which is distance tiban market location, location tiban traders in the market, the similarity of merchandise, consumer offerings, the number of visitors, and mindset. Based on the analysis the pattern of market movements in Pekalongan tiban following reasons traders in making trading location and tiban market always occur on the same day and location. The recommendations contained in this study the need for regulation and supervision of the government in market activity in Pekalongan to minimize the problems effect of market activity tiban. There needs to be awareness of traders and buyers in the market tiban activities to keep abreast of the prevailing order in Pekalongan. There a good management of community market tiban to be organized and able to maximize the benefits of market tiban as evening entertainment for the citizens of Pekalongan.

Abstract

ABSTRACKPeat ecosystems are one of the potential natural resources that are very rich in biodiversity. Global warming is a process of increasing the temperature of the earth. One of the effects of global warming is changing climate characterized by changes in temperature and rainfall. One of the impacts of this is the occurrence of peatland fires, especially in the dry season. Based on this, it is necessary to do management of peatlands as an effort to mitigate climate change and maintain unspoiled peatland areas. Result from this text is knowing how to manage peat ecosystem on South Kalimantan, so if the peat ecosystem can be protect and then the climate be controlled.Keywords: Peatlands, Mitigation, Management, Climate Change ABSTRAKEkosistem gambut menjadi salah satu potensi sumber daya alam yang melimpah dengan keanekaragaman hayati. Pemanasan global disebut juga sebagai suatu proses kenaikan temperature di bumi, dimana efek dari pemanasan global ini yaitu perubahan iklim dengan ditandai adanya perubahan suhu dan curah hujan. Salah satu dampak dari hal tersebut adalah terjadinya kebakaran lahan gambut khususnya pada musim kemarau. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu dilakukannya pengelolaan ekosistem lahan gambut sebagai upaya untuk mitigasi perubahan iklim dan mempertahankan areal lahan gambut yang masih alami. Hasil akhir dari tulisan ini adalah mengetahui cara pengelolaan ekosistem gambut di Kalimantan Selatan, sehingga apabila ekosistem gambut terjaga maka perubahan iklim dapat dikendalikan.Kata Kunci: Lahan Gambut, Mitigasi, Pengelolaan, Perubahan Iklim
