Abstract

Effective handling of social conflicts requires a holistic and humanist approach, especially from law enforcement agencies such as the National Police. The reorientation of the National Police's role in handling social conflicts emphasizes fair, transparent and accountable law enforcement. This research highlights the importance of the National Police adopting preventive and proactive strategies to detect and prevent conflict early through partnerships with the community and related organizations. A humanist law enforcement approach that respects human rights is also a main focus, with the aim of not only overcoming conflict but also providing long-term solutions. Apart from that, increasing the capacity and competence of Polri personnel through continuous training is very necessary so that they are better prepared and professional in dealing with conflict situations. Strong collaboration between government agencies and non-government institutions as well as the use of advanced information technology were also identified as key factors in increasing the effectiveness of handling social conflicts by the National Police. With the right reorientation, the National Police can play a more effective role in maintaining security, public order, and supporting the creation of peace and social justice in Indonesia. Reorientation of the role of POLRI must be carried out immediately in resolving conflicts. Another goal is to understand strategies and mechanisms for handling social conflict to achieve peace in line with legal demands, democratization, justice and truth, and human rights. The research results found that in handling social conflict, POLRI as law enforcers tasked with maintaining domestic security are required to have professional and proportional expertise and skills that are in line with legal demands, democratization, justice and truth, as well as human rights.

Abstract

Conflict is one type of conflict that can cause dissatisfaction and harm organizational performance. Conflict can be divided into functional conflict and dysfunctional conflict. Functional conflict can help improve decisions and creativity, and functional conflict can cause dysfunction and harm organizational performance. There are two types of conflict, namely functional conflict which can help improve decision making and creativity, and dysfunctional conflict which can cause conflict and damage organizational performance. In this article, we will discuss types of conflict and how they can lead to conflict in organizations.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of emotional intelligence on aggressiveness in police officers in the Indonesian police force. Aggressiveness in the form of physical and verbal can be caused by several internal factors and external factors. Emotional intelligence is an individual's ability to regulate and manage emotions that are believed to influence individual aggressive behavior. This research method uses a case study method and literature study to examine the urgency between emotional intelligence and aggressiveness in police officers. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence is very important for every police officer to control emotions or feelings, be calm, persuasive and able to provide the best service to the community as expected by the community.

