KITABA is an open access journal that publishes peer-reviewed articles on Interdisciplinary Arabic Learning. KITABA: Journal of Interdisciplinary Arabic Learning is a scholarly journal that focuses on Arabic learning with an interdisciplinary approach. The journal covers various topics related to the integration of different disciplines and expertise in Arabic learning, such as linguistics, literature, technology, history, and culture. The journal may discuss teaching and learning strategies that use an interdisciplinary approach, as well as empirical research on the effectiveness of interdisciplinary Arabic learning. In addition, the journal may present case studies on the experience of teaching and learning Arabic in various educational contexts and levels, as well as the application of technology and media in interdisciplinary Arabic learning. The Journal of Interdisciplinary Arabic Language Learning aims to provide scholarly articles related to Arabic language learning that can provide a more holistic and comprehensive understanding of Arabic language and culture. The journal also seeks to improve the quality of Arabic language teaching and learning by integrating different disciplines and expertise. This journal can be used as a reference for practitioners and researchers in the field of Arabic language teaching and learning, as well as academics interested in the integration of different disciplines and expertise in Arabic language learning. By reading this journal, readers are expected to gain a broader insight into interdisciplinary Arabic language learning and be able to apply interdisciplinary strategies and approaches to Arabic language teaching and learning more effectively.

Abstract

In a research study that researchers carried out regarding the study of Arabic textbooks for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by "Jauhar Ali" from the perspective of curriculum and content. This study uses a literature method with a qualitative descriptive approach because, in this research, the researcher will explain in depth the content analysis of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The results of the study demonstrate that the textbook was very much in line with KMA 183 in 2019; this is evidenced by the suitability of the objectives of Arabic subjects in KMA 183 in 2019 with the contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV MI are very in line with socio-cultural aspects, psychological aspects, as well as linguistic and educational aspects; this can be seen from the contents of the textbooks, be it dialog (hiwar), (reading) qiraah texts or others that contain values—social and culture of the local community as well as the religion of Islam. In addition, the Arabic language textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah is very suitable for use by children who are in grade IV or aged ten years because it is very well designed and attractive, and the materials in the Arabic textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah begin from easy to more difficult themes.

Abstract

Reading is one of the literacy skills set as Indonesia's national education goal and become a necessary skill in the 21st century. The reading skill of students of MTs Al-Hidayah Batu has not met the ideal standard. Achieving reading skills requires adequate vocabulary mastery and selecting appropriate methods. This study was designed to measure the influence of the reading guide method on students' knowledge of Arabic reading skills. The design of this study is quasi-experiments. There are 30 samples taken from a total population of 120 people using the purposive sampling technique. Data collected through tests, questionnaires, and interviews are analyzed using a t-test. The results show that the reading guide method can improve students' reading skills. Proven by the t-test result of the reading ability with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.010 < 0.05. This statistical test implied that Ho was rejected. Ha is accepted, which means that there is a positive influence on the use of the reading guide method in improving students' reading skills, indicated by increasing the ability to read appropriately, mentioning the meaning of vocabulary in the text, answering questions based on the text, summarizing and retelling the content.

Abstract

Education experts continue to improve the learning of the Arabic language in Indonesia to obtain an optimal method and a good approach. This research aims to provide a clear understanding of learning Arabic vocabulary with the sociolinguistic approach and how to learn Arabic vocabulary with the sociolinguistic approach, as well as the contribution of the sociolinguistic approach to learning Arabic vocabulary. This study is considered very important because the research did not find a sociolinguistic approach to learning Arabic vocabulary in particular. The research used was qualitative research from desk research. The sociolinguistic approach to learning Arabic vocabulary provides a broader understanding of language usage in social contexts. By learning Arabic vocabulary in social and cultural contexts students can develop more realistic communication skills and understand the nuances of language used in everyday situations. This research has many limitations, so the researcher hoped to continue with more in-depth research on the sociolinguistic approach to vocabulary learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe approaches and models of Arabic curriculum development relevant to the era of Society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive system with a literature study method. The results of this study found that the use of the STEAM approach and SAR (Systematic Action Research) development model are relevant to be used in developing the Arabic curriculum in the era of Society 5.0. Integrating an innovative Arabic curriculum through the STEAM approach and the SAR development model can actively motivate students, increase their interest in learning, and produce skills relevant to the demands of an increasingly technologically advanced society. These findings contribute to developing an Arabic curriculum that is more relevant to the needs of learners in the era of Society 5.0. This STEAM-based SAR model can guide educators in facing the challenges and opportunities that exist in developing Arabic learning that is adaptive and responsive to social and technological changes

Abstract

This study analyzed the grains of Arabic for the final assessment of the semester in the Pantoktan Pesantren Al Yasini Pasuruan. The grain of analysis is called a double option amounts to 50 items. This analysis aims to know the characteristics of good tests based on validity, differentness, casting rate, and difficulty level. This research is quantitative research whose data analysis is presented in descriptive. The result of the item grains is said to be 100% valid and divided into three easy, moderate, and difficult categories. In addition, the letters of Arabic are also analyzed by the power to know the difference in leaf ability, so obtained five categories are ugly, enough, well, very good, and inappropriate. In addition to analyzing the matter, this study also analyzed the pattern of answers as a castled rate that the result of 144 options may be loaded and the remaining six may not

Abstract

Evaluation in teaching is one of the important aspects that an educator must do. Evaluation is a benchmark for the success of achievement in planned learning. The process consists of obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting data about the learning process and student learning outcomes. This research aims to provide alternative recommendations for language element test questions consisting of sounds and vocabulary based on the level of Madrasah Aliyah according to the stages of preparing valid and correct tests. This research aims to recommend language element test questions consisting of sounds, vocabulary, and sentence structure based on class levels at Madrasah Aliyah. The steps for writing question items include (1) determining basic competencies, (2) material selection, (3) making indicators, (4) compiling grids, (5) compiling draft questions, (6) reviewing tests, and (7) finalizing. In this article, researchers only write five stages, divided into three simple steps: determining basic competencies and materials, making indicators and compiling test grids, and drafting tests
