Abstract

The situation of the metropolitan community which tends to be busy and hedonistic causes the emergence of social phenomena in the community, one of these cases occurs among the people in Ulujami Village. The social phenomenon that occurs causes low public concern for participation in social, religious activities and awareness of the importance of mastering technology for owners of micro, small and medium enterprises. Based on these problems, Darunnajah University students created a community service program by carrying out community empowerment activities in an effort to improve IMTAQ and science and technology and the integration of the two in Ulujami Village. Because by integrating IMTAQ and science and technology in life, it can form a rabbani society and intellect. To realize these activities, various activities are carried out by actively involving the community. The activity focuses on improving the community's ability to study religion and technology by holding socialization activities to village officials and communities in an inclusive manner, conducting socialization and training to the younger generation and teaching religion to children as the basis for their education. Meanwhile, the implementation of technology empowerment is carried out for MSME owners to be able to develop their business through marketing with social media and online. Keywords: Empowerment, Faith and Piety and Science and Technology.

Abstract

Bibliometric studies have become a new standard in finding gap research for further research. Mastering software such as VOSViewer can be beneficial in carrying out these bibliometric studies utilizing databases of international scientific publications. However, bibliometric research still needs to be discovered by some academics, especially those unfamiliar with it, such as lecturers at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. Therefore, this service activity aims to introduce and train these lecturers regarding bibliometric studies using VOSviewer. The solution offered by the servant is to carry out introductory activities and training in operating VOSviewer in carrying out the bibliometric study. Apart from introducing the lecturers to the branch of science, which is currently in great demand worldwide, it also increases the enthusiasm for writing for the participants. Through the activities, the participants have carried out a bibliometric study in Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Technology, which can then be published as a separate bibliometric study. As a follow-up to this activity, apart from being able to do it for lecturers in other faculties within the Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, training is also planned to be carried out to publish scientific articles on the results of the bibliometric study.

Abstract

Accounting knowledge is often considered difficult for many people. Many are unable to apply it. Because the practice is complicated and confusing. The benefits of this service are expected to increase understanding of basic accounting and preparation of financial reports for the IPNU & IPPNU organizations in Kesesi village. The urgency of this training is because the implementation of basic accounting and the preparation of financial reports in the IPPNU organization is still said to be not in accordance with the basic accounting standards. The service method is in the form of delivering material related to accounting and regarding how to prepare financial reports according to accounting standards. The material provided can provide insight and knowledge in the field of accounting. Through this activity it is hoped that in the future the IPNU & IPPNU organization of Kesesi village will be even better in terms of compiling financial reports, this activity will provide motivation to participants and benefit the importance of accounting in the IPNU & IPPNU organizations they participate in and with this socialization they will be helped so that they hope for activities like This may be held again in the coming year.

Abstract

The use of fertilizers in the world continues to increase along with the increase in population and consumption of agricultural production. Among the available fertilizers, compost is one environmentally friendly fertilizer type. Compost is fertilizer derived from organic materials such as leaves, straw, reeds, trash, grass and other similar materials. The advantages of compost are that it is free of wild plant seeds, free from pathogenic bacteria, easy to use, and provides a variety of nutrients plants need. In making compost, local microorganism starters are required to supply nutrients and as components responsible for maintaining optimal plant growth processes. Therefore, training is required on making local microorganism starters for composting litter waste into compost. Training will be given to youth organizations in Kertonatan Village to increase knowledge and skills in making MOL starters. The method provides technical material about making a liquid starter and direct practice with the audience. As a result, the participants received knowledge and direct practice regarding manufacturing liquid starter (MOL) and litter composting. The training for making Local Microorganism starters for composting litter for youth organizations in Kertonatan Village went smoothly.

Abstract

Traditional bulletin boards use paper as a way of presentation, and with the promotion of sustainability, it is clear that paper that can only be used once is very wasteful. The use of LEDs to replace traditional bulletin boards is not only more efficient and functional but also beneficial to the environment. This paper focuses on an operating system for LED bulletin boards that interacts with an Android application via Bluetooth, where the user can send the content to be displayed to a matrix that then displays and moves the message. The central processing unit used in the system is an Atmega328 microcontroller dedicated to the Arduino UNO board, shifts for measuring, walking, and scrolling the screen to move the text from right to left, and a Bluetooth module for enabling wireless network functionality and receiving features. It is hoped that the system will benefit LED bulletin boards.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the fields that make a significant contribution to spurring Indonesia's economic growth. This is because the absorption capacity of MSMEs for a workforce is very large and close to the small people. Toast is one food that is quite popular at all ages. Consumers can choose a variety of flavors that suit their tastes. This type of food can be found in several places, including in the hamlet of Diro Bantul. One of the toast seller groups is chaired by Mr. Pungki Priawan, who has been selling toast since 2016. The problems faced are during this pandemic, sales turnover has decreased drastically, the lack of an understanding of the importance of carrying out an online marketing strategy, has not been able to adjust to the pandemic conditions which must implement health protocols according to government recommendations, so that business results cannot reach the maximum. . The UMY Service Team aims to improve the skills of SME players so that they can create digital promotional media to market products online and help provide education on Health protocols, so that they are more hygienic and increase sales turnover. The target of this community service is in the form of increasing discipline in implementing health protocols and helping create digital promotions for online sales through social media accounts. The method used is direct online and offline assistance as well as providing health protocol education. The results obtained during the mentoring were very significant, where since an online marketing strategy was created, sales turnover has increased rapidly, and since the education from the service team, business actors are more disciplined in implementing health protocols.
