Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) in analyzing public sentiment from YouTube comments related to the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election. A total of 1,800 comments, collected from November 2023 to March 2024, were analyzed to test these models. The results show that SVM, with the highest accuracy of 76.33% and precision and F1-Score of 75.29% and 72.67% on the 10% test data, outperformed NBC, which recorded a highest accuracy of 72.19% under similar conditions. These findings highlight the importance of using more sophisticated methods in sentiment analysis to understand the complex and diverse dynamics of public opinion. This study provides valuable insights for stakeholders in developing effective communication strategies and offers a foundation for advancing sentiment analysis methodologies in political contexts.

Abstract

Looking at digitalisation events in Indonesia, this article formulates the problem of Paulo Freire's critical educational strategy in reconstructing Saminism culture regarding moral values. This research aims to analyse the development of Saminism culture in Blora Regency against the background of Saminism society and rapid educational growth. The Samin or Sikep community tends to maintain the teachings of Saminism in this digital era. Moreover, previously digitalisation was opposed by Saminis ideology as part of the principles of life of the Sikep community. Based on Paulo Freire's critical educational perspective and Samin Soerosentiko's Saminist teachings, researchers identified three important findings. First, the process of cultivating Saminism teachings through the Sikep family in the digital era. Second, the Sikep family is also the climax of critical education which contains elements of the codification of Saminism and contains acts of cognition. Three, the process of cultivating the teachings of Saminism is a step that contains critical educational elements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, human capital investment, technological transformation, and government role on the internationalization strategy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. MSMEs play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, contributing more than half of the national income in 2019 and holding significant potential for international expansion, which is the focus of this research. Quantitative methods were employed using descriptive-verification analysis, following the footsteps of statistical pioneers like Ronald A. Fisher and Karl Pearson. The sample comprised 180 MSME exporters selected through cluster sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires using a 1-7 Likert scale, and analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the significance of variables and their relationships in the model. The results indicate that technological transformation significantly impacts the internationalization strategy of MSMEs, while entrepreneurial orientation, human capital investment, and government role do not have strong enough effects in this context. Nevertheless, this study provides better guidance for stakeholders in supporting the growth and success of MSMEs in international markets and expanding the international market share of MSMEs to support sustainable economic growth in Indonesia. The novelty of this research lies in the simultaneous integration of four variables: entrepreneurial orientation, human capital investment, technological transformation, and government role, which has not been done before in similar studies. This adds original value by summarizing the crucial factors influencing MSMEs in Indonesia in the context of internationalization, contributing fresh insights to related literature, and enriching understanding of MSME dynamics in the Indonesian economy
