Abstract

Prejudice is a negative attitude directed at certain individuals or groups. Prejudice comes from the Latin word prejudice which means a decision that is consistent with previous decisions and experience. Prejudice can also be defined as a negative belief or opinion that causes someone to behave or think in a certain way towards other people. Prejudice has two components, namely the cognitive component (thinking) and the affective component (feeling). Various types of prejudice include sexism, racial prejudice, ageism, the development of prejudice and discrimination. Discrimination is different treatment, differences in treatment can be based on skin color, class or ethnic background, as well as gender, economics, religion, etc. Discrimination is differential treatment due to membership in a particular group or ethnic origin. Then, various types of discrimination such as racism, tokenism and reverse discrimination.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of social psychology in dealing with negative prejudice directed at someone, as well as finding out how this prejudice can occur through chronology and clarification from the victim. The case that occurred on June 6 2024 was regarding a Plaza Indonesia security guard who beat a dog which turned out to be a misunderstanding due to lack of information from the author and the public. Social psychology plays a role in this case, in helping the victim overcome the misunderstandings and dismissal they experienced as well as providing education to the public not to be prejudiced and spread misinformation widely.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the miracles of the Qur'an or l'jaz al-Qur'an in the uslub Al Qur'an in the form of Hamzah istifham which is part of i'jaz Al Bayani. The writing method used is a qualitative method in data collection techniques using library research analysis methods. The data collection method involves literature study of the Qur'an and related literature. The novelty of this research is the application of the concept of i'jaz Al Bayani in understanding the meaning of the language of the Qur'an, providing deeper insight into linguistic phenomena in the sacred text. Thus, this research makes an important contribution in understanding the richness of the language of the Qur'an and its relevance in linguistic and literary contexts. The beauty of the language of the Koran was born as a challenge to the Arab people at that time to match it. Balagbab science as a scientific discipline that studies the beauty of language, in it discusses istifham (questions) which are included in the study of kalam insha'i.

Abstract

This study explores the uniqueness of linguistic structure in the Qur’an through the analysis of the concept of I’jãz Al-Bayãni. It focuses on the linguistic aspects of the Qur’an, particularly the unique sentence structures and styles of language. The aim of this research is to uncover the linguistic marvels of the Qur’an and understand how the concept of I’jãz Al-Bayãni is applied as an analytical method. Data collection methods involve literature review of the Qur’an and related studies. The findings of the research reveal that the Qur’an possesses unparalleled linguistic uniqueness, with remarkable rhetorical and aesthetic qualities. The novelty of this research lies in the application of the concept of I’jãz Al-Bayãni in understanding the depth of the linguistic beauty and uniqueness of the Qur’an, providing deeper insights into the linguistic phenomena within the sacred text. Thus, this research contributes significantly to understanding the linguistic richness of the Qur’an and its relevance in linguistic and literary contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain the I'jaz of the Qur'an from the the concept of Al-Sarfah which was the origin of mu'tazilah ulama'. I'jaz Al-Qur'an according to Mu'tazilah scholars is an event that weakens anyone who challenges the Al-Qur'an. Al-Sarfah's ideology explains about the I'jaz of the Qur'an that miracles arise not from internal factors but from external factors. This research uses analytical qualitative methods with literature review. The findings in this research are that there are advantages to the Al-Sarfah in the study of I’jaz Al-Qur’an, namely in the context of interpreting the Al-Qur’an and relevance between Al-Sarfah and I’jaz Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Behind the glitter of big cities, there are still many dark sides, many household chores are still problematic in big cities, one of which is dealing with homeless people and beggars who are still often found in every corner of big cities. As Schawab (1992) said, homelessness and begging are still a national problem that occurs in many big cities, including in developed countries. Homeless people and beggars are generally often found at traffic lights, markets, restaurants such as restaurants, in front of retailers such as in front of supermarkets or minimarkets, at the extreme, some even enter residential areas, which in fact is quite disturbing and unsettling. As reported by Kompas.com in 2019, there were 77,500 homeless people and beggars in all big cities in Indonesia. There needs to be a mutual understanding between the people in the city of Jogjakarta with regional regulation Number 1 of 2014 Article 2 paragraph (5), so that legal regulations do not conflict with the social situation of the people of Jogja who are very easy to give and have high compassion. In this way, the author draws a problem formulation related to the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 is relevant, is the implementation of the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 on target and evaluation of the Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014. The research approach used in this research qualitative with literature study research methods (Putrihapsari & Fauziah, 2020). Literature study is research carried out by reviewing various literature studies required in research (Nazir, 2014), by utilizing literature to obtain data in the field without the need to go directly to informants or the community. Library research time starts from June 5 2024 to review and search for reference sources relevant to this research. Yogyakarta Special Region Regulation Number 1 of 2014 concerning Handling Homelessness and Beggars in Yogyakarta is a concrete manifestation of the city of Yogyakarta which in fact is a cultural city, student city and a city rich in extraordinary tourist destinations that is very aware of its territory. The presence of homeless people and beggars continues to increase almost every year in the city of Jogja, causing the government to provide several strict sanctions both for homeless people and beggars and also for the general public who give money. In fact, to have a deterrent effect, these homeless people and beggars must be returned to their hometowns because they are in fact sprawled out in the city. Jogja mostly comes from outside the city of Jogja. If this is still not heeded, then the sanction of imprisonment must also be imposed, not only for money givers but also for homeless people and beggars to provide a deterrent effect.

