Abstract

This article is entitled Study of Politics ìn the Old Testament and its Relationship to the Church. This article aims to understand the political situation in the Old Testament and try to relate it to the church in relation to the current way of church politics. This paper uses qualitative research methods. From this research, it was found that basically humans are a political zoon, therefore human life will aways be related to politics. Politics is always closely related to power, so this power is an important issue as to why God must continue to be present in every process of human life, especially for those as leaders both in the congregation and society in general.

Abstract

The lost and found unit is a work unit whose task is to check passengers' luggage by matching the baggage code on each passenger's baggage tag, as well as handling excess, lost and damaged luggage encountered by passengers. This research aims to determine the handling of baggage irregularities at the 2023 Moto-GP event in handling problematic baggage cases by lost and found officers at PT. Angkasa Gate at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Lombok. This research was conducted in 2023 at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport using qualitative methods and data collection was sourced from passengers who experienced baggage problems when arriving at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport. The next source comes from extracting data sources through online interviews with lost and found units regarding passengers' baggage irregularity handlers, direct observations of objects, documents such as PIR (Property Irregularity Report) and related operational procedures. The results of the research show that the procedures for handling baggage irregularities that have been carried out by the lost and found unit are carrying out inspections and recording if there is damage or other problems with passenger baggage in a document called PIR (Property Irregularity Report) which will later be published. Fill in the passenger's identity and then sign it. If there is a problem with the passenger's baggage, the passenger has the right to apply for compensation. The obstacles faced by lost and found units during the 2023 Moto-GP event itself are very diverse, one of which is communication.

Abstract

The purpose of ths study is to investgate the impact of the implementation of Law No. 2023 on the Crimnal Code which regulates the dath penaly in Indonesia. This law aims to change the deah penalty frm a basic legal provision to a special law based on Islamic law and positive law. By using socio-legal methodology, this research focuss on to main aspect: the reconstruction of deah penlty regulation in Indonsia and the role of Islamic Law in strengthening the reconstruction. The resuls of ths study lead to two main conclusions: ndonesia seeks to limit its use. People sentenced to death are given the opportunity to improve their behavior within a (10 years). If the convict shows good behavior during that period. This policy is considered as a last resort in situations that are difficult to reverse, as well as an attempt to balance in Indonesia. In addition, Islamic values as a source of law also strengthen the pro and con arguments, given that the death penalty in the Islamic view is still recognized as part of the legitimate practice of punishment.

Abstract

Social media such as Instagram has become a major platform for communication and information dissemination. Habib Jafar, a young preacher, actively uses Instagram to spread messages of tolerance and peace. However, the message of tolerance conveyed by Habib Jafar is often not well received by everyone and can cause the opposite reaction known as the boomerang effect.This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis techniques to investigate how Habib Jafar's Instagram posts can trigger a boomerang effect in the context of intolerance. Data was obtained from Habib Jafar's Instagram account by taking a sample of 9 posts that had high interaction. Through direct observation, documentation and content analysis, this research identified the main themes and patterns of user responses to the messages of tolerance and diversity conveyed by Habib Jafar.

Abstract

Facial skin problems during adolescence can be a very scary thing for both male and female teenagers. Facial skin problems that often appear in adolescence are acne and dull skin, acne appears at puberty, namely at the age of 10-18 years. Facial skin care to reduce acne can be done using 2 methods, namely modern or traditional methods. Using organic masks is one way to care for facial skin using traditional methods. By utilizing surrounding natural resources such as surrounding plants, one of which is binahong leaves. The main aim of the research was the researchers' desire to know about the effectiveness of natural masks made from binahong leaves in treating acne problems in adolescents aged 12 - 18 years, with a sample of 10 people who had acne on their faces. The sample used masks 1 week 3 times for 1 month. From the results of data analysis, it shows tcount = 4.00, α = 0.05, dk)= 8, and t table= 1.89, the result is tcount>ttable, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, this proves that the use of binahong masks Very effective for teenage acne sufferers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Advertising Attraction and Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM) on User Interest of Gojek online transportation services among students of Bhayangkara University, Bekasi City. The research method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire distributed to 130 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test and f-test to test the hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that Advertising Attraction and Electronic Word of Mouth have a positive and significant influence on User Interest.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of workload and compensation on employee performance through work stress at PT. Indonesian Entelemic Energy. The research method used is quantitative research. The population in this study was 50 respondents in accordance with the total number of employees. The sample in this research is a saturated sample in which the entire population was surveyed. The data collection procedure in this research was to use a questionnaire using a Likert scale and Smart PLS 4.1 software programming. The data analysis techniques used are outer model analysis, inner model analysis and hypothesis testing. The research results show that: (1) workload has a significant effect on work stress in the company PT. Energi Entelemi Indonesia, (2) compensation has a significant effect on work stress at the company PT. Energi Entelemi Indonesia, (3) workload has no effect on employee performance at the company PT. Energi Entelemi Indonesia, (4) compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at the company PT. Energi Entelemi Indonesia, (5) work stress has no significant effect on employee performance at PT. Indonesian Entelemic Energy.