Abstract

This study aims to test the hypothesis about the factors that affect brand loyalty among Samsung smartphone users. This study is a quantitative research with primary data obtained through online questionnaires using Google Forms. A Likert scale with five points is used to measure the entire variable. The number of samples used was 100 respondents, where each indicator was represented by five respondents. Non-probability sampling techniques, especially purposive sampling, were used to select respondents who meet the criteria, namely Samsung smartphone users with a minimum of one year of use. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SMART PLS program. Convergent validity is tested through outer loadings that must be greater than 0.70, while discriminant validity is tested through Average Variance Extracted (AVE) with a minimum value of 0.5. Reliability was tested using Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha with a minimum value of 0.70. The results showed that brand satisfaction has a positive influence on attitudes towards brands and brand loyalty. In addition, love for the brand also has a positive effect on brand loyalty and self-esteem. However, self-esteem has no direct influence on brand loyalty. Attitudes toward brands served as a mediating variable in the relationship between brand satisfaction and brand loyalty, while self-esteem did not mediate the relationship between brand love and brand loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the extent to which the use of e-money, e-wallet and also the use of ATM machines in Indonesia has a big impact on the economic behavior of modern society. Almost all Indonesian people spend their shopping time by taking advantage of advanced technology, namely by using online payment systems, for example, for transportation users such as trains, toll road users, they mostly use e-money, then people who are used to shopping at market places often use e-money. wallet for transactions, or just to buy credit or pay electricity bills. The existence of ATM machines at almost every point in Indonesia really means that the circulation of electronic money is very large, but in reality there are still many people in our society who do not have money or have low financial capabilities. This is a problem. Therefore, the author tries to analyze this using qualitative descriptive methods, literature reviews and/or literature studies that are relevant to the problem theme related to the impact of the widespread distribution of e-money, e-wallets and ATM machines in the community. One of the positive impacts of using electronic money is to prevent inflation and reduce the circulation of paper money, people also become safer without having to carry paper money everywhere, however education on the use of electronic money among the public must also be improved, considering that ease of transactions can also cause society is becoming increasingly consumerist, and is also very susceptible to hackers if personal data leaks occur. A nation that wants to be independent and advanced on an economic scale must be open to current developments, including being open to an online financial system, but the government must also have control and balancing regarding these regulations and the community's economic circulation, so that there are no social gaps between communities from an economic perspective.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is making decisions about costs, marketing, marketing mix, marketing allocation in relation to expected environmental conditions and competitive conditions. Marketing strategy is very important to measure the success of a business. The marketing strategy applied at Roemah Jamoer Ikram is well, it could be sent from the 3 (Three) years ago that production could be continued to grow so that it creates new products such as Jamur Crispy. This study aims to determine the marketing strategy in increasing sales volume and sharia economic review in the marketing strategy of Jamur Tiram in Roemah Jamoer Ikram.This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and includes the type of case study research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The primary data source is the owner of Jamur Tiram production in Roemah Jamoer Ikram and the secondary data source is from written sources relating to the marketing strategy of Jamur Tiram. Research data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification of research data. The data techniques used are the degree of confidence and continuous observation.Based on the results of the study concluded that Roemah Jamoer Ikram has implemented a marketing mix strategy that uses 5P variable are Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People. Based on viewed by the perspective of sharia economics related to marketing strategies at Roemah Jamoer Ikram, it has implemented what the prophet Muhammad Saw, namely by prioritizing the nature of: Shiddiq, Amanah, Fathanah, Tabligh, and Istiqamah.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the song "We Will Not Go Down" in the advocacy of the Gaza freedom movement. This song, created by Michael Heart, has become a symbol of resistance and solidarity for the people of Gaza and has received international attention. This song was released in 2009 and is a protest song that describes the suffering of the Palestinian people due to the prolonged conflict with Israel. The lyrics call for steadfastness and determination not to give up in the face of the Israeli occupation forces and military aggression. The method used for this study is qualitative research and literature study. This study explores how music can be an effective advocacy tool in the context of conflict and oppression. Based on the theory put forward by Notoadmodjo in 2003, the concept of advocacy can be understood as a systematic approach to individuals or groups who are considered to have significant capability and influence in supporting the success of a particular program or activity. The research results show that the lyrics of this song succeeded in conveying a strong humanitarian message, arousing emotions and encouraging global solidarity action. These findings emphasize the importance of music as a medium of communication and gathering support in social and political movements.

Abstract

Government ethics is an important issue in good governance. This research aims to analyze the importance of government ethics in maintaining the integrity and accountability of public officials. The research method used is a literature study by collecting secondary data from various trusted sources. The research results show that government ethics includes principles such as professionalism, transparency, responsibility and justice. Implementing good government ethics can increase public trust in the government and encourage the creation of a clean, effective and efficient government. In conclusion, government ethics is an important foundation for good governance and must continue to be strengthened.

Abstract

Stand-up comedy is an art form that provides a lot of criticism of social norms or phenomena that are currently occurring in society. This research aims to analyze the meaning of article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law and the limits on the freedom to present jokes via electronic media from the perspective of the ITE Law. The method that will be used is a normative study method or statutory approach by analyzing Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law by referring to the text of Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law. This research found that this article has a broad definition and multiple interpretations, which has the potential to be applied inconsistently and is susceptible to misuse to silence criticism through stand-up comedy jokes. This research concludes that the existence of Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law can limit the freedom of expression of comics in presenting their comedy material.

Abstract

Social interaction and cyber literacy are the main topics in the digital era today. Social media has become the main platform for people to interact and share information. However, low digital literacy and a lack of understanding of social realities in cyberspace can have negative impacts, such as social deviance and social media addiction. This research uses a literature study method to determine the factors that can influence interaction and literacy in cyberspace and their impacts. The results show the importance of digital skills, ethics, and vigilance when interacting on social media to create functional and positive interactions. Therefore, digital literacy is a necessary skill for individuals to interact healthily and responsibly in cyberspace.