Abstract

Good public service and law enforcement are essential toining national order and security. This study investigates how police ethics and integrity relate to analyzing the concepts of police ethic and integrities. The objective of this study is to understand the important role played by moral values and Integrity in police operations. This study aims to explain how ethics, integrity, and honesty can be incorporated into police practice to improve the quality of public service and strengthen the relationship between police and society. This research uses qualitative methodology to do it.

Abstract

The 2024 Presidential Election has indeed ended, but the hypocritical atmosphere is still very pronounced and colorful. There are many pros and cons going on. Starting from the Constitutional Court which is considered unethical, there are many issues regarding sara and many more. Many people contributed to the election process. ASN as a state civil servant does not escape attention, considering that ASN is regulated by Law Number 5 of 2014 or better known as the ASN Law, which is a law that regulates all matters regarding the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This law is a regulatory framework to encourage the creation of ASN consisting of Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) who have integrity, are professional, neutral and free from political interference. The research approach used in this research is qualitative with a literature study research method (Putrihapsari & Fauziah, 2020). Literature study is research carried out by reviewing various literature studies required in research (Nazir, 2014), by utilizing literature to obtain data in the field without the need to go directly to informants or the community. Through this research, it is hoped that ASN will be able to implement a code of ethics that regulates moral principles that are taken into consideration in making decisions and a code of behavior that regulates what must be done, what can be done and what cannot be done. Compliance with the code of ethics will form very important behavior in creating professional ASN employees because professionalism is not only related to having competence but also attitudes and behavior in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

This Police Personality Analysis aims to determine the factors that influence police performance in helping the community. Police performance is greatly influenced by various factors, including the police's own personality. Police officers' personalities can influence how they interact with the public and how they carry out their duties. Therefore, analyzing police personality is very important in improving police performance and increasing public trust in the police. This research uses factor analysis methods to group variables that influence police performance. The research results show that of the 21 variables that influence the performance of Buleleng Regency SatPol PP employees, they can be reduced to 6 (six) factors. These factors include: (1) Work Discipline Factor, (2) Motivation Factor, (3) Job Satisfaction Factor, (4) Compensation Factor, (5) Work Environment Factor, and (6) Work Stress Factor. These factors have a significant influence on police performance, with a high work ethic, strong motivation, good job satisfaction, adequate compensation, high work discipline, good competence, a conducive work environment, an effective recruitment/selection process, and experience. relevant factors have a significant effect on police performance. In this analysis, the research also found that experience and compensation affect the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in the work area of ​​the Pancana Health Center, Barru Regency in 2021. The most influential variables are experience and compensation for the performance of community-based surveillance cadres in Pancana Community Health Center working area, Barru Regency. In synthesis, this analysis shows that the factors that influence police performance are very complex and influenced by various variables. Therefore, this analysis suggests that police organizations need to increase the work effectiveness of police officers, build professional police institutions, and gain greater public trust by paying attention to the factors that influence police performance.

Abstract

This article discusses advocacy, which is a movement to provide support for marginalized people by highlighting a case of bullying that resulted in death. Vina's case was made into a big screen film and succeeded in attracting a lot of attention from Indonesian citizens. The film "Vina Before 7 Days" tells the story of a girl who had to suffer the death of a victim of bullying which resulted in abuse. Bullying itself is widespread among teenagers by taking advantage of someone's absence which results in mental and physical harm to the victim and makes the victim ostracized in their social environment, which is why this article tries to look at the film "Vina Prior 7 Hari" as an advocacy movement. This article uses a qualitative method with a literature review to collect data and a content analysis approach to describe sources in the form of narratives or images. The form of data taken comes from films and related news media. The results of this research show the reason for making a true story into a film entitled "Vina Before 7 Days" of a murder victim, due to bullying. The making of this film provides defense and support for the victim with the aim that this case will not be forgotten and there will be no more victims of bullying. This article deliberately does not focus on advocacy for the victim's family because if defense and support is given to the victim's family then the case will lead to a system of revenge, whereas revenge is not something that advocacy wants to fight for. If you want to fight for the legal system, then advocacy is not suitable to discuss this issue because what is wrong is not the legal system but the policy makers who play with the law. So from this advocacy step, it is hoped that policy makers will pay attention to solutions so that bullying does not happen again.