Abstract

Judging from the majority of people in West Pasaman Regency embracing Islam, Islamic banks should be the top priority for Muslim communities in making transactions, saving, and obtaining capital. However, in reality in the field, people prefer conventional banks to Islamic banks, especially Padang Tujuh market traders. The knowledge of Padang Tujuh market traders is still low due to not often getting information regarding Islamic banks and the lack of promotions set by Islamic banks, whether directly or indirectly, related to products as well as services available. This research is intended with the aim of measuring how much knowledge and promotion affect traders' preferences in choosing Islamic banking services. This research is a study employing quantitative descriptive methods. It utilizes both primary and secondary data. The study population includes traders from the Padang Tujuh market, with a sample of 57 respondents gathered through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data processing involves testing the research instruments, which includes validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests such as normality, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Additionally, multiple linear regression tests, coefficient of determination tests, and hypothesis testing using t-tests and f-tests were conducted. This study determined that the knowledge variable has a value of 0.049, which is below 0.05 (0.049 < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the knowledge variable has a significant partial effect on preferences. The promotion variable also showed significant results (0.00 < 0.05), indicating that it has a significant partial effect on preferences as well. When considered simultaneously, knowledge and promotion variables yielded an F count of 37.650, exceeding the F table value of 4.020. Consequently, it is concluded that both knowledge and promotion collectively have a significant impact on preferences.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Leadership Style and Financial Compensation on Job Satisfaction of PDAM Service Region 1 Makassar employees. This research variable consists of leadership style and financial compensation as independent variables and job satisfaction as the dependent variable. This type of research is quantitative and associative. The population in this study was 127 employees of PDAM Service Area 1 Makassar. The sampling technique used in this research was the Slovin formula with a sample size of 56 respondents from the entire population. The data collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires to employees. The data analysis technique in this research uses simple regression with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results of this research show that the leadership style variable has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. This is proven. Based on the results of the t test, the calculated t value is 5.783 > t-table 2.0048 and the significance is 0.000 < 0.05. The results of research on the financial compensation variable have no effect on job satisfaction for PDAM Service Region 1 Makassar employees. This is proven by the results of the t test which obtained a calculated t value of 0.660 > probability 0.05. Meanwhile, based on the research results, it can be concluded that leadership style and financial compensation have a positive and significant influence on the job satisfaction of PDAM Service Region 1 Makassar employees. Based on the results of the simultaneous test, the F-count value was 187.088 > 3.17 and the significance was 0.000 < 0.05 .

Abstract

Education plays an important role in determining the existence of the nation in the future. Strategies that can realize the aspirations of the country are needed in the process of implementing education. Educational strategies will determine the direction and goals of education. One way is to use the educational curriculum as a standard to measure and adjust the needs of the labor market. Human resources born from the world of education with good curriculum management will provide maximum contribution to the labor market. The Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University monitors and evaluates the educational curriculum periodically. The Faculty of Electronic Engineering continues to strive to provide the best dedication to the nation. This is evidenced by the Electronic Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University by producing competent human resources in their fields. Each graduate is equipped with licensed competencies recognized by the state. A field survey has been conducted at the Department of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University when prospective alumni prepare their files to graduate. This is proof of the dedication of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University for the progress of the nation in the future.
