This condition results in the potential become high risks in KAP, the risks also affect the author who serves as a Junior Auditor at Public Accounting Firm. In this case, the author plans business risk management in the work of the Junior Auditor position to minimize the risk of material errors in doing his work. The research method uses the results of interviews and brainstorming, the results of which are used as events that become the object of research on potential risks that are likely to arise if these risks occur. The results of the event will form a risk register which will be an input in making Qualitative Risk Identification. The results of the study are 5 types of risk events and triggers that occur in Public Accountant, namely; complex transactions (high risk), uncooperative clients (medium risk), high audit schedule (medium risk), final approval audit report (medium risk), and business audit risk (medium risk).

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement risk management in Public Accounting Firms (KAP). This research combines field research and literature research. This research uses a qualitative approach and utilizes descriptive data from interviews and brainstorming to obtain field data. Literature research uses literature studies and previous research. The process of designing and implementing risk management starts from risk identification, risk analysis, risk evaluation, and risk treatment. The results of risk identification show that KAP has several risks that can result in complaints from clients, audit delays, wrong opinions, and financial losses. Risk analysis shows that 3 events are at the medium priority level and 2 events are at the low priority level. A risk evaluation was conducted and showed that 5 risk events actually at medium priority. Finally, risk response analysis shows that risks can be mitigated by mitigation and avoidance. Researchers recommend KAP and similar companies to consistently apply risk management in the audit process so that companies can reduce the adverse effects of risks or take advantage of risks in a direction that benefits the company.

Abstract

In today's fast-paced and interconnected world, managing risk has become essential to effective public relations (PR) in government agencies. The public sector is highly vulnerable to a variety of risks, including reputational, legal, financial, and operational risks, which can have significant consequences for the government's ability to serve the public. This research was conducted to determine business risk management plans that might occur in the Public Relations division of a government agency and can take action to prevent and minimize the risks that will occur. This study uses a contextual descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews with staff who have a good understanding of that field. The results of the study show that there are 4 low risks and 1 medium risk, for this reason, the public relations sector must convey to the public the positive performance of the government so that public trust increases.

Abstract

The efficiency of lathe operations in a mechanical workshop heavily depends on the time taken to set up tool bits. This research investigates the time-setting aspect of tool bits during turning operations and proposes improvements to reduce downtime and increase productivity. Data were collected by observing conventional tool bit changes and comparing them with Quick Change Tool Post (QCTP) systems. The findings show that adopting QCTP significantly reduces tool setting time, enhances precision, and improves workflow. Recommendations for implementation and further research are provided to aid workshops in upgrading their processes efficiently.

Abstract

Carbide cutting tools are commonly used in machine workshops, especially within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan. These tools function with the aid of a tool holder, but the existing holders can only accommodate one cutting insert at a time. This study aims to improve the design of the existing tool holder by creating a more practical and cost-efficient alternative, referred to as the Lathe Dual Tool Holder. This improved design enables the mounting of two types of carbide inserts—TPMR160308 (triangular) and SPMR120304 (square)—thus eliminating the need to change holders during operations. The innovation results in time savings, reduced storage requirements, increased screw durability, and overall cost efficiency. Ultimately, the Lathe Dual Tool Holder enhances the machining process by simplifying tool changes, increasing productivity, and supporting better teaching outcomes in technical and vocational education.

Abstract

New technologies in manufacturing companies continue to develop and innovate, companies face increasing challenges related to operational efficiency, supply chain complexity, and the need for continuous innovation. PT Flextronics Technology Indonesia, as one of the large-scale industries in the Batam city, is trying to overcome this challenge by integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into its strategic decision making. GenAI, a transformative part of artificial intelligence, offers unmatched capabilities in generating insights, optimizing processes, and driving innovation.  This research carries out a comprehensive strategic analysis of PT Flextronics Technology Indonesia's decision by evaluating the potential impact of using GenAI in all main operational domains such as management, engineering and quality. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research combines qualitative insights from stakeholder interviews and surveys with quantitative analysis of pilot projects to assess the feasibility and benefits of Gen AI integration. The findings highlight that GenAI significantly improves decision-making accuracy, reduces operational costs, and drives innovation in product design and production processes. However, successful implementation requires addressing challenges such as workforce readiness, data security, and initial investment costs. The study also emphasizes the importance of aligning GenAI initiatives with organizational goals and encouraging stakeholder engagement to ensure continued adoption. This research provides actionable insights and a roadmap for PT Flextronics Technology Indonesia utilizes GenAI as a strategic tool, strengthening its position as a leader in the electronics manufacturing sector while setting a benchmark for future AI-based industrial transformation.

Abstract

The activities of the National Police are closely related to the community, therefore social media is an obligation for the National Police to involve themselves with the community, especially in the digital era which continues to open opportunities and improve technology. This research aims to determine the dashboard interface factors that can influence its function. This model is TAM and questionnaires will be distributed to staff admin and the data will be analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression, after analysis, interviews will be conducted with several selected people. The research results show that usefulness and ease of use have a huge influence on attitude towards using and this is represented in the real world by 56%. Ease of use and attitude towards using have a huge impact on actual system use and this is represented in the real world by 76%. The research concluded that usability and ease of use are important to pay attention to in order to increase user satisfaction and interest. Ease of use and user interest must be considered to increase application use. Still, usability should not be given too much attention because usability is more focused on user satisfaction and interest.

Abstract

Congklak is one of the traditional games that has become an important part of Indonesia's cultural heritage. The game entertains and teaches social values, strategic thinking, and basic skills such as counting. However, along with the development of technology and the emergence of modern games, the popularity of congklak has faded, especially among the younger generation. This research aims to develop a 3D animation-based tutorial video as a medium for preserving congklak by integrating traditional elements and modern technology. The research method utilizes a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework. The results indicate that the developed animation video effectively engages young generations, raises cultural awareness, and provides broad accessibility through digital platforms. This study concludes that 3D animation can be an effective tool for preserving traditional games such as congklak.

Abstract

The widespread practice of illegal parking in Batam City has led to a decline in Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) and contributed to disorder in public spaces. The existing manual parking retribution payment system is deemed ineffective in addressing unauthorized fee collection and lacks transaction transparency. This study aims to develop a non-cash parking retribution payment system based on web mobile technology using QR Code methods. The system development method employed is Agile, encompassing the stages of Plan, Design, Develop, Test, Deploy, Review, and Launch. The application was developed using Kotlin for the Android platform and Laravel as the back-end framework, offering features such as QR Code scanning, automatic transaction recording, and a user-friendly interface. Testing results indicate that the system can enhance the efficiency of parking management, reduce direct interaction between users and parking attendants, and strengthen transparency and accountability in the recording of retribution payments. The implementation of this system is expected to serve as a sustainable solution for the modernization of parking services and the improvement of PAD in Batam City.
